Welcome, welcome, welcome to the 18th grads thread... celebrating the success of Just Shagging in getting us viroids upduffed!

For those that don't know, a 'viroid' is from the original JSing thread 1, where someone was trying to type ladies (in reference to all the JSing ladies), but their phone decided to call us all viroids instead!

The name stuck and we've been the JSing viroids ever since.

The thread we have graduated from is here in its 35th outing. WARNING: they're all a bit kerazy not to mention randy!

There is also a Just Mumming thread in postnatal clubs here for once your babies come along, or to keep up with the graduated graduates! It's a bit quiet at the moment, but with all these upduffed viroids hopefully it won't be for long!

There is also a private facebook group (so it doesn't give the game away in your news feed!)... if you want to join to see photos of new babies etc, just ask in-thread!

So, roll call below please, viroids!

There was a thread about in on the pregnancy board recently. Mums expecting their second and looking after a toddler finding they kept forgetting they were pregnant, how far along they are, not doing much in the way of prep - often in stark contrast to how they were in their first pregnancy just a couple of years ago. It's really common so no you're definitely not awful! Are you starting the next thread (being as you're next n all Grin )?

Sorry been AWOL, getting over various lurgies as usual! CONGRATS POPZ!!! Great news xxx

minimooo · 03/01/2015 18:30

Just seen photos on FB - popz he is gorgeous! x

Juni thank you for letting me know re the Pioneer - great to have feedback from people who are using it currently. I pretty much fell in love with it as soon as I saw it, so I'm really glad that the reviews I've read/heard so far are positive!
I think I might give the changing bag a miss in that case though. Sounds a bit crappy.

chat was it you who said you used the changing bag that came with the Boots offer? Is it any good?

I've finished knitting my sister's hat now, so I can finally make a start on knitting for baby. I'm going to knit some Debbie Bliss stuff I think (www.thread-bear.co.uk/index.html?action=132) Going to start with the Baby Beanbag and the Buggy Blanket.

couldbeanyone · 03/01/2015 18:46

Mini we have the boots freebie changing bag from last time as certainly intend to use it this time, plenty of space, a fold up mat, also I think insulated pockets for bottles (I bf so used them for other small bits and bobs!). DH friendly too as not girly!

laurenamium · 03/01/2015 18:53

I used the boots bag for DD last time too and it was really handy! I used it when she went for sleep overs too right up to quite recently so it's quite tatty now so will need a new one for this one Smile need to add it to my list actually!

Went to a Panto today, it was really funny! They picked on DP a fair bit and as a result the celebrity (Spanish guy from benidorm) picked on me! DD was outraged! Grin

willywallace · 03/01/2015 19:15

Oh no Lauren I would have died! Glad you enjoyed it though.

Thanks Pis. Someone else start the thread though as I'm on my phone and will only arse it up as can't do links and stuff and I'm technologically thick as pig shit.

Ok I can't handle not seeing Popz's little poppet. Who is around who can add me to the fb group?

minimooo · 03/01/2015 19:43

Thanks lauren and could! I'll add that one to my list Smile

JuniDD · 03/01/2015 21:03

wil I can add you. pm me your email or FB profile

Evening viroids

Finally caught up with you all - been very tired today so reading short bursts between naps.

Wil I think it's natural to feel overwhelmed when you're nearing due date. You're bound to be worried about bonding, particularly if you struggled last time. Have you talked it over with Mr Wil? My sil has family history of pnd so my db has been reading up on what to do if she has pnd so he knows how to help her. I'm going to ask my dh to do the same so he understands what it is and how to get support.

We will be here for you and you know you can tell us anything and we will never judge or interfere, just support.

Pis you were quite young when you had Ds weren't you? It must be a totally different experience this time?

Lauren that sounds like fun! I've never been to panto.

Went to see my horse this morning and he was a million times improved following the Physio, hooray!

I really can't get into knitting or sewing, I'm useless! I love drawing though!

From sounds of it the Boots changing bag is the way to go! How is it free?

My best mate is having elective CS in 4 weeks. She had a bad tear with her first that took hours of surgery to repair so has a complete terror now of giving birth. She's petrified of going into labour early as they won't let her have CS if so, not sure why that would be the case? I feel so sorry for her - she has a hernia from her first birth in her backside and it's meant she can't go to toilet properly this whole 2nd pregnancy. :( sounds pretty horrible!

