Welcome, welcome, welcome to the 14th grads thread... celebrating the success of Just Shagging in getting us viroids upduffed!

For those that don't know, a 'viroid' is from the original JSing thread 1, where someone was trying to type ladies (in reference to all the JSing ladies), but their phone decided to call us all viroids instead!

The name stuck and we've been the JSing viroids ever since.

The thread we have graduated from is here in its 29th outing. WARNING: they're all a bit kerazy not to mention randy!

There is also a Just Mumming thread in postnatal clubs here for once your babies come along, or to keep up with the graduated graduates! It's a bit quiet at the moment, but with all these upduffed viroids hopefully it won't be for long!

There is also a private facebook group (so it doesn't give the game away in your news feed!)... if you want to join to see photos of new babies etc, just ask in-thread!

So, roll call below please, viroids!

I'm very jealous of 4pm bedtimes! I'll be out early tonight I think. Just in from the horses and I'm cold and tired...tempting to just get in and watch a film now actually...Grin

ZylaB · 07/11/2014 20:08

In the bath, bed after to watch TV.

Turns out DH's dad is coming to help paint (and let me use all his gear so I don't have to buy it) Thursday, going into fri if we need more time. That's ace but mamas and papas gad told us furniture should be here by the 11th which is tues. We haven't heard anything off them though?! DH is going to try ringing tomorrow to see if we can put them off until the mon after, think it's bad we haven't had an actual fixed date though?

wilmabedrock · 08/11/2014 06:55

I think most companies are pretty crap when it comes to delivering furniture so a phone call probably a good idea Zyla.

Does anyone else have awful back pain from heartburn?

DulcetMoans · 08/11/2014 07:41

I'm too scared to poo! There, I've said it! I know it is unlikely to have any impact at all on the babies ability to hold on - in fact it's probably impossible - but I still don't want to ... Strain!

wil, is milk of magnesium for heartburn? And can you even take it when pregnant?! Not sure about backache - laying down all day being bought tea and biscuits?

RPopz · 08/11/2014 08:09

Don't hold it in Dulcet - that way lies misery!! Hmm

Will rennies/ gaviscon touch it Wil

Feeling super grumpy this morning... got to go to a baby shower later, for someone I don't particularly like AND who has demanded money not presents (like a fucking wedding!!). No one else I know is going... Angry DH has organised a meal out later with his new couple crush. I can't be arsed and don't really see the point of making friends with more trendy childless couples at this point!! Spot the antisocial grump.... And then he's buggering off to Leicester all day tomorrow for some gaming tournament thing... grump grump grump. Angry Angry Angry

RPopz · 08/11/2014 08:10

32 weeks today!

Minion · 08/11/2014 08:19

I feel your pain popz, I feel like a complete grump too, today.
I'm sleeping in bite size chunks, can't decide which side is most comfy, when I do decide, the lodger wakes up and plays let's see how long it takes mom to get up for a pee. I ate 6 chips last night and got so full so natch I'm starving and want some grub, but can't get out of bed without a winch.
Everytime I turn over I'm accompanied by noises I never knew I could make and wake up in piles of drool.

4 weeks 3 days. Humph

wilmabedrock · 08/11/2014 08:31

32 weeks popz! Home stretch for you. I say feign pregnancy related illness for the baby shower thing. People have reached a whole new low if they expect to be paid for having a baby. I think they ask for money because people end up giving more than they would spend on a present. Luckily I don't know anyone so vulgar Wink .

Haven't tried Rennies yet as couldn't work out what was causing the pain, but that's all I can think it is. So will go to the shops this morning (when I can be arsed to get out of my pyjamas).

Dulcet, I remember the poo fear from my first pg. It actually got worse the closer I got to labour as I was scared of giving birth over a toilet and the baby falling down it Grin (if only the bugger little darling had come out that easily).

laurenamium · 08/11/2014 08:36

Grin Loving the poo fear! I'm sure it's not as entertaining for you though!

DD was up in the night last night throwing up. I've never known anyone so dramatic. So it's looking like a house day for us. I wanted to go push chair shopping (stamps feet) in her defense though she is genuinely poorly. Even turned down breakfast!

splodge77 · 08/11/2014 09:18

Ugh I really don't get the baby shower thing, it would never occur to me to have one. It's nice when people come visiting when baby first arrives & bring a little prezzie but I certainly wouldn't expect it. & asking for money is just weird!! We're going away next wknd to stay with friends of DP who I don't know v well. Worried my weird, constant eating habits are gonna be hard to maintain in someone else's house & I'm bit gonna be too much fun going to bed at 9pm! Ah well, they've got little ones so hopefully will know the score.

wilmabedrock · 08/11/2014 09:24

They'll probably be relieved not to have to entertain past 9pm Splodge.

