Welcome, welcome, welcome to the 14th grads thread... celebrating the success of Just Shagging in getting us viroids upduffed!

For those that don't know, a 'viroid' is from the original JSing thread 1, where someone was trying to type ladies (in reference to all the JSing ladies), but their phone decided to call us all viroids instead!

The name stuck and we've been the JSing viroids ever since.

The thread we have graduated from is here in its 29th outing. WARNING: they're all a bit kerazy not to mention randy!

There is also a Just Mumming thread in postnatal clubs here for once your babies come along, or to keep up with the graduated graduates! It's a bit quiet at the moment, but with all these upduffed viroids hopefully it won't be for long!

There is also a private facebook group (so it doesn't give the game away in your news feed!)... if you want to join to see photos of new babies etc, just ask in-thread!

So, roll call below please, viroids!

Morning all Smile

Could - oh dear Confused Hmm. It's tricky to influence the brain, but maybe cut out a picture of someone gorgeous to have by your bed like you're 15 and maybe your brain will listen and you'll have better dreams?? I'm not currently obsessed with anyone I can recommend myself... Wow, my sex drive really has disappeared Shock

Hey La! Fab to see you again! We'll keep a comfy spot warm and dry!for you. Once Pis has finished tidying round - we're not very house proud round here Blush kicks McDs wrappers under the sofa

pops a jumbo bar of dairy milk in the post for Min
Not long to go now! Then you can join me in the world of boredom and waiting! Grin I want a cat too! DH is unenthused to say the least, but it will happen at some point, I am determined!

That's a bit confusing Pis - are you supposed to rest or be active? I love it when GPs are entirely useless Hmm

Cym - I don't know how you manage with three other sprogs! I've been sooo selfish with this pregnancy, I'll wholly resent having DS1 to look after next time if there is a next time! Grin The tiredness is a killer in the first few weeks, just get as much chilling time as you can.

Tee - two pints?? bleurgh

I have a teeny niggling cramp in the left ovary zone... Not that I'm overanalysing. Don't slap me, but I never get period pain, so I find it really hard to identify womble pain, but this doesn't feel like bowel-owch, and baby is not poking me in that region, so very much hope it's my muscles warming up for the big push!
I've got five days before the sweep and I'd love for stuff to get going on it's own accord.

We have to register for nursery soon. I don't want her to go!

Basically the same thing Lauren but in someone else's house so half the number of kids.

couldbeanyone · 07/11/2014 12:02

Ness - haha, there's no real life sex drive, only in my dreams! Lol! DH given up!

teejayem · 07/11/2014 12:06

oh yeah, two pints was a total mistake. I just couldn't stop drinking it Blush. I text Mr Tee to tell him and the cheeky bastard said 'does this mean we're going to need a gym membership after you've hatched?!' - He seems to forget that I keep missing out meals and actually haven't put on that much weight at all.
I think I have a bump. It's dress down at work and I've got a tshirt and the one pair of jeans that are comfy and there is definite overspillage, which I'm sure is not milkshake related.

ZylaB · 07/11/2014 12:15

waves I want my pram in the hall but it won't be here until feb probably. Serve me right for wanting that particular one won't it lol!

Hoping DH's mate is coming over later to finally move the treadmill out of the nursery so we can paint it! Very excited about getting it ready, want to go look at nursing chairs this weekend, we will have room in there for one, are they worth it? I like the idea of a comfy rocker for feeding/soothing/sleeping in cos I can't get sodding comfy in bed grrrrr!

wilmabedrock · 07/11/2014 12:27

I think a comfy chair of some kind is worth it zyla although am sure it doesn't need to be a nursing chair (although that 's what we have). My friend has an ikea chair which works just as well.

ChatEnOeuf · 07/11/2014 13:41

I love my rocking chair, excellent investment. Just make sure it's wide enough to tuck the baby's feet in beside you otherwise they flail around and they Will Not settle. Of course this isn't a problem if you're of normal height...

RPopz · 07/11/2014 13:49

I'd love a rocking chair... nursery is not big enough really though.

Flu jab, whooping cough jab and blood test this morning! Shock What was I thinking!? Weirdly have a dead arm in my whooping cough arm but the other one is fine...

ZylaB · 07/11/2014 14:27

Bless you rpopz fx both your arms don't get sore! (Though you could walk around with them pinned to your sides pretending to be a TRex!!)

WigglyBraddins · 07/11/2014 14:47

Afternoon viroids.

I had my booking appointment with the midwife this afternoon. It was funny because I teach her daughter so am used to seeing her at parents' evenings and open days. She was lovely. I didn't even have to ask for a reassurance scan, she just went "oh, history of recurrent miscarriage...you'll need a scan on Monday then". So on Monday I'm being scanned. With the two random bits of time off this week and that next week I'm very lucky I have an understanding boss.

MW also had to check my blood pressure twice because it's so low and told me to eat lots of dried fruit! The only thing that annoyed me was that she implied it was my fault I had a forceps delivery with DS because I refused an induction and waited to go into labour spontaneously. Grrr. She is lovely otherwise tho so I won't hold it against her.

I have everything crossed for a bean (or two...I had to undo the top button on my trousers today) with a heart beat on Monday. I'm going to try to put it out of my mind and enjoy the weekend.

