Welcome, welcome, welcome to the 17th grads thread... celebrating the success of Just Shagging in getting us viroids upduffed!

For those that don't know, a 'viroid' is from the original JSing thread 1, where someone was trying to type ladies (in reference to all the JSing ladies), but their phone decided to call us all viroids instead!

The name stuck and we've been the JSing viroids ever since.

The thread we have graduated from is here in its 33rd outing. WARNING: they're all a bit kerazy not to mention randy!

There is also a Just Mumming thread in postnatal clubs here for once your babies come along, or to keep up with the graduated graduates! It's a bit quiet at the moment, but with all these upduffed viroids hopefully it won't be for long!

There is also a private facebook group (so it doesn't give the game away in your news feed!)... if you want to join to see photos of new babies etc, just ask in-thread!

So, roll call below please, viroids!

I'm sooo hungry! Just demolished a big chunk of cheese cos it's one of the few things (totally carb free) that I can eat without having to do an extra injection half an hour in advance. Waiting half an hour doesn't work when this hungry!!

teejayem · 11/12/2014 14:15

My family (Mumma's side) are all welsh.. I love Angharad and Delyth, but I have pretty zero chance of wangling those. :(

My lovely colleagues have bought me a kinder egg and one of 'those' hot chocolates.. I clearly have a 'look'..

I used to work in an Essex town that is mercilessly laughed at for it's commoness all the time (I'm from essex so am allowed to be snobby.. ;)) .. my defining moment there was hearing a mum run after her little girl shouting her name for her not to run in and out of shop doorways... the little girl was called Disney.

willywallace · 11/12/2014 14:29

How do you pronounce that Pis?

Haha to Disney.

Ralph! La! I remember waiting until I was 12 to be allowed to take that book out of the library. Judy Blume crossed a few boundaries with that one.

Fuck, the arse rain has suddenly returned Sad .

Pisghetti · 11/12/2014 14:36

Ah-th (soft as in 'rather' as opposed to 'thatch') - yen - ah (happy to be corrected by the Welsh speakers!)

Pisghetti · 11/12/2014 14:40

I am now on the train out of London having managed to avoid one of 'those' hot chocolates Grin we'll gloss over the two I had since arriving.....

Mmmm cheese.....

Hope your bottom starts behaving soon Wil - and it's not wee Jobbie coming early Wink

teejayem · 11/12/2014 14:49

Ralph poking our of blue pajama bottoms... shudder

I recall many pages of the school library copy of that book being well thumbed.

Leela5 · 11/12/2014 15:05

Raaaaaah! So annoyed!!! Just walked all the way from station into town to buy a maternity bra because my back hurts and boobs are huge. Went into m&s (the only option for lingerie in our town) and the bloody bra fitter went home at 2! Wtf! Why do you have a fucking lingerie dept and not have a bra fitter!!

I've just huffed my way back down stairs and am sulking at bus stop now waiting to get same frigging bus I could've got from station

Leela5 · 11/12/2014 15:17

On bus...still huffing...

Need to man up and get over myself

Pisghetti · 11/12/2014 15:26

Do you have a mothercare in town La? I got fitted for mat bras there. Sadly they're already a bit tight on the band now - my ribs must be opening Shock

Just woke myself up on the train snoring. Shamer!

freshstart4us · 11/12/2014 15:38

la right now is the time in your life when you are LEAST required to man up. Wink

Pis were you drooling too? All down the window or perhaps on the headrest? Oh the glamour!!! LOL

Leela5 · 11/12/2014 15:39

Nope - we have about 100 artisan coffee and cupcake cafes and 5 shops selling only candles but, despite this being yummy mummy district, Mothercare shut up shop - we have only M&S.

Fleurchamp · 11/12/2014 16:12

tee I know of a child called Disney. I am hoping it is the same one.....

teejayem · 11/12/2014 16:40

I think I have a cold coming. That or I have interviewed too many people today, I've got the croaky Madge from neighbours voice.

Tonight calls for a lush bath bomb I think. My 15 week treat!

