New thread, as the other one was nearly full! Can someone please post the stats page, as I'm useless with things like that!

Good luck fleur!

BadIdeaBear · 23/12/2014 08:44

Hope docs goes OK naturegirl and that your temp is coming down.

Dodgy sleep - in part due to my dreams going bonkers! They're just crazy for the last week or so. The other reason though, is that my DP couldn't sleep. My fault, cos I'm taking him on a surprise birthday trip and he's no idea where to, so he couldn't sleep for excitement!

So, we're off on a trip today, staying overnight in Edinburgh and going to a comedy show tonight. I'm as excited as him, but he thinks he's on a day trip and he's not - we're staying over!

Thanks for the advice on my friend, broody and others. I don't think she's in that blood group so fx

Bustherb · 23/12/2014 09:17

Thanks miss. Funnily enough I find my left side harder to position. The white bits are quite big though so hoping they cover the pressure point lol xxx

Number3cometome · 23/12/2014 09:25

Morning ladies, not had anything to eat yet and don't know what to eat. I want a bacon sandwich if I am honest, but it's so naughty Wink

Back to the gym today, Midwifey said no running and keep the weights now as my BP is a high mess, feels like what's the point going then but I guess I will do some uphill walking and squats or something.

I look pregnant, like fat pregnant and my arms feel heavy so I need to do this.

I am excited at the prospect of wearing my new sports bra, how sad !

broodylicious · 23/12/2014 09:30

Good luck fleurSmile

number, I had a sausage and bacon sandwich at my parents the other day - stopped my nausea in its tracks but did think it could be a dangerous cureWink

WantToGoingTo · 23/12/2014 09:36

number I have had a fry up 3 days running but nausea completely vanished and appetite back - link? Wink but still lost 4.5lbs so not worried just yet Grin

Final plans today and tomorrow as we are hosting for 12 at Xmas for first time eek! Excited about announcements though :) it is such a relief once people know! Been having nightmares about telling work though...

Good luck today fleur! Let us know how you get on

10 weeks on Boxing Day then officially bean is a foetus!

9+4

Number3cometome · 23/12/2014 09:40

Want I got a Mcdonalds breakfast, and it's not a small one Blush

My colleagues are looking at me like 'fat cow'

I am 10 weeks the day after Boxing day according to my scan (11 weeks according to my dates)

So annoying I was put back a week, but does tie in well with school holidays Grin

I was supposed to be going to the Grand Prix in May but I will be 29 weeks by then, with my high BP I don't think it will be wise to fly.
I've not booked flights yet, but have booked the hotel. Thinking I may cancel now.

Naturegirl82 · 23/12/2014 10:11

So I've got an ear and throat infection. Been given antibiotics so hopefully they work quickly.

Can't remember who said about the 40 degree temp but that's what I was worried about. My temp was 39 after paracetamol so don't know what it was before but I felt awful. Dh and I were meant to be cleaning the house today ready for Xmas but that won't be happening now. And dd1 has just thrown up twice so I really hope she isn't coming down with something as well.

Zampa · 23/12/2014 10:31

That was me Nature. Glad you're on something stronger than paracetamol now.

Definitely no cleaning! Rest, rest, rest.

Naturegirl82 · 23/12/2014 10:39

Definitely resting, I'm back in bed and Dh is taking dd1 over to her Grans. He will get some cleaning done but we don't have ppl coming over until the 28th so it can definitely wait.

Number3cometome · 23/12/2014 10:41

Nature you poor thing!! I hope you are ok Sad x

Butler4 · 23/12/2014 11:08

12 week scan this morning and dated 12+4 instead of 11+6. New due date 3rd July. All went well and so happy. Can finally relax and enjoy it now.

smallgreenbanana · 23/12/2014 11:08

leela5 I know what you mean. I am beginning to think I will never feel well again in my life. I've forgotten what it feels like to have energy and feel well, not sick, not in pain!

In other news, decided to make some jam tarts to take to my DH's family for Christmas, as DH and I don't really like mince pies. I made twice as much sweet short crust pastry as I need, so leftovers for a whole treacle tart as well! Grin

broodylicious · 23/12/2014 11:14

That was my thinking want - been so sick in the last nine weeks and I know I'm lighter because of it (despite a clear bump!) that I'm not going to beat myself up about eating something yummy. Hardly the worst thing I could've eaten anyway - not on the nhs banned foods listWink

Number3cometome · 23/12/2014 11:17

Anyone else get a racing heart whilst pregnant, or it feels like it is beating extra hard?

It may well be my changed from beta to alpha blockers but it is annoying me!!

It's the nausea that does me in, the constant needing to eat to not feel sick!

Am I the only one who was put a full week back on my scan?

My next scan is not until 15th Jan, that's nearly 4 3 1/2 weeks

blubs

misseskimo · 23/12/2014 11:24

Great news butler

joy did you sleep any better last night? I must admit, sods law I couldn't get comfortable last night and ended up being awake really late again, only woke up about 30mins ago Blush

number I get the racing heart every now and again. Dr told me it's my anxiety and stress levels are too high, which is one of the reasons whey've signed me off, to try and "relax"

Butler4 · 23/12/2014 11:36

Just had a call from my brother to say my niece who I saw on Sunday has chicken pox and they are meant to be coming for Xmas! Phoned gp now and they asked me to head in for a blood test to check! That wl take the fun out of the scan excitement then!

WantToGoingTo · 23/12/2014 11:43

nature rest up and hope you start to feel better soon

number I get racing heart too apparently it's normal in pregnancy, though I do get anxiety from time to time so could also be linked with that :S

Feeling v dizzy and light headed atm, think I have overdone it helping DH to bring pil Xmas tree inside. Now watching him do the lights with my bil while I feel sorry for myself!

JoY007 · 23/12/2014 12:20

Hello All.

Thanks miss for the suggestion the pillow in btw legs and sleeping in foetal position worked, I had a much better night, thank you xx.

Off to physio now, hoping she would wave a magical wand to stop the pain Smile.

How is everyone today? x

JoY007 · 23/12/2014 12:21

Oh dear miss just saw you post after I sent mine. Poor you, hope you are feeling better now?

Number3cometome · 23/12/2014 12:24

Butler4

What do they check on the blood test?

My son had chicken pox when I was preg with DD, my doc said it was absolutely fine and not a worry at all x

broodylicious · 23/12/2014 12:37

Yes number, I get racing heart moments too. Few and far between but never nice. Think if it happened often, I'd be seeing the GP.

The only time ever I have nearly fainted was at 4dpo and that's the first time I thought I could've been pg. v v scary. Take it easy want, leave the sorting to the boysSmile

Littledragon13 · 23/12/2014 12:39

Is anyone beginning to see a bump yet?

I occasionally look a bit bloated but this is down to gas and I weigh nearly a stone less than before I was pregnant, is this normal?

I'm 12 weeks tomorrow

broodylicious · 23/12/2014 12:45

dragon, I'm only 9+5 but I have a very definite bump. This will be my second though and it's apparently quite common to show earlier. Just trying to hide it until we've had our 12 week scan (12+6 to be exact!) then I can start telling everyone!

Number3cometome · 23/12/2014 12:50

I've got a bump. OH made me show him yesterday (I was being shy)

This is DC3 so I guess it is inevitable.
