New thread, as the other one was nearly full! Can someone please post the stats page, as I'm useless with things like that!

lucky, funny you should say that - I just switched to my non wired bra today and I have definitely felt less nauseous!

Zampa · 14/12/2014 21:14

Off to Bravissimo this week for a fitting. Need to wear a bra at all times now due to the pain when I'm bra-less.

luckythirteen · 14/12/2014 21:20

broodylicious Oh how weird! Fingers crossed that stays! If anyone has any recommendations for comfy non wired bras for bigger boobs I'd love to know what's good! I usually go for Freya/Fantasie so might check out their non wired options.

Bustherb · 14/12/2014 21:23

I got measured in m&s a couple of weeks back to find Id gone from a 34e to a 36f! Got some lovely (not) maternity bras, 2 for £30 - they are very very very comfy and non underwired xxx

Pipbin · 14/12/2014 21:31

Naty. I used this: www.fertilityfriends.co.uk/index.php?ac=ivf and it's what the clinic said too.

You can't really use your last period as there wasn't really one.

JoY007 · 14/12/2014 22:11

Hi lucky as a big chested lady naturally, I have never come across a non wired bra for big chested. I am a 30E normally used to be a F and kept all my f cup bras; now wearing them.

Good bras for big boobs - fantasie, (pricy but superb quality) any of the departmental stores stock them. I generally don't wear m&s bras as their sizing of me as been poor. I get sized in Selfridges and sometimes go off to marks to buy the cheaper stuff to add to that one expensive treat Wink for a good sizing try the departmental stores that have a range of brands, I find them better than m&s - personal opinion.

Thanks all
stone unfortunately LMP was probably august sometime, no idea without checking p/w as ivf long protocol is soooo long like 6 weeks to egg collection (of horrible nasal spray 4hrly) then 2 wks of injections. The short one seems a lot better, can you tell i really hated that spray i kept forgetting even with a reminder on phone)
So using the egg collection does make the dates on the stats sheet 9+6 today correct (which i presumed as sure someone would have said.
10+1 on a tuesday so the answer is 14+1 at scan date :(
Thanks for the link pip. It shows my dates for nt scan 22nd dec to 11/01, which is a sunday and 13+6 i think as shown on most sites except nhs as last date. Mine is 13/01 .
It weird about cvs though last date 29/12 well lots wouldnt have had scan by then its 13 weeks. So that would clearly be out of the choices.
Calling first thing to check for cancellations and then maybe private for harmony/nt

Anyone having harmony. Was it difficult to get booking over xmas.?

When the talk was about nappies i was going to say dont commit to too many the same brand in case DC dont get on with them - some dont fit babys shape well and leak more than others. But then realised huggies dont sell nappies here anymore:(
Oh well different DC may be fine with whatever.

itsnotthatdeep · 14/12/2014 22:38

ladies I had a maternity fitting at bravissimo and you can go wired as long as you're comfy, ive gone up 2 back sizes alreadyShock n one cup size. last time it was 2 back sizes n 4 cup sizes overall so dont worry and my bra was only 30 quid. as long as you stay at a 38 back they arent too hideousGrin I can't imagine being wire less this early one.

itsnotthatdeep · 14/12/2014 22:40

also im wearing primarks dance wear crop tops to sleep in, breathable adjustable and 4 quid eachWink

I'd suffocate without them im sure

misseskimo · 15/12/2014 00:04

I really don't think my boobs have changed much! I've noticed tonight I've got a couple of large veins showing along the top, maybe nipples are a teensy bit darker, but not by much. But size-wise I think their unchanged... I'm only a 34B and still currently wearing my normal Victoria's Secret bras (that's all I usually wear as they fit me best!) which are all lightly padded and under-wired with no problems touch wood I also don't seem to have any issues at night as still fine in just PJs. Wondering if this is because I'm quite small chested in comparison to some of you ladies Blush

Is anyone else feeling rather un-pregnant? Maybe I'm naive as it's my first, but I honestly thought at 10wks I'd start to feel something to confirm I'm pg. I keep having to look at scan pic and the clearblue I did just to reassure myself! DH thinks its funny, and asked isn't the weight-gain and nausea enough of a hint? But it really isn't! Anyone else? Hmm

10+0

VirtualSantaHat · 15/12/2014 01:38

Bustherb sounds like you need the MN bra intervention Xmas Wink

Sadly I am now a size not commercially made so just going with the closest I can Xmas Hmm

I am awake with toothache but just found antibiotics are safe so will call dentist am!

Threeplus1 · 15/12/2014 04:08

misseskimo I'm also rather small chested (34B too) and have been Shock at the sizes mentioned by other ladies! Apart from feeling slightly fuller, my boobs look no different and aren't sore or painful at all. In fact, not in any of my now 4 pregnancies have they changed a whole lot until my milk came in. Then BAM!

