I have bought a notebook, I keep seeing recommendations and lists on here that I need to keep tabs on!

Keep them coming Grin

misseskimo · 31/12/2014 19:57

fleur I work as an Analyst, and it really shows, I have spreadsheets galore showing the recommended items needed, the average costs, comparable items I've seen vs. what I've actually purchased, then comparing costs of what I've spent to national average Blush Blush Lol.

DH just says he's leaving me to it. I did the same for our wedding a few years ago... My spreadsheets have spreadsheets, probably overkill, but it keeps me remotely sane Grin

Thepurplegiraffe · 31/12/2014 20:19

Eskimo I will be seriously impressed if you keep that up once the lo arrivesSmile

Fleurchamp · 31/12/2014 20:33

miss my husband is just the same! For our wedding, he was not on board at all until I asked him for help with the spreadsheet....

I keep losing track of things mentioned on here and there is so much to buy and so much choice! Plus my sister keeps sending me lists of things she is going to lend me and I obviously don't want to double up Grin

Tilly73 · 31/12/2014 22:15

Still can't add my stats because my I pad doesn't have excel! Will go on the laptop tomorrow if I get chance..am working so off to bed now
For those of you worried about downs it's not hereditary I asked as we have a close family member with it (not that it would bother me so I have not asked for the tests)
Happy new year to you all..looking forward to 2015, it's going to be a good one GrinGrin

Overtiredbackagain · 01/01/2015 00:37

Happy new year ladies! Xx

WantToGoingTo · 01/01/2015 00:56

2015, this year, is the year when we will all become MUMMIES! Happy new year everyone :)

StoneBaby · 01/01/2015 07:24

Happy New Year!

I was in bed at 9.30pm last night so not a lot of celebration Grin

Happy New Year everyone! I was in bed too but there was no mistaking midnight here -- the neighbourhood erupted into loud fireworks and DH's phone made lots of loud text noises.

ceejay I've been having lots of vivid dreams too, mostly nightmares unfortunately, but a few sexy dreams!

I'm in gentle denial about all the things that need to be bought -- won't be doing anything for at least another month as I've got work and study deadlines.

HollyC255552 · 01/01/2015 08:14

Have my 12 week scan on 7 Jan - feeling very nervous now! I think I'm 12 weeks this Sunday. Just want to know now everything is ok!! Had a private scan at 9+4 everything was fine/healthy but still can't help but worry.

Ceejay14 · 01/01/2015 08:52

Happy new year everyone! I was asleep by midnight, then woken up by fireworks too. Tried so hard to stay awake for the countdown but failed Sad. I'm hoping the tiredness stage passes soon as I have a week away with work at the end of Jan which involves a lot of late nights and I can't be first to bed as I'm hosting the trip Sad. I'm 11 plus 5 so hoping as I'll be out of first trimester by then that staying awake will be easier!

Leela5 · 01/01/2015 08:56

Happy new year! I went to bed at 3:30am...ugggg...

broodylicious · 01/01/2015 09:06

Happy new year, one and all! Hope you all had a good night last night, whatever you did. I was in bed by 10, joined by poorly toddler at 11 so minimal sleep here. We moved house in August and I'm truly delighted that the new neighbourhoods' fireworks weren't nearly as prolonged as when we lived in the city - 12 til 1215/20 if that!

11weeks today. 1week + 6 days til scan!

JoY007 · 01/01/2015 09:35

Happy new year!!! Wishing you all more good and positive news.

I was awake for the countdown, toasted with ginger ale in a flute because DP would not let me have half a glass of bubbly Grin. Also danced to Paloma Faith Grin

I am definitely showing now, bump is recognisable not looking forward to work on Monday, don't have any clothes to cover bump nicely, might get some outfits over the weekend if I feel up to it. 13+4.

Overtiredbackagain · 01/01/2015 10:16

Joy I'm with you there! My work wardrobe will not last much longer Shock

I had a glass of bubbles last night, was nice, was in bed for 12.15 x

Bustherb · 01/01/2015 11:37

Happy new year! Can't believe we will have our babies this year!! ???????? xx

Number3cometome · 01/01/2015 11:41

Morning, dtd about 8pm (sorry if tmi!) then fell asleep, OH woke me up at 11ish with a bowl of coco pops not a euphemism and we watched fireworks in the garden with DS and had sparklers left over from firework night. Went to bed about 1am woke up at 10:23 after peeing 40 odd times in the night

Just had a bacon and egg sarnie and thinking about sorting my bikini line out as it is pretty bad right now.

14 days until my scan, getting lots of mini Braxton hicks and wondering if what I felt yesterday was movement or wind.

I felt DS move at 20 weeks, DD at 12. I think once you know what it feels like you know earlier next time? Though clearly whole movements and not kicks as such because their legs are like the size of a staple haha

Happy new year! May we see lots of healthy scans and heartbeats please

BadIdeaBear · 01/01/2015 11:45

Happy New Year, everyone! I made it till about 1am - house party in a colleague's house just round the corner from us. Very glad I did an afternoon nap. I drank Buck's Fizz all night - reckon just over 2 units over four hours - it was nice to be part of festivities but great fun to be totally sober. Don't think I've ever had a non-hungover New Year's Day as an adult!

Can't believe I'm going to be a mama this year... so weird.

12+5

Aretepetite · 01/01/2015 11:48

HAPPY NEW YEAR Smile

I wish you all health, wealth, love and happiness for 2015.

Plus lots of Cake :))

JoY007 · 01/01/2015 14:32

To those who have experienced it - what do the movements feel like?

Pipbin · 01/01/2015 14:38

I'm getting a very odd sensation.
You know when you are tired and a muscle twitches below your eye? Well it's like that but just above and to the left of my bikini line.

StoneBaby · 01/01/2015 14:51

Joy mine felt like it was bubbles in my tommy or a butterfly flapping their wings. Very suttle. It was 5 years ago but I guess I'll be able to identify them again this time

11 weeks today

Leela5 · 01/01/2015 15:10

I'm getting lots of stretchy feelings but no movements yet. My friend said it feels like butterflies

itsnotthatdeep · 01/01/2015 15:48

hi all and happy new year Grin

we've been for a lovely long walk with my dd and our dog.

im having stretchy pains and suspect ive been feeling movement for a week but convinced its wind Shock .

Thepurplegiraffe · 01/01/2015 16:28

Happy New Year all! Hope you all had a lovely evening, I made it to 12.30, the latest in a long time. Luckily dd unusually slept till 7am though I was awake before that.

I thought I felt movement a couple of times over the last couple of weeks but I thought it must be too early at 12 weeks.
