oh no tanny, I feel for you!

I only tried to "work from home" like that once and it was impossible!!! My work actually kind of know and make you take a day off for that... they are great with working from home for real for appointments, deliveries but not with the child there!!

CBeebies app on the tablet bought me some time, although when she did the Alphablocks game she kept asking for my help naturally...

based on my eldest, 2 isn't as bad as 3 was, and he's still quite a bit that way at 4...

but they're all different. I hope to goodness that his little brother will be less hassle at 3 than he can be at 2!

and I'd get her a leappad or something TinyTear - they both play with it, you know they can't access anything you'd rather they didn't, and it keeps them out of the way when I need to do something. Plus I don't panic as much when they drop it as I do when it's my tablet!

I wish he'd learn to say "go away" though.. or anything much, really. He hardly speaks yet :(

TinyTear · 06/01/2015 19:47

My DH is an IT person.. He just got a new nexus 9 so DD uses the old nexus 7 and he has set up some.security measures, I think...

So no grubby fingers in his proper tablet

I saw a consultant at 16 weeks but she just a scan, no blood pressure or anything. Today was fine. BP is very low but I knew that as I go dizzy if I stand still for 5 minutes!
Heard the heart beat too which was nice :)

Glad it went ok shetland and you got to hear the heartbeat.

I've got low blood pressure too, it's always slightly low but pregnancy has made it worse. I'm now banned from having a bath as I pass out every time Confused

Shetland pleased you had a good appt, always lovely to hear a heartbeat.

My blood pressure is usually really low, but in pregnancy it rises, which is lovely! For a few months I don't get dizzy when I stand up! Its now a stonkingly average 120/85 Grin

I'm on my nexus 7 now, wouldn't be without it...

tannyLoo · 06/01/2015 21:56

Babies sorry, cross posts, so sorry for your loss. It is tough dealing with grief in your current state, but I know you will feel relieved to have been there when he went.

smilingthroughgrittedteeth · 07/01/2015 11:42

Ok first appointment of the day done.

Midwife appointment, bump measured and heard his heartbeat, blood pressure low but ok and now got to go every 2 weeks

TinyTear · 07/01/2015 11:56

I fully expect to go to two weekly appointments soon as I think my GTT will be positive :-(

OP posts:
smilingthroughgrittedteeth · 07/01/2015 12:07

I haven't had the results of my GTT yet I think it's just every 2 weeks because I'm about to hit 30 weeks so it's 2 weeks until I'm 36 weeks then weekly.

Shetland · 07/01/2015 12:58

So sorry babiecakes Thanks

LondonSuperTrooper · 07/01/2015 15:16

Thanks for the holiday recommendations Tea

Babie so sorry for your loss.

Shetland glad your midwife appointment went well.

My blood pressure is absolutely normal but it's meaningless as last time round it was fine & then I developed pre-eclampsia :(

Good luck to those waiting for the GTT results. I have my test at the end of the month.

Just had my scan, all looking good my cervix is still long and strong enough to support the baby so I won't need any more extra scans.

They tried to do a 3d scan but the little sod wouldn't stay still so they just looked blurry, then when he decided to stay still he put his hands over his face.

TinyTear · 07/01/2015 16:02

stubborn child smiling but glad all is looking ok!

OP posts:
smilingthroughgrittedteeth · 07/01/2015 19:19

DP said he's like me, personally I think he's like his father, hyperactive!

He's also still breech so am keeping everything crossed that he will turn but he seems comfortable in the position he's in and has been the same in every scan.