WantToGoingTo · 15/12/2014 06:11

three and miss I am also a 34B - haven't changed size but bra feels slightly more snug. Boobs hurt when pressed and I am wearing maternity bra at night but other than that not too bad :)

8+3

Pipbin · 15/12/2014 07:18

Miss. 34B here too. Slightly bigger and a bit more bouncy but nothing to make me think I need to change size. I went down a size about 6 months ago after losing weight but I've not got enough to go up into a C cup yet. My nipples have been like chapel hat pegs though.

Feeling very unpregnant here today too.
Scan tomorrow.
8+3

Thepurplegiraffe · 15/12/2014 07:30

I am a c and no change here either. If anything I think they might have got smaller as that is where I tend to lose weight.

StoneBaby · 15/12/2014 07:33

Funnily I measured myself yesterday and found that my bra size is unchanged despites the cups been fuller. Still a 38D but I may go to Maman Jojo Beve tomorrow to get a bra as mine are getting uncomfortable.

Naty oops my mistake sorry.

Naturegirl82 · 15/12/2014 07:41

Bigger breastfed ladies bravissimo do decent non - wired bras. I did find after a while that it was better to switch to non-wired as the wire will start to dig into the bump when it starts developing. Hoping my boobs don't get any bigger as I'm all ready a gg!

Thepurplegiraffe · 15/12/2014 08:01

I think from memory wired bras can affect milk supply later in the pregnancy as well but I might have remembered wrong.

Zampa · 15/12/2014 08:32

Naty I'm booked in for my Harmony test this Friday. The US labs are closed over Christmas so the last dates for the blood tests are 20/12. You have to be over 10 weeks but by your dates you should fit in.

I'm going to the Bridgewater Hospital in Manchester where they've just reduced the price to £485.

Toastandmarmiteallday · 15/12/2014 08:49

32B here but now wearing 34C non- wired maternity bra. Still don't quite fill it but here's hopingXmas Wink Lots of choice of a variety of maternity bras in Debenhams which I would recommend - a lot more choice and comfort than M&S. Noticed first vein popped up this morning too - right in the middle of my chest and a lovely shade of blue

Overtiredbackagain · 15/12/2014 08:51

Morning all, how is everyone?

Busy weekend so am shattered but feeling tonnes better. Still not told anyone else. Was going to tell my parents this weekend but after a minor dispute about them going for dinner yesterday with my ex-h and his parents Shock I decided I can't trust them just yet Hmm really feel like I need some moral support Hmm

DC still don't know, although after spending an afternoon with my friends baby, I caught them praying at bedtime last night for a baby. I know they are going to be great, especially DS who I was worried about. Scan not til 2 jan and DP wants to wait til then but I'm starting to show now at 10 + 5

Counting down days now til week off for chrimbo Smile

naty1 · 15/12/2014 08:52

They moved the appt :)
Easily too to almost a week earlier 13+2.
And seemed to have lots of appts now wondering if the date was wrong on form mw sent as this lady asked me, not looking at the form. But strangely wouldnt let me go to 12 weeks but i cant see baby already being 4-7 days too big this early 4 being 13+6 and 7 being the other 14+1 cutoff.
Actually she said EDD and then period date so as either would have confirmed sounds like it was different to what she was seeing.
Just left feeling happy but why was i given such a late date. Oh well.

Mothercare arent too bad for maternity bras. I had such a huge size increase after birth i went DD to like an F, so uncomfortable. And never completely gone back to what i was.

TinyCaterpillar · 15/12/2014 09:07

Morning all. I've been in a bit of denial about the bra situation, think im going to have to invest soon! I've got a few bras left from previous pregnancies but I went through so many different sizes none of them fit yet. I'm normally 28E and I think I've gone up at least 1-2 cup sizes already but nothing in the back (if anything my bras feel loose around the back? Odd). But I can't be bothered with bra shopping as it's not easy to find 28 backs in anything especially maternity bras.

Ladies who are saying they are 34B have you done a bra intervention?! I'm really tiny (6-8) and yet I'm a 28E when I measure properly. Have a look at the style & beauty threads, a properly fitting bra is so much more supportive and comfy.

supersupersupershock · 15/12/2014 09:11

I am usually a 34F and get my bras from Bravissimo (expensive) - went to M&S on weekend and they have 30% off some collections (still on now) and got myself some 36Gs - ooooooh they are so comfy - didn't realise how squashed in I had been. The bigger back size helps indigestion too :)

I am still doing underwired as I find the most current advice says its ok

Number3cometome · 15/12/2014 09:12

Morning all, also in denial about the bra situation.

I think I am a slightly different case - I have breast implants (no not like Katy Price!) I had an uplift with some small implants after b/feeding my other two children (which totally ruined my boobs)

They are normally a 34DD but they are literally busting out of everything.

They are sub-pec implants so are under the muscle and I seem to have increased breast tissue over the muscle so they actually look a bit more like natural boobs now (not that they really looked 'fake' anyway)

I should really go and get myself measured, i'm pretty sure they have increased a cup size, but not a back size.

Shopping at the weekend, need some new work gear too.

Feeling groggy and sickey this morning, but that may just be sitting on a stifling hot train and then being at work haha
