Had a rather un-original attempt at a new name! Hop across ladies!

Hoping the stats link works...

joy I'm getting it in back and hip. Ligaments stretching. Quite uncomfortable.

Today I feel knackered and like barfing. Didn't sleep very well. Ugh

itsnotthatdeep · 03/12/2014 08:29

I'm another one who's not sleeping great, I'm in bed at 8 and up at 5/6/7 because I need the loo so tiring.

cats are being rehomed today I'm so sad Sad its for the best but still its going to be a long day

I'm still annoyed at the MW but trying not to let it bother me. Thanks for all the comments it made me feel better.

glad everyones settling down oh and btw my EDD is 2/7 now who ever does the stats and I have no desktop access to sort it (sorry)

Overtiredbackagain · 03/12/2014 08:29

Morning all. Had booking in yesterday. Mw was lovely and said I am very low risk pregnancy, although I am still very anxious for DS tests Hmm

Because I am 12 weeks on Xmas eve, she said scan will probably be between Xmas and new year, so I am going to have to explain to work since we are skeleton staff that week and only time I am working is the Monday and Tuesday, so depending on time of appointment I will have to work from home.

Slowly sinking in that OMG I'm going to be a mum of 3 Shock

JoY007 · 03/12/2014 08:51

Thanks Ladies, it is so uncomfortable, woke up this morning and struggled to move. Decided to work from home becuase I am seeing GP at 9.20, just for reassurance and suggestions to ease pain. I find its better after a warm shower and moving around.

overtired i am 12 weeks on xmas eve as well, my scan is on 29th. Smile

Does anyone know if during the mw appt they do an internal scan for heart beat?

BTW - DP is coming with me to the mw appointment, I am now thinking maybe he should not because i don't want him to know about my previous pregs Confused is there a time that you are alone with the mw without him being there?

Pipbin · 03/12/2014 08:56

After complaining of feeling nothing I'm feeling decidedly queasy.

Overtiredbackagain · 03/12/2014 08:58

Joy You don't get to hear baby's heartbeat on the booking in appointment, if I remember correctly they do it from every appointment from the 16 week check.

MW said yesterday that they ask to see mum for at least one check on their own, they are now required by law to ask questions re domestic abuse and whether any contact ever with social services. I doubt my DP will come to MW checks as not really necessary unless he has any concerns.

Seeing MW for booking in yesterday definitely made it more real, am pretty tearful today but they are happy tears - ridiculous isn't it?! Wink

Zampa · 03/12/2014 08:58

I'm glad that the are others who've also put on weight. I've managed 5lb too at 7+6. I honestly don't think I'm eating more although I am moving around less due to nausea and tiredness.

Pippin how many weeks are you? I am 9 today and have definitely turned a corner, only feel nauseous if I leave too long in between meals so finding little and often the better option.

Am very tired though, couldn't keep my eyes open last night much to DPs amusement Grin

Number3cometome · 03/12/2014 09:01

Morning ladies, anyone getting totally random nightmares?

OH woke me up in the night and said I was yelling out like I was being attacked Shock

Probably dreaming about my doc coming at me with the blood pressure monitor

Number3 I remember having really vivid dreams with both previous pregnancies, some very naughty Wink

JoY007 · 03/12/2014 09:08

Thanks, he will not go through my notes, so not worried about that. Just concerned that the mw and doc should know my true situation. Great, already told my GP, but not sure if the notes are tranferred to mw.

WantToGoingTo · 03/12/2014 09:15

So tired this morning, up at 12, 4 and 6 to wee :( why can't my bladder just hold on a few more hours?! So tiring.

I haven't weighed myself yet... I feel huge though, probably because all the good I fancy eating at the moment is carbs covered in butter haha!

6+5

Number3cometome · 03/12/2014 09:15

Joy explain to them that you don't want your partner to know that info, or deny it if he is there then explain to the midwife later.

I have to have a low risk mental health assessment (I have previously suffered from OCD and anxiety as my ex-partner was violent)

I have asked that this not be discussed infront of current OH and she said this was fine.

misseskimo · 03/12/2014 10:28

Morning All, had an awful day yesterday, worst I've felt. Nausea, dizziness, hot flushes, pins & needles in my legs, and weird "stitch" like sensations in my stomach and sides everytime I moved. Ended up staying in bed until about 2pm drifting in and out of super weird dreaming sleep, then spent the rest of the day feeling totally out of it on the chair till DH came home and ran me a bath Sad Barely managed to eat all day either - Even the thought of food made my stomach turn.

Now have my mw apt. today, was supposed to be between 9-11am, and at 10am she rings me saying she can't make it now and can she come after clinic about 3:30pm? Luckily I told work I'd be working from home all day today, but it's still really frustrating as I'd left myself free most of the morning work-wise, and planned all my meetings for this afternoon. So after wasting an hour this morning, I now have to re-arrange everything, inc. a conference call with a colleague in the US. So that'll probably end up being late this evening into my own time Sad

Think i lost a bit because im getting too hot overnight. So burning cals then. But also with irregular cycles my hormonal imbalance, but of course no cycle now.
OH isnt coming to booking apt, my mum will watch DD although i could have taken her and kept her in pushchair

Number3cometome · 03/12/2014 10:32

Ok I am panicking.

I had a load of licorice this morning (M&S soft black licorice) then I read it is bad in pregnancy!

Sad
misseskimo · 03/12/2014 10:35

btw here is my scan pic at 8wks taken Monday. Apparently baby was curled up at the time!

Misseskimo Aww! lovely pic.

Zampa · 03/12/2014 10:48

Just told my boss (3rd person after my DP and Dad, which feels a little odd!). She seemed genuinely pleased, which was lovely.

Butler4 · 03/12/2014 11:38

Joy I have had horrible pain in bum/hip it comes and goes but randomly hurts when I walk at times. Weird!
Overtired I have also had a weird nightmare the other night I was being attacked and a man was hovering over me while I slept! Scary!
I'm also 9 weeks today and got 12 week scan on the 23rd! Can't wait. Had booking in last week, was good, 3 lots of blood taken. Still don't feel pregnant

JoY007 · 03/12/2014 11:48

yay! lovely pic miseskimo exciting!!!

number i am sure you will be fine, we are so cautious these days, which is good, the foetus/ embryo are very resistance according to a book I read, because if otherwise we humans would have gone into extinction Grin just stop taking them now you know.

Saw GP, said pain is muscular, he may refer me to epu but will decide at end of the day, maybe I will get a scan there, which will be nice. All seems well, he wanted to rule out ectopic - I hope not, not bleeding, and no pain on sides just back, guess he is just being thorough. I am now using a hot water bottle as support Smile

BTW - did you all know that we don't pay for meds Shock never got anything free from the government whoop whoop, not exacty free my GP said, I have paid for it through taxes.

WantToGoingTo · 03/12/2014 11:49

miss lovely pic! And your nails are beautiful, I am envious!!

Number3cometome · 03/12/2014 11:50

Joy woop woop! I am on BP tablets and currently pay for a prescription certificate. That will save me £11 a month Grin

No more licorice for me!

Although I did randomly help with the nausea.
