Welcome, welcome, welcome to the 18th grads thread... celebrating the success of Just Shagging in getting us viroids upduffed!

For those that don't know, a 'viroid' is from the original JSing thread 1, where someone was trying to type ladies (in reference to all the JSing ladies), but their phone decided to call us all viroids instead!

The name stuck and we've been the JSing viroids ever since.

The thread we have graduated from is here in its 35th outing. WARNING: they're all a bit kerazy not to mention randy!

There is also a Just Mumming thread in postnatal clubs here for once your babies come along, or to keep up with the graduated graduates! It's a bit quiet at the moment, but with all these upduffed viroids hopefully it won't be for long!

There is also a private facebook group (so it doesn't give the game away in your news feed!)... if you want to join to see photos of new babies etc, just ask in-thread!

So, roll call below please, viroids!

Black poo - nice! Gorgeous baby though! Making me impatient...... (11 weeks to go)

I bought a new CO detector in my first trimester too! I was particularly suspicious when DS developed morning sickness (and claimed he felt better out of the house) but nope the boiler was not trying to kill us - just the baby.

Super lazy day again today! Stayed in pyjamas until about four then got dressed to go and watch the hobbit.

Should think about bed at some point.

Morning viroids, I'm currently laid in bed very still so DD doesn't hear me and get up Grin she never sleeps this long and I haven't heard her stir yet. I'm getting good at holding the wee in!

Pisghetti · 29/12/2014 09:40

Morning viroids. Lauren one of the advantages of an older child is that he quite happily gets up and try not to wake me up so he can watch things like top gear in peace. I might try my luck and send him a text asking for a cup of tea Grin

There are a lot of very stupid people on MN today. AIBU is an eye opener into our species.

I've been asleep with a cat on my head all morning

laurenamium · 29/12/2014 11:05

Smile La at least your head will be warm?

Pis I am Envy at your cup of tea bringer! I'm still being impressed that DD will fetch the remote control and open the back door for the dog Grin

KatoPotato · 29/12/2014 11:09

la, we're talking medals here? Horrid creature

RPopz · 29/12/2014 11:24

I'm loling at the people on the accidentally pg Fred telling the op that she couldn't possibly be pregnant if she used a condem.... As they are renowned for their 110% effectiveness... Hmm

ZylaB · 29/12/2014 11:25

I'm feeling smug. Been to shop and have put a big slow cooker full of bolognaise sauce on! I said I wanted to start doing more stuff properly from scratch and I used to be very picky as a child, I'm slowly getting over it, so this is my first attempt (DH usually cooks nice stuff and I just do pre prepared). Fx it works!

And yes, the medals person is awful!

RPopz · 29/12/2014 11:25

I've been asleep with a dogs ass in my face all morning!! Love how I can't sleep at night but from 7am onwards I could sleep for hours....

Had period pains all night. I'd quite like to do a baby today!

TheBooMonster · 29/12/2014 11:31

Has anyone ordered any of the breast pads / udder covers / slings etc from those vouchers in the bounty packs? I was taking a look at them (all seemed to have £12 p&p) but started to get a bit suspicious about the reviews I was reading when I found them on Amazon, so was wondering what sort of quality they are if anyone's got them?

Pisghetti · 29/12/2014 11:33

Kinda glad I don't have pets Shock My cup of tea bringer was a condom baby! I got told off by a right bitch of a doctor for 'relying on condoms' Hmm Will have a look at medals now.....

When can we start getting you into an is/isn't it labour frenzy Popz?

OP posts:
RPopz · 29/12/2014 11:48

Haha, are you supposed to use everything at once now?? Me and DH "relied" on condoms for 9 years without issue... Shit happens eh! Stoopid Drs.

Haha I dunno pis! I'm kind of feeling like it's never going to happen!

Leela5 · 29/12/2014 11:57

Hooray for popsiccle arrival!

I was always too paranoid about condoms splitting but I wouldve expected them to work otherwise!

Boo your work sound pretty unreasonable! I hope they are more understanding at your meeting.

Yes - medals person! Yet another person expecting life handed on a plate and whinging when it's not. She's ignored every reply from people suggesting other ways she could improve her situation. And why don't people proof read thread titles!?

We are off for posh lunch today woo!

I feel rotten again though, ugh...

Zyla well done! I'm impressed! :)

Leela5 · 29/12/2014 12:03

On another note - I love some of the user names on there. SandyVagina is one of my favourites!

Leela5 · 29/12/2014 12:04

I'm considering a more inventive name change - how about Lalaneenanoonoo?!

Or Labia ninja?

TheBooMonster · 29/12/2014 12:15

la I think you should totally go for Labia Ninja!! I've had the itching for a new name recently... just to confuse the people who aren't already confused by my last name change :P

I think in hindsight I should have listened to everyone who told me that it was an awful place and I shouldn't go for the job and held out for something else instead... that'll learn me!