I've just paid my Daisy Foundation sign up, I start classes end of jan. I've decided against nct as I've met a few pregnant ladies through work who are going to introduce me to their circle of preggers ladies. I'll do the free antenatal classes instead.

Also signed up for FitMummy classes. Hate the name but it sounds fun.

Yes wil come join Facebook group!

willywallace · 03/01/2015 21:59

Fitmummy classes already?! Or is it a pg thing?

Thanks La. Didn't struggle to bond at all last time which is why it feels weird this time. Think I have definitely veered into ante-natal depression (is that a thing?) but I do feel a bit better now I'm not rushing about getting to work. Half of it is probably not sleeping well.

That sounds awful for your friend, hope she gets her CS.

Have pmed you Juni, let me know if it didn't work. Anyone around not on a phone who can do the new thread?

ChatEnOeuf · 03/01/2015 22:07

Evening all, back on the other side of the channel now after a lovely couple of weeks at home.

I did have the boots bag, very handy, good size, several pockets to lose stuff put bonjela in and plain black so matched the pram. Got a bit frayed around the edges but easily trimmed ready for the next arrival. From recollection, La when you join the parenting club, which you can do online, you get it free with any purchase of nappies.

I can understand the bonding difficulties - with DD it was only when she wriggled that I really started to bond. The miscarriages have meant I was afraid to commit too much to this one early days, but now - again with movement - it's coming.

Leela5 · 03/01/2015 22:12

I read your post wrongly wil sorry I realise now it's the new baby you meant not miniwil. Apologies!

Fitmummy is for antenatal and postnatal, they do separate classes. Doing taster session first to see if I like it. If not then I'll look again at yoga. I just want to get moving coz I've already put on 7lb.

My nose blocks as soon as I lie down. In lieu of sinex I'll have to get one of those saline sprays or I'm never getting to sleep!

I can't do new Fred on phone unfortunately

Leela5 · 03/01/2015 22:14

I'll try to do new Fred now on phone.

Wil if you want to pM me your email I could add u to Facebook?

teejayem · 03/01/2015 22:25

Wonderful news Dulce & Indigo and hurrah popz! He is a total heartbreaker.
I had a total and utter meltdown today... Because we took down the Christmas decorations. I think I've been using christmas as a bit of a mental buffer (no baby till well after Xmas etc) but now there's no more big events between now and baby and it made me panic. Plus scanxiety for tomorrow, plus Mr tee is away wth work and leaves straight after scan. And i don't want to go back tO work on Monday. I've felt like I'm on the verge of hysterical tears all day, it's horrid and I am not usually a crier.

I am just thinking positively and hoping all is fine and i can spend tomorrow afternoon making a wish list of nice clothes, shortlisting my side of the name list and telling my folks what colour grandchild they'll be having.

Leela5 · 03/01/2015 22:29

New thread is here!

Leela5 · 03/01/2015 22:31

Sorry tee x-posted - fx for tomorrow, I'm sure it'll all be fine xxx

JuniDD · 03/01/2015 22:36

wil msged you back!

willywallace · 03/01/2015 22:54

Have sent you friend request Juni. Hopefully that will help? I am so thick about these things. Thanks for fred La.

You sound very overwhelmed Tee. I hope the scan goes well and that relaxes you a bit. Work won't be as bad as you think. The thought of it is nearly always worse.

ChatEnOeuf · 03/01/2015 23:18

Good luck Tee, hope all goes well tomorrow.

La, units I've worked in will offer ladies who labour before their section date the choice between a trial of normal labour and an emergency section. Definitely worth your friend getting that clarified.

Off to find this new Fred...

willywallace · 03/01/2015 23:57

Right nobody looks how they do in my head. Thoroughly freaked out. Grin

RPopz · 04/01/2015 00:30

Introduce thyself then Wil!!

willywallace · 04/01/2015 04:18

Haha no I'll just stalk silently from the shadows Wink . Your wee one is gorgeous.

ZylaB · 04/01/2015 06:51

Fx for the scan tee :)

ZylaB · 04/01/2015 06:51
