Had a rather un-original attempt at a new name! Hop across ladies!

Hoping the stats link works...

Exactly virtual!! I'm making an advent calendar for dd made of Christmassy fabric I bought at the market yesterday. Then I've made felt Christmas trees, a hanging dec for the hall window and paper chains! I do love it all though. Plus I make soaps as a business on the side so doing those as well. What have you been making?

VirtualPointyHat · 30/11/2014 18:23

I am making a quilt :S

Have finished the front today, but have to stop myself from quilting it now as am in agony! I bought a new sewing machine in a moment of black friday madness, and it is so lovely!

I also gave half my books to charity and have spring cleaned the kitchen, the lounge and the rabbit shed.

Sadly have not finished any of my xmas craft projects, keep being distracted by baby things.

Its not just me though, DH made banana bread Grin

broodylicious · 30/11/2014 18:38

Wowsers! Sounds fab! I've only got a small sewing machine but I do love the feeling of using itSmile
I'm doing Christmas crafty bits because we've just had a whole rewire so dust and dirt everywhere and now waiting for the new kitchen to arrive and French doors to be installed so I can't do much around the house. It'll look great when it's all done but I'm getting mucho annoyed with the dust.

StoneBaby · 30/11/2014 18:48

Lots of cramps this afternoon. Very weird as they did stop about a week ago but seem to come back with a revenge today. a bit worried tho

StoneBaby · 30/11/2014 18:51

Did an Advent calendar last year and it is hanged waiting for tomorrow. Also made a few Christmas decorations this year. Still got a few to make! Pinterest is a great source of ideas/tutorials for them Grin

Leela5 · 30/11/2014 18:54

I've got loads of cramps today and I'm also worried but I've been told it's normal. It's like someone is twisting my womb, occasionally stabbing me in the ovary. Owwww

BadIdeaBear · 30/11/2014 18:59

Oooh ow Leela hope that twisty pain subsides.

Great news sarky - lovely to log on and see that post just now!

Seems lots of us have been all Christmassy crafty today - I've been making Christmas cards with my DSCs - about 40 of them. I made more mess with the acrylic paint than they did in the end!

BadIdeaBear · 30/11/2014 19:00

40 cards, not 40 DSCs!

headlesschicken247 · 30/11/2014 19:09

Really annoyed atm. Todays plan was to get the tree up and decorated. Went and bought a new tree and it looks a disaster and the lights didn't work. Now just ordering one and it will be a week before it arrives - it had better be good when it does arrive. All my plans for this evening are up the swanny and I feel like could burst into tears. Grrrrrr. know it's early but we're actually away for Xmas so i wanted to get the full benefit.

Hopefully the 5-7 days for delivery is an over estimate and we can get s decorated next weekend

Sarkymare · 30/11/2014 19:36

Ooh it's good to be back in my own home. I returned to find DS's last bits for Christmas delivered so that's all one last thing to worry about.

I've been really nauseous today but luckily lemon and lime flavoured water seems to be helping (24 bottles for £10 at Costco if your Interested)

Just the bedtime routine to go and I can have a nice relaxing bath. Bliss!

broodylicious · 30/11/2014 20:02

Pleased you're back home now sarky. Enjoy your bath later. Dd is sleepy but not quite dropping off so sat by her bed and looking at Pinterest, mn, eBay, etsy, wordament sending calming vibes to her little body.... Does she not realise it's X factor now?!Wink

UltimateDuck · 30/11/2014 20:18

Evening ladies. So happy everything is well with you and your little bean Sarky.

I'm having a really small amount of bleeding. It was brown when i wiped today but now this evening it has taken a reddish tinge. I'm home alone with my DD asleep upstairs and getting worried. DP will be home from work soon, but in the mean time can i ask what people think?

I'm inclined to wait and see if it gets heavier or stops overnight as there isn't much point in doing anything tonight.

I'm only 5+5 Sad

TouchPauseEngage · 30/11/2014 20:18

Evening all. Glad to hear your good news sarky.

This morning was dreadful. DH gave Me a talking to for being such a cowbag (he's right) and then I just couldn't stop sobbing. I even cried walking the dog! Totally and utterly hormonal and mad.

I feel totally fine now and have spent the afternoon making pom poms for a garland. Poor DH is utterly bewildered Grin

TouchPauseEngage · 30/11/2014 20:21

Sorry Duck Missed your post.

I know it's hard but if it's only a small amount try not to worry and get to EPU tomorrow for reassurance.
I had this at about your stage. I'm 9+2 now

broodylicious · 30/11/2014 20:24

Eh up duck (I'm a midlander, forgive the opportunity to use our colloquialisms). I think you're right, wait to see how tonight pans out and if there's still some bleeding tomorrow, call your epu and see what they suggest. Got everything crossed for you x

StoneBaby · 30/11/2014 20:33

I need reassurance too. No blood but so much cramps. I've already decided that if I wake up with some I would call sick and go to the gp. My mind goes from mc, etopic or urinary infection! Now in bed having take some paracetamol.

Duck fx

TouchPauseEngage · 30/11/2014 20:38

FX for you too stone. I'm having baaaad stabbing/shooting pains today. I'm just trying to ignore it and remind myself that it is normal x

Leela5 · 30/11/2014 20:53

Oh god me too. I was wondering whether to phone mw in morning but if you're all getting them? Achy, crampy, stabby

Sarkymare · 30/11/2014 21:26

Hello duck, that's exactly what I had. I panicked so much and raced to urgent care only to find out that because it was brown it wasn't really anything to worry about. I panicked again yesterday when it turned slightly red but it returned to brown this morning and then of course I had good news at my scan.

If you are really worried then go to EPU. But if you can, try to wait until tomorrow and see how the bleeding is. In hindsight this is what I would do now. as the amount I was bleeding did decrease quite a bit over night.

Fx for you x

Sarkymare · 30/11/2014 21:31

Broody you beat be to it!! (Ex midlander here)

UltimateDuck · 30/11/2014 22:23

Thanks Sarky and everyone else. I think I'll go to the gp tomorrow. I'm wondering if it might be a uti and apparently if you don't get them treated it can lead to mc.

Hope everyine else is feeling good and ready for a new week. We can all crack open our advent calendars tomorrow!

misseskimo · 30/11/2014 22:46

Sorry not been feeling great today, and then my sister came over, so not had a chance to get online!

sarky awesome news! Bet thats a huge relief off your mind! I have my scan in the morning so fx I get positive results too!

My nausea is getting worse and worse this last few days, and making me so light-headed. I've also completely lost my appetite, and the slightest bit of food makes me feel uncomfortably stuffed Sad not to mention that I'm so bloated I can't fit into hardly any of my bottoms without discomfort or huge bump on show... All being well, DH has suggested a shop for maternity leggings/trousers next weekend, I really didn't want to be buying stuff this early on but I'm running out of options! Anyone else got this problem?

miss yep. I had to order maternity jeans and work trousers from ASOS when I was 8wks. They are so bloody comfy!

broodylicious · 01/12/2014 07:26

Good luck today miss! I was thinking I'd find my maternity jeans soon as my existing ones are becoming so uncomfortable already (only 6+5 and have quite a noticeable bump - to me anyway!) I prefer the over bump type but it's a personal choice. V exciting now we are getting to this point, ladies!

TouchPauseEngage · 01/12/2014 07:34

broody as soon as I put them on DH said 'your never going to wear normal jeans again are you' because they looked so comfy! I'm looking forward to not having to hide the bump! Hoping I get scan date through today, and DH is hoping it's before he breaks up so he can have the morning off work Grin
