Oh want please don't worry yourself!

I bit my OH head off several times and even accused him of looking up his ex on facebook, don't ask me why, I have no idea! He is very tolerant but does this whole 'ignoring' thing when he's pissed with me.

We had a row in the car about Chad Evans earlier!! Well we didn't row, I shouted my opinions at him! He told me a 'lady at work' explained about pregnancy hormones so he's cool with it haha

Fleurchamp · 08/01/2015 20:39

Evening all, some lovely bumps there! I just look fat Sad

Scan today was amazing, so clear and detailed. Everything in the right place and the best result possible for Harmony Grin

Let the grannies off their leads to tell people. One very happy lady GrinGrin

LaLa5 · 08/01/2015 20:46

Want try not to worry lovely, your hormones are all over the place. I picked massive fight with mine last night, all because I had sudden irrational panic that cat was going to get run over and this was apparently all my dhs fault!

The book 'expectant dad's survival guide' is brilliant for the guys, it helps them to understand what is happening in our minds as well as our bodies.

You're going to be upset many times through your pregnancy, it's natural.

MisterSafetyCatchIsNotOn · 08/01/2015 21:01

Ginger I think they all develop at different rates so I don't think you can read much in to it at this stage, the scan dating is not that accurate. If you're still measuring bigger later on then I'm sure they will check it out then. The only thing I would say is if you are sure of your dates make sure it is written in to your notes just in case it is relevant later on e.g. you go over your due date and they are encouraging you to have an induction.

Thanks for the jojmaman tip BadIdea, I have just ordered a dress online for well under half price, bargain!

Number3cometome · 08/01/2015 21:01

Oh and I accused OH of not fancying me because he dared to turn me down at 5am for a shag Shock

WantToGoingTo · 08/01/2015 21:02

lala that book is great I got it for DH for Xmas! He has been reading it Grin

Lol number I think my DH just forgets sometimes. We have ha this argument pre pg though. We have had a chat now and think he feels better about it but even so still feel v guilty.

Whoever just posted about maternity notes THANK YOu I will get mine now as know I will forget them tomorrow morning otherwise!

Sorry to moan at you all Thanks

Right off to do the dishes to get me some brownie points with DH and dig out my maternity notes for tomorrow. Eek!

ginger so lovely to hear good scan news :)

Keep the bump pics coming ladies!

WantToGoingTo · 08/01/2015 21:03

Haha number your last post made me laugh Grin

GingerbreadHead · 08/01/2015 21:04

Haha LaLa that's brilliant!!
I had a massive go at DH last night when he got us a bit lost. Turned into me accusing him of always getting us lost, having a go at him for always thinking he's right and being a useless person Blush He just calmly asked me to please be quiet while he tried to figure out the right way. Poor man!

Pipbin · 08/01/2015 21:06

Ginger I'm a 16 too, here's my bump well I say bump, I'm thinking post xmas fat really

July 2015 - more and more beans are seen on scans
GingerbreadHead · 08/01/2015 21:11

Thats definitely baby bump Pip Grin
I think I have those pj bottoms too!!

Naturegirl82 · 08/01/2015 21:15

Some lovely bumps there. I'm actually too embarssed to post mine as I look about 6 months pg already. Bump starts from under my boobs Blush I did have a flat stomach a few weeks ago.

LaLa5 · 08/01/2015 21:19

I've got big bump, I'll take a photo tomorrow. Bought some mamalicious and new look maternity clothes and mum bought me jojo maman bebe top and dress. All are lovely and comfy!

So nice to hear positive scan news. I'm getting scared about mine

twinky12 · 08/01/2015 21:19

Absolutely loving all the bump pics. The past week my bump has grown quick with some added chunk from Christmas of course Grin

lordy was wondering where u had been. Can u believe we have scans the same day! Aha mines at 9am though.

Thepurplegiraffe · 08/01/2015 21:38

I can't see all these bumps! How is everyone using MN, the website or apps. I am using an app on my phone and can't see anything. Just wondering if people are using more up to date apps...

LaLa5 · 08/01/2015 21:40

Purple you can't see them on app. Go to desktop site on internet

Ceejay14 · 08/01/2015 21:46

Scan went well today. Ginger, I've also been moved on 6 days and am positive on my dates too. I questioned it but she was pretty sure.

Really exciting to see baby. He/she wasn't behaving for the scan... Not being where he/she needed to be. The sign of things to come I'm sure!!

Bustherb · 08/01/2015 21:47

Has anybody thought about the midwifery led units for the birth? We've got one attached to the hospital so was thinking about talking to my midwife about going in there rather than the actual labor ward. Xx

Thepurplegiraffe · 08/01/2015 22:00

Thanks Lala, thought that was probably the case.

Bustherb you should definitely do it. I would definitely use our one if I was allowed, it should help you to be so much more relaxed and help will be close on hand if you need it.

WantToGoingTo · 08/01/2015 22:08

That is a definite bump pip! Grin

WiIdfire · 08/01/2015 22:09

Im a fan of midwife led units attached to the hospital, and its where i plan to go. Relaxed, but with help within running distance if needed. (Them, not you!)
Not such a fan of separate units - my sis used one and due to shoulder dystocia had to be transferred to the big hospital 40 mins away. So the first hour of new baby was spent with baby in travel seat several feet away from mum. No bonding, no feeding, no snuggles. Very sad.

Bustherb · 08/01/2015 22:22

I'm definatley going to speak to my midwife about it ladies. I hate hospitals as it is so sounds like it will be a better place for me, like you say if something goes wrong they can just wizz me out xxx

naty1 · 08/01/2015 22:30

If you want an epidural you may need to transfer.

Pipbin · 08/01/2015 22:42

Nature I have bump under my boobs too - that one is just fat though. I go in at the waist and then back out.

GingerbreadHead · 08/01/2015 22:47

Ah Ceejay glad it's not just me!! Was worried that I am growing a corker!! I'm going to keep my original due date in the back of my head though, stop me getting too frustrated too soon if I go over! Guess we should just be happy for now that we have skipped a week!!
Thanks Mister that's a good point about induction. Will remember to remind them of it!
I had DD in a midwifery led unit next to hospital, and I'll go to the same place this time. It felt perfect for me, not too hospital-y but close enough if anything was to go wrong.

BadIdeaBear · 08/01/2015 23:05

Oh gawd I need to stop shopping. I'm starting Pilates tomorrow and going to a circuits class on Monday with my mate who's the same amount pregnant as me so I just sort of bought a maternity exercise top and yoga pants. Flipping hell...