TheBooMonster · 11/12/2014 16:52

wil I think there's only one version... I tried my best to understand the point of Minecraft but I've come to the conclusion there is none at all :/

min Hope today went as well as it could!

fresh I have a friend who'd thing BAM were incredible initials! I have to admit I think they're pretty cool in a 'loosely esoteric' kind of way... The founder of the Wicca mystery tradition / religion was a gentleman called Gerald Gardener and the first version of the 'Book of Shadows' is the 'Book of Arte Magic' or BAM for short. But I'm just showing my weirdness now, so I'll shut up :p

tee Lyra is lovely!

pis I'm quite unsure about Athena, I think maybe as a middle name it would be cool (but we've just heard about a family friend who's given their child an otherwise normal name with one of their middle names being Venus and it sticks out like a sore thumb!) I'd be quite hesitant about using it as a first name though...

la Vivienne was on my list, it didn't make it past DH though Because I have a book by someone called Vivienne Crowley and he said "Whilst you're at it why not Aleister (Crowley)" in his most judgey voice...

wil I love Autumn, I tried to sneak Summer onto the list of middle names but it was one of the many things that didn't make it past DH

Think I'm all caught up now! Spent the past four days desperately tidying the house because we had someone coming to value it and it absolutely had to be tidy and he had to be able to reach every single wall... He was here for about three minutes, barely popped his head round each door and then left. we've not changed any room sizes or anything so he can use the measurements from the previous valuation and he didn't need to make lists of furnishings and white goods because we're not actually looking at selling it... I feel entirely deflated at having bothered! DH is going to be in the doghouse for making me manically clean (I even cleaned the bloody windows and it was pretty much dark before he got here!!) for no good reason... he can deal with dinner!

RPopz · 11/12/2014 16:58

Could be legitimate Toni's chat - apparently they start early... just not strong enough to feel usually!

Judy Blume Forever! Blast from the past! Seem to remember our school library copy being pretty well thumbed too Grin Primary school though now I come to think of it!! Shock

Dulce I did NOT have you down as a cockney.... Hmm

Wil if you give your arse rain to La then everyone's happy? Grin

I would kill for a bath but I've been avoiding them as I'd read it's not a good idea in first tri. Is that true?

Bam is a Scottish word for chav/radge so that did make me chuckle. If we named ours Marie or Marianne (2 names I love), initials would be MAW. Can't do that to a Scottish child :(

Better than BAW though, he'd be 'bawbag' his whole life!

teejayem · 11/12/2014 17:19

Not sure la - the first few weeks I lived in the bath to try and ease the AF type pains that I kept getting. Everything seemed fine tho...my MW said that the recommendations around not getting in really hot baths weren't necessarily because you'd slow cook your baby, but you were more likely to faint if you got too hot and crack your head on the sink...
They are an absolute godsend for my back at the moment, our bath doesn't hold the heat that well anyway so it's hard to get it to scalding temps.

ZylaB · 11/12/2014 17:32

la I thought baths were ok as long as you don't have them too hot?

ZylaB · 11/12/2014 17:45

la just seen your AIBU post, just keep reminding yourself that you're clearly a way better person than she is, and you'll be over your sicky feeling when baby is here, but she'll always be a stupid ignorant bitch that people hate...then feel smug for being you and not her Grin

Leela5 · 11/12/2014 17:50

:) honestly I was about 2 secs from running after her and decking her one! Only the thought of my baby being born in prison stopped me...

TheBooMonster · 11/12/2014 18:21

la what a bitch! perhaps pour cold coffee down her back next time you see her, someone that rude isn't going to be any quieter or polite when she next does it!!

Oh there's a thread on AIBU from four years ago that seemingly never had any replies it has been well and truly resurrected!

Leela5 · 11/12/2014 18:24

Which one boo?

I love zombie threads!

Also live a good parking AIBU

Have you seen the one about the tailgating driver who can't understand why the driver in front got annoyed?

RPopz · 11/12/2014 18:37

What's your AIBU La?? Too scared to go in there nowadays Grin

Baths are fine as long as it's not boiling hot and you're not sat in there for hours...

Pisghetti · 11/12/2014 18:47

Have some patience Grin

Leela5 · 11/12/2014 18:49

Hee hee - I just put it up for a laugh. Some stupid bint shoved me at a station this morning and I thought of all the right and cutting retorts after she'd gone.

Of course there are always folk who don't read the OP. I'm being told that that's just London and people can act like dicks because it's 'London'

That's fine. I'm from Edinburgh so that makes it ok for me to call them a cunt - because I'm from Edinburgh, ya ken?
