New thread, as the other one was nearly full! Can someone please post the stats page, as I'm useless with things like that!

virtual I'm so sorry for your loss, my thoughts are with you and your dh.

arête lovely to see you, hope your over the worst of the sickness. It's lovely to be sharing the journey with other ttc bus passengers :)

The heating is playing up in my office building so i'm absolutely sweltering, which isn't helping with the nausea. Nipped out to the sandwich shop for a lovely bit of fresh air and wolfed down an egg mayo sandwich, it was heavenly! I haven't actually been sick yet, I just get waves of feeling a bit sick (mostly that sickly hunger type feeling) - I'm dreading the sickness finally arriving on Christmas day, which would be just my luck. I'm pretty much constantly ravenous but when I have a plate of food infront of me I often can't finish it (probs because I keep needing to snack). I'm still feeling pretty exhausted too - fell asleep on sofa at 21:00 last night Xmas Blush.

We're meant to be having my mum and dad to stay for Christmas, but Mum is currently in bed on antibiotics, diagnosed with the flu. My flu jab isn't booked until 30th Dec. If Mum's feeling well enough to travel for Christmas, will she be past being contagious? Does anyone have any experience?

Number3cometome · 18/12/2014 12:41

I just gorged myself on choc cake. Someone needs to wire my jaw shut.

naty1 · 18/12/2014 12:45

Piles misery :(
Despite prunes yesterday. So today tiny bit of lactulose (last time 10ml was too much!). Fybogel, brown bread and water.

And germaloids.
Hopefully this goes away not another 30wks.

smallgreenbanana · 18/12/2014 12:50

ohlordy According to the flu leaflet I've got, people can be infectious up to 7 days after becoming sick.

StoneBaby · 18/12/2014 12:51

naty ouch. Got them too

smallgreenbanana · 18/12/2014 12:53

ohlordy Has your dad had a flu shot? Flu is contagious within 6 feet, apparently. You could try getting an earlier appointment for your flu shot? My surgery has walk-in appointments.

WantToGoingTo · 18/12/2014 12:56

naty ooowwww :( I have an anal fissure would you believe. Not pleasant but I have to say if rather that than piles! Piles are nasty. I had one before I was pg! Constipation isn't nice though - started off as the opposite a few weeks ago but definitely got it now. Such a pain and I eat so much fruit and veg!

Eek only 1 more hour til mw appt... Can't concentrate on work!

BadIdeaBear · 18/12/2014 13:08

Oh no, I feel horrible now. My sex drive has plummeted. I feel like I'm being really awful to DH who's really being v kind altogether about it.

Gonna give dtd a go tonight though... but it feels a bit 'brace yourself' rather than, you know, looking forward to it! Maybe it'll be lovely...!

JoY007 · 18/12/2014 13:09

Hi Ladies, - my hip got slightly better, anyone having lower abdominal pain! 11weeks today. My tummy seems to have popped out.

Number3cometome · 18/12/2014 13:11

BadIdeaBear Don't feel bad!

The only thing I would say is try - my bestie and her OH held off for a while, and a while turned in to the whole pregnancy. I think the fear of then doing it has put her off even more and both have ended up a bit unhappy with the situation.

That being said, if you feel uncomfortable then don't do it, it's supposed to feel good Smile

Number3cometome · 18/12/2014 13:11

Booked a massage at lunchtime and now shitting myself as I decided to google like a fucking twat

Why did I do that? what if they turn me away? I've already paid!!

ohlordyplordy · 18/12/2014 13:12

Thanks small looks like she will be just about clear then.
Both mum and dad had jab but mum's hasn't worked. Dad's just getting over a heart bypass so praying he's fully protected.

StoneBaby · 18/12/2014 13:12

Haha!!! I'm really need a wee and I'm watching an exam. I can't leave the room. I hope I'm not going to sneeze Blush

ohlordyplordy · 18/12/2014 13:15

want good luck!
number if you tell them you're pg they should be able to tailor it and avoid certain zones.

JoY007 · 18/12/2014 13:20

Number you should be fine, all they need to do is avoid certain areas and also reduce intensity, I would have thought.

BadIdeaBear · 18/12/2014 13:22

oh bless ya number3 that's exactly what I've been thinking. There's really no reason not to dtd and I really don't want to do what your friend has done... to either me or DH.

I think it's just about finding the balance between new maternal emotions and hehe sex goddess...! It's just sort of felt a bit wrong but think will go for sweet and romantic approach and hope i get into it! I feel I've gone a bit TMI on folk here, but then we're always talking about poo and wee so...

number I'm sure they'll be able to do a work around on your massage and hope you find whatever they do feels great!

JoY007 · 18/12/2014 13:42

We are not dtd, but definitely doing the monica lewinsky act Wink. I was ok about DTD but lately I am as concerned as DP and most times not even in the mood, like last night I felt feverish, similar symptom to when I discovered I was pregnant.

I heard you feel up to it after 1st trimester, in fact I hear your sd increases, not long to go, better tell those boys to prepare for the next couple of weeks Grin

BadIdeaBear · 18/12/2014 13:57

hehehe cool yeah, I've actually been OK on that too!

We've got some good euphemisms going today what with 'happy conclusions' and 'monica lewinsky acts'!

itsnotthatdeep · 18/12/2014 13:59

Omg regards DTD we were at it like mad this weekend my sd has gone through the roofGrinGrinGrin

It's so good to feel normal again

Still not talking to my mum after Monday's moaning Sad

Otherwise I'm counting the days down to the scan on the 29th GrinGrinGrin

Number3cometome · 18/12/2014 15:06

We are not dtd, but definitely doing the monica lewinsky act
hahahahahahaha!! OMG same in my house, OH is very happy Wink

He says I have turned into a perv Blush

Massage was lovely, I told her and she just used a plain oil and did a scrub (back only). I fell asleep haha.

JoY007 · 18/12/2014 15:21

ha ha ha my friends and I coined the word from uni when girls will say things like we did not dtd, so we responded by saying but you indulged in monica lewsinky acts Grin

ignominious · 18/12/2014 15:22

I'm 10+4 and have a v slight bump now (dc2, pg3). Think this is normal? DH says it's fat Angry

Number3cometome · 18/12/2014 15:26

ig it's normal!

Mine is not very slight, it's pretty big!

smallgreenbanana · 18/12/2014 15:27

Hope no-one feels bad they are not dtd. Mostly I don't feel like it (although DH pesters, bless him) but when we do it is very nice since bfp - combination of psychological and physical I think.

ignominious · 18/12/2014 15:47

Number 3 thanks I'll make him sleep on the sofa then Grin