Medals person needs a blinking slap. Was anyone else following the thread about the £65 a head dinner on boing day and how she was worried that everyone would expect her DH to pay because they suggested the idea... everyone was ready to cough up and her DH paid anyway! Such an anticlimax!!

mmmmm la a posh lunch! Have totally just ordered takeaway for lunch... mostly it's cookie dough and chicken... meanwhile DD is trying to seal herself inside the xmas decoration box (and squishing the crappy plastic tree decorations) we're having a productive day here in the Boo Household!

popz am I right in thinking you only have a couple of weeks left? la where's your super organised list?

laurenamium · 29/12/2014 12:40

Off to scour AIBU for medals and accidentally pregnant people next Grin

I just popped to a friends to exchange the DC gifts and came back and DP has cleaned the whole house, took the tree down (I know it's early but it's a scratty thing and was driving me mad) AND put the decorations etc back in the loft Grin he's used mould and mildew spray on the kitchen tops though so not sure how safe they are for food prep now but he has lots of brownie points and probably a blow job coming his way Grin

Pisghetti · 29/12/2014 12:41

Popz is 3rd Jan so less than a week!

Labia Ninja would be awesome Grin

Medal woman was unbelievable! Do people like her really exist? I'm careful not to get sucked into those threads. Picking through the hundreds of YABVU replies to find the tiny minority that agreed and thank them personally would make me rage. I haven't had a good rage for ages....

OP posts:
Pisghetti · 29/12/2014 12:45

DP nearly got some rage as he got me out of bed for a skype then decided to skype his brother instead and keep me waiting for hours when he knew I wanted to o out. Then he had the cheek to raise an eyebrow at us not getting out much - maybe cos you've wasted half the daylight hours available by keeping me waiting! Should have just gone out anyway...... Angry

There - feel better now and less likely to rage at some poor passerby later Smile

DulcetMoans · 29/12/2014 12:54

Oh I read the medal one too. Very entitled! I read the relationship ones too, some are heartbreaking but some are just odd!

What a good husband lauren! Does he know what his brownie points can be traded in for yet??

Can you take support on with you boo? I know you can at our place if you notify them first.

Was just condoms here for 10 years too, no accidents but nothing is 100% except abstinence!

Our hamster died. Poor DH loves her so he's pretty down.

TheBooMonster · 29/12/2014 13:07

dulcet I can but we're not in a union and there doesn't seem to be anyone employed in the store who knows anything about employment law, or procedures for pregnant folk who isn't also irrationally hormonal due to being pregnant, it was also mostly indicated that anyone who came along would end up just sitting there like I would be causing company time to be wasted in a way that the whole stupid hearing wasn't

Viroids I have discovered a thing, and it is incredible... If you have a Papa John's near you you have to order the cinnamon dough... it's crunchy, gooey cinnamon pizza!!!!

oh no dulcet at least it's not so cold that the ground will be frozen so you can do a proper hamster burial?

blimey! Jan 3rd? popz is your bag packed? does mrpopz know where to find spare granny knickers? does he know there's 3 stages of labour? are you freaking out?

teejayem · 29/12/2014 13:16

I'm at work :(
We have to have 'Cover' in our office, so in spite of having enough holiday to take the whole xmas fortnight off, (and 6 in the team so it could have been fairly rotated) I had to commute in this morning and will have to do the same tomorrow. It's the most pointless work day ever, there's barely anyone here, and I am sitting idly internet shopping when I could be at home stuffing my face with miniature toad in the holes.
On the upside, I have calculated that I will only need to do the commute a further 83 times before I got on Mat Leave. (another 16 weeks...)
I've also got my finger hovering above the 'book' button for a private gender scan for Sunday, but Mr Tee thinks I'm being silly and that we should wait for my 20 weeks (Which is actually at 22 weeks and not until 24th) Angry. He said if the sonographer can't see then, then we can have a private one. What's worrying me (not really worrying, just a concern) is that on the letter we got with the appointment time, it says it's not hospital policy to tell you the baby's sex as the degree of uncertainty is too high and it would be too distressing for families. Apparently there's a 10% failure rate? I'm sure there are people I know that have had scans at this hospital and have found out the sex,is this a normal thing to put on letters so you don't go in with the expectation you'll find out? (I accept that if squish isn't playing ball then I won't see and I don't expect the sonographer to work some miracle to make him/her move.

Heading over to AIBU now, I could do with a laugh....

willywallace · 29/12/2014 13:23

Tee our hospital don't tell you so you have to go private if you want to know. Think each hospital has its own rules.

When is your meeting Boo?

TheBooMonster · 29/12/2014 13:46

tee Our hospital told us that they think bump is female and showed is the three lines, but said about 100 times that these things aren't certain, I would say ask them whilst you're in there if they can see, I wouldn't be surprised if they took a look either way. Perhaps the letter says that in case they can't easily see so people don't get pushy about being rescanned to find out?

it's on Saturday wil

laurenamium · 29/12/2014 14:03

Oh no dulcet sorry about your hamster Sad

DP doesn't know about a brownie points system Wink he would only start doing things with the trade in mind if he did!

Tee my hospital told us Smile but yes I think it must vary between different hospitals!
