Welcome, welcome, welcome to the 15th grads thread... celebrating the success of Just Shagging in getting us viroids upduffed!

For those that don't know, a 'viroid' is from the original JSing thread 1, where someone was trying to type ladies (in reference to all the JSing ladies), but their phone decided to call us all viroids instead!

The name stuck and we've been the JSing viroids ever since.

The thread we have graduated from is [http://www.mumsnet.com/Talk/conception/2230396-Remember-Remember-JS-in-November-no-to-bum-fun-car-shagging-and-worms-Control-your-stray-wombles-and-windy-boobs-Shout-WANKBADGERS-at-the-world-of-TTC-and-get-your-cape-on-for-JUST-SHAGGING-32 here] in its 32nd outing. WARNING: they're all a bit kerazy not to mention randy!

There is also a Just Mumming thread in postnatal clubs [http://www.mumsnet.com/Talk/postnatal_clubs/1472763-Just-Mumming-Along-viroids-2?pg=36&order= here] for once your babies come along, or to keep up with the graduated graduates! It's a bit quiet at the moment, but with all these upduffed viroids hopefully it won't be for long!

There is also a private facebook group (so it doesn't give the game away in your news feed!)... if you want to join to see photos of new babies etc, just ask in-thread!

So, roll call below please, viroids!

Sorry but I do think in this instance hooyah is undeserved and I'm sticking up for myself. Grin I associate midwife with last time - started spotting day before, saw midwife, next morning big bleed then empty scan. I'm no Freud but I think my subconscious is running away with itself hence symptom fear.

I really want her to let me have free early scan so I don't have to pay £95 to see nothing again. In my head if it's free then LOS will take over and make it fine.

Leela5 · 18/11/2014 08:04

I don't mind bring given a popz though!

rm00054 · 18/11/2014 08:07

Phew, just caught up from the weekend.
Flowers for everyone with anxiety - I'm joining you all though as all my symptoms have disappeared Confused

I've finally managed to arrange my booking appointment for the one day I can do! It's in the next area over from me, but I'm in a pretty big town, so still only about 10 min drive from home. Just got to wait the long 2 weeks now. waiting waiting waiting

Really glad to hear most of you are doing well.

gx for you today, furry Exciting!!

RPopz · 18/11/2014 08:08

Haha, noone wants a popz! Grin

I'm sure given your experience last time they'll let you have a free one xx

Pisghetti · 18/11/2014 08:08

Well yes grad hooyahs would have to be done more gently Smile

Fleurchamp · 18/11/2014 08:09

Good luck la Flowers

I have a good feeling all will be well for you.

Awake at 4am again. No sign at all that I am pregnant except I am in an extraordinarily good mood and I leapt out of bed at 6am to go swimming. These are not normal symptoms are they? Hmm

I have 5 weeks until I see a midwife, I feel a bit in limbo tbh.

mountaingirl01 · 18/11/2014 08:14

Aghh just peed on a digi and it's only saying 2-3 ?? Should be 3+ by now? la and I should be same as iced almost in tandem

Pisghetti · 18/11/2014 08:21

Mountain digis are qualitative not quantitative and notoriously unreliable for showing progression! Do you have an antenatal consultation booked? I'm sorry I can't remember your history exactly but would you be eligible for an early scan too if that would put your mind at rest?

Pisghetti · 18/11/2014 08:23

Fleur if it helps on my first tri "good" days I went mountain walking. On my "bad" days I was nearly in tears from tiredness. I say grab the energy it while it is available and enjoy Grin

In my first pregnancy every day was a good day... oh to be twenty again!

mountaingirl01 · 18/11/2014 08:27

I'm off to the gp today to begin the process. I'm pretty sure they will offer me early scan ( I had an mc back in July and haven't had proper AF in years). I had talked myself out of doing another digi but damn dh needed to see a hcg rise :(

wilmabedrock · 18/11/2014 08:34

Sorry you're worried La. Maybe make her aware of the anxiety it's causing you to help persuade her about scan.

I love that you said a bad mum would have given the dirty shield Pis as that was going to be my advice!Grin A wash in warm soapy water would be ok. Most countries don't even sterilise bottles. Failing that get a microwave steriliser as they just take a few minutes.

Good luck Scoob!!!

wilmabedrock · 18/11/2014 08:39

Hope all is ok Mountain Thanks

TheBooMonster · 18/11/2014 08:44

ness I would totally have washed the shield under the tap and used it >.< then spent the say bitching about baby's tummy bug that I brought entirely on myself!

Any news scoob?

Leela5 · 18/11/2014 08:55

Mountain it could be just your urine wasn't as concentrated. Equally we are only just 5 weeks aren't we, so really it's still borderline.

Speak to mw and see if you can get early scan x

That's great that you're feeling good fleur! Enjoy it. I felt great yesterday but didn't sleep well so feel shite today.

