Welcome, welcome, welcome to the 19th grads thread... celebrating the success of Just Shagging in getting us viroids upduffed!

For those that don't know, a 'viroid' is from the original JSing thread 1, where someone was trying to type ladies (in reference to all the JSing ladies), but their phone decided to call us all viroids instead!

The name stuck and we've been the JSing viroids ever since.

The thread we have graduated from is here in its 36th outing. WARNING: they're all a bit kerazy not to mention randy!

There is also a Just Mumming thread in postnatal clubs here for once your babies come along, or to keep up with the graduated graduates! It's a bit quiet at the moment, but with all these upduffed viroids hopefully it won't be for long!

There is also a private facebook group (so it doesn't give the game away in your news feed!)... if you want to join to see photos of new babies etc, just ask in-thread!

So, roll call below please, viroids!

Good news about scan la :)

I missed my first lazy daisy class last night, by the time I got back from hospital I was tired and stressy so we ate pizza and went to bed Blush
I'll go next week, I let the teacher know was in hospital, just feel a bit bad missing it, but I don't think I would have coped!

First of our 2 full days of NCT tomorrow though!!

RPopz · 09/01/2015 13:51

Don't feel bad Zy Its meant to be a relaxation thing. No point doing it if it's going to have the opposite effect! Smile

STILL baby no name... we are the worst parents ever haha! Everyday someone texts to ask me if we've named him yet... Hmm I imagine this must be what its like to go overdue and have people asking if the baby's arrived yet constantly! We're calling him Ted today, see how that goes hehe.

Fabulous news La! So happy for you Smile Can you hold out til 20 weeks now without having another peek?? Grin

Congrats mountain! - good to see you back Smile xx

willywallace · 09/01/2015 14:26

I'm sure we were over a week without a name popz, better to make sure you're happy with it.

ZylaB · 09/01/2015 14:55

popz it's definately better to pick something you're happy with than to rush it!

teejayem · 09/01/2015 14:58

Ah, brilliant la!

We don't have a name either, and I've banned Mr Tee from discussing our list (esp with his bloody mother) because as you say quite rightly pis, everyone has a fecking opinion on names, whereas if you present a baby with a name, then people don't tend to go 'euuurrrgh, I hate the name xxxx, it reminds me of xxxx' - which is a mistake we've already made, so now I want to keep schtum. I know I've 'lost' one of my favourite names after it was strongly poo poohed by certain family members, and as a result has put Mr Tee RIGHT off.

It's friday! yaaaaaaay!

I bought a preggo yoga DVD and have thought about how virtuous and zen like I will be all weekend, and then I went out for lunch and came back with a giant bar of Reese's which I am demolishing... oops.

Fleurchamp · 09/01/2015 15:16

popz my sister took the full 6 weeks to name her little boy.

In the meantime he acquired a few nicknames and shall henceforth be always known by them. I have my own silly pet name for him Grin he is the cutest baby and definitely one reason we decided to have our own.

RPopz · 09/01/2015 15:31

We've been calling him Pingu Grin

laurenamium · 09/01/2015 15:33

Ah he's lied, absolutely destroying my self confidence and bringing out all of my insecurities all at once with the lie that he's told. Didn't even come clean either he was caught out! He hasn't cheated but for the damage it's done he might as well have! DD is sleeping out tonight so ill talk to him about it then.

I could do with a Waffle House today Grin

teejayem · 09/01/2015 15:37

oh lauren! you poor thing, what a knob...

I like Pingu popz! We call le bump 'the squish' at the moment.

laurenamium · 09/01/2015 15:39

Mines called wriggler at the minute Smile pingu is excellent!

LaLa5 · 09/01/2015 15:49

Pingu is brilliant! Pingu Popz

Lauren that sounds shitty! Is it something that's fixable? I'm like you - if they lie I lose trust. I hope you're ok x

We're doing the Facebook announcement tonight

LaLa5 · 09/01/2015 15:50

Oh my mil already told me she thinks the name we like is ridiculous!

