Just had a chat with Lucy5 and we decided that the old thread was getting too long and taking forever to load so here's a new one for all of us.

Hope everyone's well, nothing to report from me, everything's going smoothly still so far.

Not long now until we get the first of the birth announcements!!

Hubby now has a shopping list for Covent Garden tescos for me

devongirl - Would definitely take yourself off the chocolate ban, know exactly how you feel though, its raining and dark here and all I fancy is the sofa and a book.

However boss keeps phoning up with work stuff...

Loulou000 · 06/10/2006 14:14

At the scan this morning it was 6mm away from the cervix and apparently needs to be 20mm away. So I guess that's a I or a II. I have been scaring myself with everything I can find on the net about it. Must stop.

Calmriver · 06/10/2006 14:27

Hi Guys, Baby is lying on a nerve in the bottom of my back and every now and then my leg collapses...scary! I have just had 2 sachets of Seriously oaty Oats(golden honey flavour) amazing!!!! 1 just wasn't enough. I have the kitchen to tidy up, but not in the mood...just want to curl up on couch and sleep too.

Anyone fancy doing the 15 min clean later today???

I spotted mince pies in Sainsbury's....oh dear!

spinamum · 06/10/2006 14:43

I've been off here and a few days and I'm having trouble keeping up! Must get a copy of FIRST!

My attempts at healthy eating have involved lots of snaking on nuts, rather than cake
I accidently ate some peanuts(which I have avoided for 28weeks JUST in case DH and I pass on any allergies from our familes!) Oh well! I'm sure Beanie will be fine! Now debating whether to contiue to avoid or to make a huge batch of Peanut Butter cookies!

weirdbird · 06/10/2006 15:42

My copy of first has been procured along with some Milo

CR - you will definitely have to purchase some tea cakes now!!!

I am just about to start a clean a thon, are you around? shall email..

judemum · 06/10/2006 15:48

I'm bored. waiting for the weekend to start. can't go home for another hour. Dragged dh out for his lunch break to look at new bed for our 2 year old. Debated the whys and wherefores of purchasing a double buggy versus making do with a buggy board. Would be interested in people's views on this. Double buggies seem expensive and not very big for a two year old. DS quite likes buggy board when he's with his childminder, but then there's the risk I shall be with both of them and he has a meltdown because he's tired..... any opinions?

judemum · 06/10/2006 15:49

whilst I'm at it, also interested in how you other mums have moved your toddlers from a cot with sides into a big bed. Any tips? Contemplating doing this this week or next..

Devongirl · 06/10/2006 15:52

Thanks to everyone for nice messages - I gave in and had a crunchie (well it is Friday) and I really enjoyed it, but still feeling blue. Just want to get home and get into a nice bubble bath to help my back. At least my hands aren't aching so much, it seems to ease up by the afternoon

Thanks again, don't know what I'd do without mumsnet and you guys

WB-lets do it!!! I am ready for the timer..(I use my mobile as I'm not that domesticated as to have a timer!)

I am getting a double pram,(Phil and Teds) as my 2 year old still gets tired when we go out for long periods of time. She can't stand for hours on end. Also I got a TOMY side from Mothercare and stuck that on her cot bed/bed.She likes it because she can get off when she wants to, however I have a gate up in her room for if she has to stay in there...ie, time out etc. Mind you, we give her time out in our bedroom as she finds it less interesting!!!

Calmriver · 06/10/2006 15:59

WB-ready???

weirdbird · 06/10/2006 16:00