RM I hope you're ok, are you thinking of getting early scan?

I totally would've rinsed under tap and given it Grin

ChatEnOeuf · 18/11/2014 08:55

Had a deliciously early night last night and look at all I've missed.

Exciting times, Scoob! Hope we get to meet MiniScoob soon! Great work to have avoided induction, AND letting your waters go on someone else's bed Grin

Good luck at MW today La - FWIW, they don't cause spotting, or miscarriages Thanks

Mountain, your DH wants to be arranging serial bloods if he wants to see a HCG rise, and (IIRC) he should bloody well know that!

Wil I would have said exactly the same thing... I think I sterilised the breast pump about three times - washed in hot soapy water or stuck it in the dishwasher every other time. Actually I might have also tried the 'if you're that desperate, try without the shield' line as well. But night feeds made me say mad things...definitely not a bad mum ness, though probably good to get used to that feeling. Welcome to parenthood!

Fleur I am very jealous of your energy! Embrace it. I was ok in my first pregnancy, this one I'm so tired. I blame the toddler not that I'm old. I know the limbo feeling though, first time round I amused myself by getting admitted to my workplace for a few days, all subsequent pregnancies I've spent the time worrying and/or bleeding.

laurenamium · 18/11/2014 09:03

Yes good luck today la!

I also would have rinsed it under the tap Grin so you're a better person than me ness!

Starting to feel a bit more human today, the flu jab totally wiped me out but I'm kind of back- just snot now mostly. I keep falling over though, my balance is bloody terrible all of a sudden!

minimooo · 18/11/2014 09:09

Morning viroids! Just caught up with Fred. Man, there was a lot of chinwagging last night!

la gx it all goes well at the mw today Flowers

mountain ^ what pis and la said! X

min not sure if I've been snoring (need to ask dh) but I've definitely got blocked nose at night - very annoying!

Go Furry! Go Furry! I've got Pom Poms out for you and hoping all is progressing well this morning!

I am currently having an irrational fear that I'm harming beany (our name for lo) by moving around too violently at night. I keep waking myself up because I turn over so aggressively! Hope I'm not doing any harm to beany in my sleep Confused god, is there nothing that a pg woman won't worry about!

Pisghetti · 18/11/2014 09:41

Mini unless you're body slamming DH through the night I doubt you're doing any harm Grin does anyone else find themselves wide awake quite early (not at the time you have to get up when it might actually be useful Hmm )? I swear I woke up because the smoke alarm/CO2 monitor beeped loudly but didn't hear another peep once I was awake so I'm starting to wonder if I dreamt it Confused oh and yes even though I was a bit of a dribbler anyway I am waking up covered in drool. How DP brings himself to share a bed with me I'll never know.....

Is it true that a dishwasher sterilises baby equipment? I don't have a dishwasher - just wondering. It was on my list of nice-to-haves when house hunting but in the end I decided a second bathroom was worth a smaller kitchen. With a teenage boy at home I am thanking myself for making that call!

Lauren glad you're feeling better!

Fleurchamp · 18/11/2014 09:57

pis I doubt a dishwasher would sterilise baby stuff if the level of grum which accumulates in mine is anything to go by.

Although I have heard that you can cook a salmon in there Confused.

Waiting for la to update us.....

Minion · 18/11/2014 10:44

Awww it's my last day in the office and the people I work more with have bought us a beautiful baby blanket and some muslin squares.
So sweet but makes me realise now that scoob is pushing her littly out...
Holy fruitloops.. IM NEXT..
Eeeekkk

Pisghetti · 18/11/2014 11:18

Awww that's lovely Min ! Eek indeed though Grin

Nessalina · 18/11/2014 11:29

Arg! I wrote a big post and phone has failed to post it Angry

Hope all is going well Scoob...

That's lovely Min Smile How thrilling to be finishing!

We're sat waiting for our tongue tie appointment... I had to carry the car seat for like 2mins and (TMI ALERT) my fanjo decided that was too much like hard work and I had a massive bleed. It's been dying down for days so I had an inadequate pad on Confused Yay for black leggings...

ZylaB · 18/11/2014 11:52

Aww min :)

I also have mw today but not until this afternoon, and just managed to have the loveliest lie in! Did injection and blood test at 6.30 as usual and sorted cats out, then managed to go back to sleep until 11.30, it was so nice!

ZylaB · 18/11/2014 11:52

ness hope appt goes well, I must remember to buy maternity pads! ;)

DulcetMoans · 18/11/2014 12:21

Hope your appointment is going well la - get all your questions in now! Good luck for yours later zyla. Feeling a bit left out here without any appointments!

Eek ness - nightmare! Hope its a quick (and useful!) appointment to get you home and tidied up.

mountain, don't panic! Those digis are rubbish! I learnt from yesterday that there is a time when you should just stop testing! Stop with me, we can go cold turkey. No more POAS!
