New thread, as the other one was nearly full! Can someone please post the stats page, as I'm useless with things like that!

miss oh dear, can you cook some of the food today, to relieve the freezer?

naty1 · 20/12/2014 13:00

Mat cert exemption through today, yay. Esp as ive already been ticking box to say i have a valid one, just hoping they all fall in the backdated time. I think though as it would have been thyroid meds, as that should give me an exemption anyway it should be fine.

DD headbutted my crotch yesterday, awww. Causing some pain later walking.

Miss- thats rude of them not to come. Are you not seeing them again over xmas to do the announcement.

Fleurchamp · 20/12/2014 13:04

pip I feel the same today, absolutely no symptoms. It makes me nervous!

MisterSafetyCatchIsNotOn · 20/12/2014 13:19

Miss that is very rude of your ILs! Surely they could still come. Hope you can find someone to eat all that food!

Just had my scan and saw a lovely wriggly baby, all looks great and they've dated me at 11+4 which is further on than I expected. However this means my due date is DS's birthday Confused

Pipbin · 20/12/2014 13:20

Good news about the scan Mister. Babies never arrive on their due dates anyway!

StoneBaby · 20/12/2014 13:50

Got my scan letter on this morning post. 6th January.

mister great news

misspoor you

MisterSafetyCatchIsNotOn · 20/12/2014 13:54

Good that you finally got your date Stone although it's a bit of a wait still.

Pipbin DS was born on his due date! But I think twice in a row is highly unlikely so hopefully we'll avoid them having the same birthday, although it would be convenient for birthday parties Smile

BadIdeaBear · 20/12/2014 14:44

Scan date twins, Stone - mine's at 4.05pm on 6th! Very precise time, I thought. What's the chances of them still running on time by then?!

Number3cometome · 20/12/2014 14:46

mister my ds was born on his due date too! Dd was 2 weeks early as I developed pre-eclampsia but I am sure she would have been early anyway as I was getting pains.

misseskimo · 20/12/2014 15:36

No I don't have anyone nearby to ask. DH has decided to just cook the chicken and have in sandwiches for a few days. The rest I'll have to just hope doesn't go off. It's just typical of my in laws tbh. Just proven DH right yet again that they care more about his Dsis which is upsetting.

I've had back and stomach aches all day and now just found blood when wiping... I'm really freaked out, don't know if somethings wrong or the stress from the last 24hrs has done something. Rang EPU, they've booked me in for a scan Monday, but said although I'm welcome to come down to be checked over, their really really busy today so would be a long wait. So I'm waiting on a call back from my normal Dr's to see what they advise me to do. Just so numb atm. Nurse told me to take paracetamol but I'm paranoid about taking too much Sad

MisterSafetyCatchIsNotOn · 20/12/2014 15:45

miss Flowers, sounds like you need to take it easy so maybe it's not a bad thing plans have changed. Put your feet up with a hot water bottle for the aches and get DH to look after you. Hopefully all will be fine and you just need to rest up.

luckythirteen · 20/12/2014 16:02

Mister great news about your scan!

misseskimo Seconding what Mister said, sounds like you'd be better off getting some rest this weekend. Keeping my fingers crossed for you that all will be fine.

Had my booking appointment today, all fine and now awaiting letter for consultant appointment at 16 weeks!

12+2/12+1 by ultrasound

JoY007 · 20/12/2014 16:37

Take it easy misseskimo hope it's nothing to worry about, fx.

Threeplus1 · 20/12/2014 17:36

It's probably a blessing in disguise your in laws aren't coming misseskimo Take the opportunity to relax (easier said than done I know!) and take care of yourself like others have said. If you are not filling pads it's quite likely nothing too serious.

Fx for you Flowers

Tiptoeshoes · 20/12/2014 19:43

Hi all. Not checked in for ages, been feeling really rough with sickness.

Those of you reached 12 weeks, please tell me the sickness suddenly disappears!?!

This isn't my first but I can't remember when I started feeling better?

My scan date is the 6th January too, a couple of others below said they have one then. Can't wait!! Although we've told lots of people, can't really hide it when I'm feeling also sicky.

10.3

Pipbin · 20/12/2014 19:54

Sounds like you've got a good EPU there Miss. Hopefully it's nothing.

misseskimo · 20/12/2014 20:36

Thanks all. Yes so far they've been really helpful. Though I feel guilty for having 3 scans, was embarrassing enough having the second and the same sonographer asking why I was there again, let alone a 3rd time Blush just hoping it's all worry for nothing.

DH used up some of the food to make me a lovely roast dinner, and has been making me drinks and hot water bottles to help relieve some of the aches. Got a Dr's apt. For tomorrow afternoon, though I don't know what they'll do Hmm

TallGiraffes · 21/12/2014 08:27

How are you this morning eskimo? Don't worry about having lots of scans, I think I had 12 in my last pregnancy!

Number3cometome · 21/12/2014 09:01

Morning, Eskimo hope you're ok?

I've got the midwife coming at 10am!

purpleleaf · 21/12/2014 09:27

Looking for some advice, did for the 1st time since BFP this morning and have went to the toilet afterward and when i wiped there was a lot of red blood, wiped a few times and more kept appearing but did get less, have put on a pad to see how much keeps going, should I call the mw?

Pipbin · 21/12/2014 09:28

The midwife comes to you, Number, on a Sunday?

purpleleaf · 21/12/2014 09:28

Sorry I meant to put dtd on my post for 1st time this morning

JoY007 · 21/12/2014 09:44

Hi purpleleaf its normal. The cervix is very vascularised, apparently normal for some bleeding after dtd.
Try not to worry Smile

JoY007 · 21/12/2014 09:54

hi purpleleaf this is from a book I have pregnancy book for first trimester Smile

Because your cervix is more heavily vascularized due to the increase in blood flow to your pelvis, it is more likely to bleed after sex. Unless there is heavy bleeding, or you see any clots larger than a dime, there is no cause for concern.

purpleleaf · 21/12/2014 09:58

Thank you JoY007 have been googling aswell and that seems to be what everywhere is saying, was just quite freaked out as it looked like quite a lot of blood but it did seem to stop
