Welcome, welcome, welcome to the 18th grads thread... celebrating the success of Just Shagging in getting us viroids upduffed!

For those that don't know, a 'viroid' is from the original JSing thread 1, where someone was trying to type ladies (in reference to all the JSing ladies), but their phone decided to call us all viroids instead!

The name stuck and we've been the JSing viroids ever since.

The thread we have graduated from is here in its 35th outing. WARNING: they're all a bit kerazy not to mention randy!

There is also a Just Mumming thread in postnatal clubs here for once your babies come along, or to keep up with the graduated graduates! It's a bit quiet at the moment, but with all these upduffed viroids hopefully it won't be for long!

There is also a private facebook group (so it doesn't give the game away in your news feed!)... if you want to join to see photos of new babies etc, just ask in-thread!

So, roll call below please, viroids!

laurenamium · 25/12/2014 18:53

Aw what a lovely idea dulcet! I can't think of any ideas to add to it right now but ill keep thinking!

I hope everyone had a lovely day!

willywallace · 25/12/2014 19:25

Jesus popz you really are a model wife. Going through 9 months of pg and labour and still concerned with dishing out blow jobs. Mr Popz is a lucky dude.

Today has gone so fast. Kind of feel like I wasn't prepared for it. I have no idea where we're going to put all these toys.

fattycow · 25/12/2014 19:59

I told my mum today and she cried as she is so happy. Smile

RPopz · 25/12/2014 20:01

Aww fatty, how lovely Smile

Haha, Wil - if you could write to Mr P and let him know that Wink

Leela5 · 25/12/2014 20:08

Congratulations Lauren!

Hope you've all had a lovely day! I had a glass of prosecco - woohoo!

Leela5 · 25/12/2014 20:09

So nice to hear of the announcements at Christmas!

Leela5 · 25/12/2014 20:20

Panicking a bit. Had small glass (125ml) of prosecco with dinner, the only time since finding out I was pg. I thought that would be ok but now I've got guilt. Is it ok?

willywallace · 25/12/2014 20:32

La I'm a total grumpy arse about drinking in pg and even I am saying that it'll be absolutely fine. Don't stress and enjoy your evening. No bad will come from one wee glass of prosecco. Thanks Wine

willywallace · 25/12/2014 20:33

Oh and congratulations Lauren! What lovely Christmas news.

RPopz · 25/12/2014 20:42

NHS guidelines say 1-2 units 1-2 times per week is fine. You're fine La

RPopz · 25/12/2014 20:43

And with dinner... bean will barely even notice!

Leela5 · 25/12/2014 20:47

At this stage though? I'm only 11 weeks. Just made myself sick - I felt too bad :(

RPopz · 25/12/2014 20:53

Oh La. You silly sausage. Not sure when the placenta takes over baby maintenance but bean won't even get any alcohol til then. Even if it does... such a tiny amount, with food, over an hour or so, it'll be ridiculously diluted. You're seriously fine. Don't make yourself ill worrying x

ZylaB · 25/12/2014 20:56

la it's fine, my SIL is an Obstetrician and she more than okayed a glass yesterday and one today!

Leela5 · 25/12/2014 20:56

I was fine til my mil made a comment, made me feel like a bad mum :(

willywallace · 25/12/2014 21:02

My mum would do that too La. Ignore and smile.

RPopz · 25/12/2014 21:07

That's a bit shitty of her, after all you've been through to get here! Ignore. Its Christmas for goodness sake. You can spoil yourself a little and you are definitely not hurting your wee one Smile x

teejayem · 25/12/2014 21:13

I hid my fizz from MiL today too! I was in the kitchen for Most of the morning tho and i made the glass last about three hours.
Congratulations Lauren! Xx
Hoping we get a little bit of snow tomorrow, we're off to my folks for lunch and then I want to sit indoors being festive eating cheese and biscuits and playing on my new Xbox because I am 31 going on 16 Blush

honeysucklejasmine · 25/12/2014 21:55

Delurking to say tell her to stuff it La! Wink Merry Christmas grads!

fattycow · 25/12/2014 21:58

Congrats Lauren!

cookielove · 25/12/2014 22:22

Congratulations lauren

Eli has been very unsettled and his routine has gone right out the window. He was sleeping through but last night woke at 1am and 4am and due to a wee explosion didn't go back into his bed till 5.30. To say I was tired was an understatement.

I think it's just been to busy for him. When we got home tonight he immediately went back to be my happy boy. Being home helped I think.

He has finally conked out fx he sleeps better tonight!

la don't worry about the odd glass and when it comes to mil sticking their beaks in just smile and nod your head. Then do what you want!

cookielove · 25/12/2014 22:23

Oh and I hope you all had a fan Xmas xx

Pisghetti · 25/12/2014 22:34

La I've seen several recommendations on MN for a book called expecting better by Emily Oster. She's an economist who has critically reviewed the research sitting behind the official recommendations on what pregnant women should/shouldn't do. I'm only a few pages into it so far but I would recommend it too. It's a bit late for today perhaps but her assessment of the best research on drinking in pregnancy is that one or two drinks in the first trimester is fine, if you want it.

hi all. merry Christmas! hope you've all had a fab time and got lots of nice pressies. I've been spoiled and eaten too much.

la I had a glass of bloody bucks fizz last night and one today and I feel guilty before I'm even pg so I know how you feel. BUT, there are plenty of people who drink stacks all through their pgs and babies are fine. please don't worry yourself, that's worse for the baby than 125ml of prossecco with dinner! mil can take a running jump, its your body and your baby. I'm sure there will be plenty you do she won't approve of when baby arrives so start training her to butt out now in preparation! Thanks