Fleurchamp · 09/01/2015 15:56

No names are going to discussed outside of me and DH.

My mother will be vocal about any name she dislikes and my MIL will pull a sour face.

Have your parents decided what they would like to be called? Ie nanny, grandma etc.? My niece has a name for my MIL (which my MIL insisted upon) and it's just so wanky that I just cannot bring myself to use it for our baby but I just know she will want to be called it.
I might just use her first name, mwahaha, Grin

willywallace · 09/01/2015 16:10

You have to say what it is Fleur Grin !

Sorry he's done something so shitty. Hope you're ok and you manage to source some waffles Thanks .

willywallace · 09/01/2015 16:10

Sorry that last bit was supposed to say Lauren.

ZylaB · 09/01/2015 16:11

lauren have hugs and go get waffles!!

fleur both our mums already have grandkids and are both known as 'Granny'. My mum tried to get in early saying she'd be granny and my mil would have to be something else, but I told her that wasn't fair and they'd both be granny, just known as 'granny theirfirstname'. MIL is. Ore than happy with this, but my mum pursed her lips, but it's tough! She has to share Grin

ZylaB · 09/01/2015 16:12

*MIL is more than happy

Fleurchamp · 09/01/2015 16:21

It will totally out me if I say the name and I am not sure if my SIL is on here.

Suffice to say it sounds var var posh and it fits right in with my niece's private school set but not quite sure it would go down too well in sarf London.

LaLa5 · 09/01/2015 16:38

Grarndmarrrr?

I always had to call mine grandma even tho my friends called theirs gran or granny or nanny.

My mum gives me a look of 'oh dear' if she doesn't like a name we suggest. Mil pulls a face. Sil outright says it's shite.

Ahhh family politics...

laurenamium · 09/01/2015 16:43

DD calls my DM grandma. My mum would love to be gran or granny but DD insists on the full title! I think DPs mum will be nana but tbh we don't see that much of her. Then my dads wife kind of gets a mumble but if I was pushed she would be nana...we don't see much of her either!

teejayem · 09/01/2015 17:03

I have a nickname for my mum that I've used since I was a child, so she will be 'Nanna '.

I have no idea what MiL wants. Might leave it up to Tiny Tee to decide once he can speak...then I can't get blamed for calling her something she doesn't like Grin

willywallace · 09/01/2015 17:15

My MIL actually chose Grandma. Weird. I think it makes her sound much older than she is. My mum is Granny or nana.

cookielove · 09/01/2015 19:11

My mum is grandmama but I call her grandmamama Grin my dad is pops! My mil is grandma surname and her husband is just his name, and the other set grandad and grandma!

ChatEnOeuf · 09/01/2015 19:15

DD's grandparents requested Nanny and Nanna, so that was easy. DD has announced recently that she has three grandads: little grandad, big grandad and great grandad Grin

I'm not telling anyone any names! People just expect you to find out sex, name them and everything before you've had the chance to meet them, I can't like that. DH insists on a shortlist for both sexes before birth but allows me the final call, and I am waiting until after the first cuddle just like last time. Popz I know parents needed a special extension to the six-week name rule - their little one will forever be babygirl [surname] to me. Pingu is a great holding name though.

Oh Lauren that's awful Sad - I hope you can work it through.

DH wants a new nickname for this one. Apparently Indestructabean "invites too many questions".

ZylaB · 09/01/2015 19:20

My nipples are really sore! I'm sure it's just boob changes again Grin. The question is, will Lanisoh help with this or not? I don't want to open a tube if it won't work lol.

I think I'm in a minority having picked baby's name already! We just liked it so much and then started calling my bump that, so it's who she is now. I. Know she'll look like a hannah, because we've already decided that's who she is. Does that make us weird?? :(. I fully understand not picking if you're not sure though, it's such a big decision!