Baby showers are fine if a)you don't ask for presents and b)you don't play any stupid baby games. So in fact really what I mean is it's nice to have lunch with your friends Grin .

wilmabedrock · 08/11/2014 09:25

Hope DD is ok Lauren and also hope you don't catch it!

WigglyBraddins · 08/11/2014 09:38

splodge I don't get baby showers either. Before having DS a couple of close friends took me out for nice lunches but that was it.

rpopz you're 32 weeks. You're entitled to avoid any social engagements you like. Get yourself on a sofa under a duvet with your fave book/filum.

lauen and minion oof that sounds rubbish. Big hugs.

I'm spending 2 hours this afternoon doing a workshop with my beautiful yoga teacher that I have a massive crush on (sadly/thankfully unrequited as he is gay). He's baked cappuccino cupcakes for us to eat when we finish. To be fair to DH he made my poppyseed pancakes with spiced clementines while I had a lie in this morning. Ah, lovely menfolk.

laurenamium · 08/11/2014 11:31

Oh wiggly I'm Envy of your yoga! I've finally found a yoga class I can go to but can't start until a week on Tuesday!

Spent an hour in the walk in clinic after DD developed a rash. It faded when touched but thought with all the other symptoms she should get looked at. It's viral so nothing much to be concerned about- but she's really struggling. Currently throwing a huge tantrum because I wouldn't let her draw on the wall in felt tip. Definitely under the weather!

Nessalina · 08/11/2014 11:33

Wil - I'm crunching my way through 4-6 Rennies a day at the minute! Confused Not got as bad as back ache though - the GP can prob prescribe something for you?

Popz - Happy 32 weeks! Definitely blow off dinner to celebrate Hmm And money for a baby shower?? That is beyond cheeky!! Grin I can see the point of baby showers - it's fun to meet up with friends and nice to get gifts before the baby arrives so you know what you still need, but expecting cash is tres grabby. I loved my shower Smile Afternoon tea for ten of us at my gaff, lots of girly chat Grin

Min - I rolled over in the night and something in my pelvis actually went crunch Confused I need this baby out now please!!!

Aww your poor DD Lauren, take advantage of a lazy house day Smile

Girls, I've woken up with the most horrendously itchy nipples. Any suggestions? We have a 3 hour car journey this afternoon and I can't drive and boob grab....:(

Nessalina · 08/11/2014 11:42

Moisturise! Lansinoh if you can get it? They'll sell it big supermarkets and mothercare. It was the only thing that stopped the itching for me!

DulcetMoans · 08/11/2014 12:30

Your DH made what wiggly? Those sound amazing! Does he deliver? My DH just buttered me a piece of bread... Hmm

Money for baby shower is not on really. Don't mind the shower though - but like wil said - in the way it's a nice afternoon with people you like. I've only been to a couple but they've all been a bit relaxed with good and drink. There have been games though, but I don't mind that.

Good news! Stand down! I have done a poo! Grin

wilmabedrock · 08/11/2014 12:56

Hurrah Dulcet!!! Party poppers all round!

Only get the backache when lying down at night Ness. Going to start chowing down on the Rennies.

Damn can't remember what anyone else has said, bloody baby brain.

wilmabedrock · 08/11/2014 12:57

Oh yeah, second lansinoh. Or failing that, breast pads with e.g. sudocreme or calamine lotion?

RPopz · 08/11/2014 13:03

Hooray for pooping!! Grin

Nessalina · 08/11/2014 13:42

cheers for Dulcet Grin

I've just had a massive bacon & egg sarnie, and now I'm watching the snooker. It's pouring rain here, so at least I've got an excuse for not walking Grin Getting in some oxytocin-boosting DH cuddles. When he's not moaning about me invading his couch space Hmm

ZylaB · 08/11/2014 14:46

dulcet yay for pooing!

rpopz money for a baby shower is beyond cheeky!

So we bought the nursery paint today yay. Also tried a comfy chair, I def want one but we're going to look at some more tomorrow dos the one we tried in mothercare didn't have washable covers which I figure will be handy! :)

I now have the duvet on the sofa... Bliss

WigglyBraddins · 08/11/2014 14:47

Yes to Lansinob for nips. My DM told me to put it on from 8 months onwards & I never had any problem.

Yay for Dulcet's poo baby.

And yay Ness for snooker on a rainy Saturday afternoon. Perfect viewing.

DulcetMoans · 08/11/2014 17:57

Thanks viroids! Wish I could get that much praise for pooing every time... Wink

Bacon and egg sarnie ness, excellent choice. Let down by the snooker though...

What colour did you go for zyla? Does it have an interesting name?
