Had a rather un-original attempt at a new name! Hop across ladies!

Hoping the stats link works...

Blw is the way forward huffs - none of that pureeing business!Wink

StoneBaby · 01/12/2014 21:10

It would appear that my cramps are the way my body is telling to slow down/rest as after spending the day napping, sitting on the sofa doing nothing it has improved. Not fully gone but bearable.

Zampa · 01/12/2014 21:10

Can't believe some of you have scan dates and I'm still waiting for my booking in appointment!

Jealous!

Sarkymare · 01/12/2014 21:11

Being sent to the EPU tomorrow for (hopefully) a follow up scan due to increased bleeding. More than likely I will just have my bloods done.

This pregnancy lark ain't half a kerfuffle!

LizziTea · 01/12/2014 21:19

Sarky - so sorry it's such a saga! Thinking of you.

StoneBaby - I was just the same with my cramps last week. Had really nasty painful cramps which got worse when I'd been on the go for a while, and any time I walked or ran for the bus. The GP advised me to get more rest and to give up on walking (and under no circumstances to run for the bus!) It's been a bit of a tall order to avoid walking as I don't have a car, but I've been basically not walking for more than 5 minutes at a stretch, and sitting down in between everything I have to do, and the cramps have been way better. Hope yours ease off too, and that you can find a way to spend more time relaxing!
6+1, and apprehensively waiting for full nausea to strike - it's there in the background but I fear it's the time when it may be about to get worse!

Butler4 · 01/12/2014 21:24

Sorry to hear your news duck. Hope you are ok.

Random question: does anyone have a sore bum? As in actual bone part? My left side is painful if I move a certain way! I am actually limping sometimes then it disappears

Blueskygirl30 · 01/12/2014 21:35

I'm trying to stay away from mn at the moment so I don't get my hopes up too high but I've just been reading back

Duck I'm so sorry to hear your news

I'm 5+6 today and had a little bit of bleeding over the weekend, just a little but enough to make me worry about it. My friend is a gp and told me not to bother seeing a gp unless it got heavy. I've got no symptoms at all but have an early scan booked next Monday so not getting too excited until I know there's still something in there. Has everyone had symptoms by 6weeks?

broodylicious · 01/12/2014 21:39

Don't worry about no symptoms bluesky, everyone is completely different - even one woman can have very different pregnancies each time. I'm guessing the little blood could be arriving at the same time as you'd be due AF? I've heard of ladies having that often? Sending you positive vibes and unMNy hugs Thanks

Threeplus1 · 01/12/2014 21:53

So sorry duck Sad be kind and gentle with yourself Flowers

Fx for you sarkymare and bluesky

Blueskygirl30 · 01/12/2014 22:06

Thanks Broody it's only been 2 weeks since my last AF so not sure. I actually had a full 2-3 day AF and thought I must have missed out again but then took a test and realised I am pregnant, which is why I already have a scan booked in next week. So maybe I'm one of those people who is going to spot for the first few weeks. But it's stopping me from getting my hopes up too much, it doesn't seem real at the moment.

fattycow · 01/12/2014 22:13

Hi ladies, how is everyone?

fattycow · 01/12/2014 22:16

This was last Thursday! Grin

But listening to you ladies does make me thankful I'm not feeling sick, I feel for you.

Booking in appointment tomorrow.

Sherbet38 · 01/12/2014 22:18

Lovely picture fatty, how many weeks are you?

Pipbin · 01/12/2014 22:27

Is there anyone super clever who can get the stats sheet to work out how many weeks we all are? I'm sure it can be done but I'm not clever enough. It needs to be due date - todays date in weeks and months.

Amazing pictures Fatty How many weeks?

fattycow · 01/12/2014 22:33

I'm 9+4 according to last period, but as my cycles are a bit longer than 28 days, I'm probably at 9 weeks today. This also works with the scan, as that said 8+4 or 8+5 at the day I was 9 weeks.
I'm having another scan Thursday next week, on which they will give me a 'definite' date.

Pipbin · 01/12/2014 22:35

That is a lot of scans Fatty Can I be nosey and ask why?

Lewaney3 · 01/12/2014 22:42

Hi ladies,

This thread moves ever so fast, don't think I'll be able to keep upto date simply due to nausea stopping me from staring at screen for too long!

Very sad to hear your news duck thoughts are with youFlowers

zappy me and you both!! Feels like an age until mine!

And yes fatty lovely scan pic... Am I being a bit naive in thinking the scans would not be so clear at this stage. Blush

Currently feeling nauseous for much of the day. Eating grapes, guavas and strawberries are the only thing keeping my mind straight at minute. Also has anyone else gone off meat completely? The smell of it cooking is enough to make me want to vom Sad

fattycow · 01/12/2014 22:50

The scan last week was because it was my first appointment at the midwife's. They have a scan machine and do a scan to make sure there is something in there. Then the one next week is the scan where you can choose if you want them to check for Down's. They do the scan either way and will give you a definite date then. Then the last one is at 20 weeks.
So no more scans than you get in the UK.

Pipbin · 01/12/2014 23:40

I think that normally here you only get 12 and 20 weeks.
I'm having one at 8 because its through my IVF clinic.

Luckystar82 · 01/12/2014 23:40

I'd like to join the thread please :)

EDD 2nd July, DC1, age 32. 9+4

Hormones really kicking in now. MS all day, vomited today.

Have had really bad stomach flue for past 11 days, so feeling pretty sorry for myself! This thread has cheered me up and helped me feel less alone. Going back to GP tomorrow to see if there's anything they can do.

VirtualPointyHat · 02/12/2014 06:50

Have put in weeks, someone give me a shout if you think I made a mistake

Leela5 · 02/12/2014 07:25

Congrats on your scan fatty - I've got my early dating scan this morning. I'm very scared because last time I had this I was sent to hospital with suspected ectopic.

I just really really want to see an actual baby there this time and a heartbeat.
