Welcome, welcome, welcome to the 18th grads thread... celebrating the success of Just Shagging in getting us viroids upduffed!

For those that don't know, a 'viroid' is from the original JSing thread 1, where someone was trying to type ladies (in reference to all the JSing ladies), but their phone decided to call us all viroids instead!

The name stuck and we've been the JSing viroids ever since.

The thread we have graduated from is here in its 35th outing. WARNING: they're all a bit kerazy not to mention randy!

There is also a Just Mumming thread in postnatal clubs here for once your babies come along, or to keep up with the graduated graduates! It's a bit quiet at the moment, but with all these upduffed viroids hopefully it won't be for long!

There is also a private facebook group (so it doesn't give the game away in your news feed!)... if you want to join to see photos of new babies etc, just ask in-thread!

So, roll call below please, viroids!

I have a costa near my house. I have not yet had one of those hot chocolates as I know it will be a slippery slope.

Just received my Xmas bonus Grin I think I will be passing most of it on to asos Xmas Smile

TheBooMonster · 19/12/2014 11:37

hrumph wil your midwife does seem a bit hands off, i was of the impression that if your waters had broken early last time she had to physically check that all was where it was meant to be this time round? But yay that she has organised a growth scan!

ZylaB · 19/12/2014 11:37

Hugs wil can you change midwife if you're really unhappy with her?

I may change my mind about cinema, dunno if I can be bothered with the trip into and back out of town, hmmm. Also wanting chip butty again, may have to be lunch!!

willywallace · 19/12/2014 11:39

They didn't break as such, just slowly leaked away. Haven't noticed anything of that nature this time yet though. I'm stuck watching Peppa Pig and can't be bothered to go upstairs to get the ipad Confused .

ChatEnOeuf · 19/12/2014 11:42

I hate packing! Suitcases done, presents and associated Christmas shit done. Mostly just wash bag and other stuff that's an early morning job left now. As well as anything I've left off my list

Wil that does sound a bit odd. Mine was lovely but uninformative last time around - I think she thought that part of medical school was carrying a baby for nine months - presumed I knew allsorts that was a mystery to me!
Asos you say, that sounds like a super reward for all that packing...

TheBooMonster · 19/12/2014 11:47

ah right wil. We've got cbeebies on here, I tried to put xmas music on a few times but DD switched it off!

I'm so tired, I think I won't be far behind DD going to bed tonight, better not be coming down with something as I can't afford any more time off work >.

TheBooMonster · 19/12/2014 11:52

chat what a pain, I had to stop taking MiL to appointments because the second people realise she's a nurse they stop explaining stuff because they assume she knows and can fill me in >.>

I also hate packing, but I love writing lists for the stuff that needs packing!

willywallace · 19/12/2014 11:53

Good job on the packing. Would have taken me far longer than that.

I don't know if I could change midwife - she is the one allocated to my surgery. But anyway I'm very British and don't like to make a fuss Grin . Plus I don't want all the midwives to hate me when it comes to delivery time until I shout and swear at them.

Mmmm chip butty, I want!

Fleurchamp · 19/12/2014 12:14

I cannot be bothered at all with work.

I am in next Monday and Tuesday, I drew the short straw, which means I am being landed with all the rubbish that will need to be dealt with before Christmas. Why do people go so crazy at this time of year?

I have told one client that we won't drop off a cliff over Christmas and so his issue which he has left for months and now it's suddenly urgent will just have to wait until the new year. He wasn't impressed Confused

Leela5 · 19/12/2014 12:17

:( wil that's a bit rubbish. I've heard a few stories of mw being a bit blasé. Last time I told mw I had no symptoms and she said it's nothing to worry about, then I mc. This time at my booking appointment she dropped into conversation that she always worries when people say they have no symptoms.

I'm waiting for flu jab. Feel horrendous abc grumpy today, I've snapped head off 3 people at work. In my head I really want to be all Christmas party mood but actually I just want to lie down and eat crisps. But when I lie down I feel uncomfortable and sick after not very long.

I'm going to buy a maternity bra today and see if it makes a difference to take the pressure off my middle where the underwire is sticking in.

Well done on packing chat! I like making lists too but not actually packing!

laurenamium · 19/12/2014 12:41

We are having fish and chips for tea Grin might have to make mine a chip butty instead now!

The Christmas wind down has started, my tricky kids are waved off until the new year and I have til 5 o clock today with DDs best friend (they're playing in her room I've been told to go away) then a baby Monday morning then I'm off for nearly 2 whole weeks Grin

Pisghetti · 19/12/2014 12:51

Turns out the work I thought had been left has actually been done so I'm really glad I didn't waste my time on it and looked at the ASOS sale instead
I can't wait for a bit of time off! Even though I'm being horribly unproductive at the moment, I'm just hating the 6am alarm clock.
I'm probably going to be this whingy through the first half of Feb too - sorry bout that folks!
Right now I need to find some chocolate (and do some bloody work!)

willywallace · 19/12/2014 13:24

Haha Pis, come and join me in my whinge-fest! I also hate the early alarm.

I really want chips. Having to settle for pasta Angry .

Minion · 19/12/2014 14:17

I reckon once again im getting fooled into thinking something is happening, however we now have constant backache!
Gx viroids

willywallace · 19/12/2014 14:23

Backaches a good one Min unless it's from sitting on your arse all day.

Minion · 19/12/2014 14:36

Haha quite possibly wil
Starting to lose more and more plug too, plus cramps.
I've a feeling she may be gearing up for her big debut. Felt decidedly lightheaded in waitrose this morning and the past few days is like I've just discovered food. Almost like my body is telling me I'm going need the energy soon.
Oh please, say this is it. I've packed myself off to bed for a few hours, just in case...

laurenamium · 19/12/2014 14:38

Oh fx min Grin

I've carried on my sorting and the baby now has a drawer, half a wardrobe and a designated changing area Blush I'm not due for another 4 months! In the absence of a nursery though I will be sorting DDs bedroom out in the new year and buying her a new bed so I can get the cot bed out in enough time that she doesn't feel like the baby has stole her bed Grin its all a bit exciting!

RPopz · 19/12/2014 14:40

GX Min!!

Mat bra should def make a difference La - I could barely breathe before I got mine!

RPopz · 19/12/2014 14:41

Carb loading Min Grin Grin

willywallace · 19/12/2014 14:54

Ooh Min, actually sounds really promising! Fx

willywallace · 19/12/2014 15:17

Just had back labour for a poo baby Confused Grin

laurenamium · 19/12/2014 15:24

Congratulations wil! What will you name your newest offspring? Grin

willywallace · 19/12/2014 15:57

Well since I've got in before Lala, I think I should be able to reclaim Jobbie.

laurenamium · 19/12/2014 16:05

willywallace · 19/12/2014 17:02
