bust glad you are feeling more positive today. I actually can't believe how badly the service is for some of you. I remember feeling like a number rather than a person last time which is why I opted for the 1-2-1 service. It's such a shame that it isn't available in all areas.
I've not even bothered looking in shops for maternity stuff this time. Put a very large order into asos yesterday which is being delivered today
but I will send half of it back. I just find it hard to judge the sizes and the different makes all size differently. At least it is free returns.
Nearly threw up in the car whilst driving on the motorway this morning. Not a pleasant experience.
Interesting about the cheese being a boy. I craved oranges and eggs last time and this time it is most definitely cheese I want.
I don't want to worry anyone unnecessarily but something to bear in mind. The wrong theory of the dating scan is that all babies grow at the same rate in the first 12 weeks rubbish. So if you are being measured outside of 12 weeks then the scan date may not match up with your own date. Shouldn't be an issue except that they only like to let you go two weeks over your due date before they encourage being induced (you can refuse and ask for monitoring instead). I was very certain of my dates with dd1, and the scan at 9 weeks confirmed this, at the 12 week scan (3 weeks after 9 weeks) they tried to push my due date forward by 2 weeks. I didn't actually agree to this and eventually they re-measured and only pushed it forward by 4 days shows the accuracy of the sonographer!. I went into labour 8 days over due from their date (4 by mine) which was fine. But if I had let them push my due date further forward they would have been pushing for an induction. Just something to bear in mind.
