That's much more encouraging Bustherb! Defo continue with the complaint, it's really bad.
A friend of mine is currently 39 weeks, she had a scan at 32 weeks as she had not been feeling much movement. The sonographer rushed the scan and at the end handed her a printout basically saying the baby was mega small and had no amniotic fluid. My friend was devastated. She didn't see the consultant until the next day, who compared to her previous scan at 30 weeks and commented how the baby had appeared to shrink which was impossible! She was booked in for a scan a week later where a more senior person done the scan, turns out baby is the right size and the other person had fucked it up royally. My friend complained.
The next scan was 36 weeks, and the same sonographer was going to do the scan as messed up before. My friend made it very clear she was not happy, but they did the scan and this time the sonographer made sure she done it correctly.
My friend is also under the same hospital as me and (as long as she hasn't given birth!) is coming to my scan next week with me.
If it means next time someone else doesn't have to go through the same thing, then it's worth complaining.
