We call my bump Horace!! Something my husband made up and has now stuck!!

I know of a boy called zephyr sunbathing

There was a boy called zephyr at my school until this term (Not a name on my shortlist, tbh.)

A friend of a friend of a friend... referred to her bump as 'tiger' as it was such a lively bump! They then ended up naming their daughter tiger!! She's a gorgeous girl, the least ferocious or 'tiger'y child you could imagine! Bless her!

Is it bad if ive booked a 4d scan for march to book a gender scan for just now from being a teeny bit impatient to know what im having?

I loved the OC too! I was totally in love with Ryan. It was repeated on some sky channel recently but was nearly over by the time I realised.

I really love the name Atticus as To Kill a Mockingbird is one of my favourite books. I'm also an OC fan, in fact I love summer for a girl but don't know if I would be brave enough to use it!

I love the bump names, so cute. I can't believe someone named their child Tiger though. We are calling ours Blasty as our embryo was at the blastocyst stage when we had it put back. We have a video of the embryo developing from the minute it fertilised which is totally cool. I can't wait to show that to our baby when he/she is old enough to understand.

Anyone else struggling to sleep? I keep waking up in the middle of the night wide awake. I've got so much to do tomorrow as we are going away on Sunday on a cottage break.

I'm struggling to sleep right through as well. Waking up at about 6 everyday which is very unusual for me!
I get to tell more friends today, yeah. I told my good pal who happened to start work in my team last week. She said 'me too' she is due her baby 1 day after me. So crazy and exciting.

Glad to hear lots of lovely news over the last few days. We had our 16 week appointment yesterday and heard a lovely strong heartbeat. We've told 3.5yo DD and for the time being at least she's SO excited

I'm another who felt I was feeling quite a lot of flutterings a couple of weeks back but recently things have quietened down so yesterday was a big relief. I've got a lovely case of sinusitis so have been dosing up on paracetamol most days after my GP assuring me it's safe to take the normal dose but part of me worries this is why bumps been quiet so trying to battle through a bit more now works nearly done with for this year.

In other news, I found out via twitter and a link to the nhs site that I clearly hadn't read properly previously that Stilton is no longer on the naughty list. This cheered me up no end!

Yay for positive 16 week appts! Mine is on a Monday - am looking forward to it.

bazza January I think it comes back on, I am going to start re watching it on Netflix to remind myself.
Phryn I bet someone somewhere named their child Revenge, after all the film star Rebel Wilson has sisters called Annachi and Liberty and a brother called Ryot. There will be a little Revenge walking around somewhere.

Just realised I only updated the FB page not the thread last week- my 12 week scan was fine, new due date 20th June, NT measurement 1.2 and waiting for the bloods now. We told DS as soon as he got home from school then let him tell the rest of the family (visiting the nearby ones and phoning the rest). He's very excited. My next scan is 5th Jan- they're doing a 16 week one because of the medication I've been on and risk of neural tube problems- they were able to tell me from the 12 week one that the baby doesn't have anencephaly (which was my main worry) and they'll get a better look at his/her spine at the 16 week one. We don't know whether to find out the gender or not! We didn't last time. I think I'll have extra scans later in pregnancy as well so even if we decide not to at 16 or 20 weeks we can maybe ask then. I've been referred to the perinatal mental health team but nobody can tell me what exactly they do! (including the obstetrician and my psychiatrist- my psychiatrist hadn't heard of them before- all I know is that they don't have a psychiatrist in the team, just nurse and GP) I've also volunteered to get involved in some research as there is so little information about the medications I'm on in pregnancy and breastfeeding so have been put in touch with a team in Cardiff who do perinatal psych research.

Zephyr was the monkey in the Babar books wasn't he? I loved Babar when I was wee. Loving the name threads on the FB page.

Hello all. Lovely news on all positive 16 week apps and scans.

I still haven't really felt movement yet. Although I'm only 15 weeks this is my third pregnancy and I definitely felt movement by 14 weeks last time (even with anterior placenta). I'm thinking it may be due to my tilted uterus (which has been more tilted this time). Hoping I feel some definite movement soon.

It's strange but I'm at this weird stage where I just don't feel pregnant- hardly any ms (great) but still no bump, just a bit of bloat. I thought I'd be showing by now but I guess as my uterus was still tilted at last week's scan that may be why.

Obstetrician app on Monday.

Im dreading glasgow this afternoon but suppose better getting it now rather than it all on xmas eve. Happy saturday ladies and bumps x

So I've done no christmas shopping, none! My head has been in the shed and so I just thought I know, I'll wait til I break up from school and get it all done in the week before Christmas... It's now Saturday and I'm tucked up in bed on day 4 of feeling really sorry for myself! I've missed the last day for postage to do online shopping too! Trying not to panic! Fortunately I don't actually buy for that many people... Just need to get dh, sister, mum and nan. Few others that I buy for I won't see til January so they can wait! Oh dear, Christmas Eve panic buying here we come!! Just what I need!!