Oh..and the desire for lardy food has kicked in....I found myself mysteriously drawn to butterscotch yumyum doughnuts in Waitrose yesterday may explain the tight waistband

wilmabedrock · 07/11/2014 15:28

Oh yeah because you wouldn't have needed forceps had you been induced Hmm . Big old forceps after induction here. Silly midwife.

Popz I had the same with the jabs - one sore, one not.

Our bloody rocking chair has scraped all the paint off the wall in one spot. Only noticed today. How will I find matching paint when I didn't paint the room in the first place Confused ? (It's a pretty random colour).

Shit, I'm late but can't make myself stand up.

laurenamium · 07/11/2014 15:33

I love the idea of Womble pains ness GrinGrin

Wiggly fx everything will be fine at the scan on Monday! It's good the mw has booked you in for one!

Wil I would love to do my job out of my house so I am Envy of you!

DD has a head ache so she's asleep on the sofa and I have 2 mindees patiently waiting for tea to be ready. I love this time of day!

WigglyBraddins · 07/11/2014 15:36

wil dulux used to do a thing where if you took a photo of the paint with a digital camera they could match it. Had a v quick look on the website and can't find it tho. Could you get some of those really detailed shade strips from a big DIY place that does paint mixing and see if you can get one mixed up that's close?

laurenamium · 07/11/2014 15:47

Sorry cross posted wil! I think the b and q has one of those colour match things that wiggly mentioned. I'm not sure though but worth a shot if dulux don't do it anymore...the b and q near you obviously though Grin

wilmabedrock · 07/11/2014 16:48

Thanks viroids, will try there or more likely will find something else to position in front of the hole.

I'm back in bed Grin .

minimooo · 07/11/2014 17:12

Ah man! I wish I was back in bed wil! I'm doing crappy invoicing for dh's business instead joy of joys Hope the soreness eases soon. Is baby still transverse? I can't even imagine how uncomfortable that must feel...

I had my 16wk midwife appointment today and heard the heartbeat! Was really amazing. And a nice bit of reassurance because 20wk scan isn't for a while yet.

Just ate a load of olives and now feeling bleurgh. Chocolate milk does still sound tempting though...

Hi la! Hope you're feeling ok chick? x

Glad they've offered you a scan wiggly. Fx all goes well on Monday x

ZylaB · 07/11/2014 17:36

Yay treadmill moved! Buying paint tomorrow ready for next week Grin Grin. And DH has gone to supermarket to buy us steak, chips and peas for tea, yum! I'm so bloody knackered though, might be food and bed :)

wilmabedrock · 07/11/2014 17:45

Hurrah zyla how exciting!

TBH mini I can't tell! I feel movements all over bump, which I'm hoping is a good thing in the sense it's still moving round a lot. I had a prod and it kind of feels like it might be diagonal - is that even a thing? So maybe it's slowly moving round the right way.

RPopz · 07/11/2014 17:51

In bed at 5pm, Wil you are my hero!
Yay Zyla! Now the nesting can begin Smile

Glad the app went well wiggly - what's your dried fruit of choice been this aft? Wink Great news on the scan.

Just had a pre tea snack of stilton crackers and chocolate biscuits... Blush

RPopz · 07/11/2014 17:53

I have NO concept of where minipopz is Wil - I can feel feet and elbows everywhere! Just taking the midwife's word for it that s/he's head down. Always seems to be on right hand side of my belly though, oddly.

wilmabedrock · 07/11/2014 18:04

Popz that makes me feel better that it's not just me who literally can't tell an arse from an elbow. I remember last time I could feel the spine and bottom on one side - but that was probably much later on. I feel movements mostly upper right and lower left, if that means anything. Maybe Chat knows.

I feel like I'm going to have to get up for refreshments, what a trauma Grin . Bit scared it will set off dodgy tummy though.

Pisghetti · 07/11/2014 18:08

Zyla DP set my treadmill up with some spare time he had today so I could go walking even when the weather's bad.... Trying to tell me something? I used it for midweek runs in front of a telly when marathon training, usually watching the whole series of Strictly - now I get to look at a wall. While walking. Exciting stuff.

I have a night to myself which is pretty rare. I could catch up on telly. I might have a bath. I'm probably just going to end out passing out early drooling.

RPopz · 07/11/2014 18:23

I sometimes get big hard sticky out bits (ooh err) in my bump which I'd been assuming was the head/ bum... but Mum told me yesterday was Braxton hicks... Confused I'm so good at this! Grin

rm00054 · 07/11/2014 18:42

I have a similar job to you too lauren and wil but also not in my own house and I'm employed rather than self employed. It's a great job, everyone always underestimates how much hard work it is to do properly though, and that always annoys me.

I was all set on telling DM about being upduffed when I see her next week, but DH is convinced we should wait till after the 12 week scan Sad
Got my first doctors appointment on Monday. Doubt they're going to do anything though, just refer me to the midwife because I was too lazy to self refer

RPopz · 07/11/2014 18:59

Where I live rm you can't self refer, you've got to see gp first... most pointless gp app ever! She didn't even make me poas... Just asked me when last period was and said she'd write to midwife!
