forty I've been having achy cramps and the occasional sharp pain over the last couple of days, along with nausea and sore boobs scaling back a bit - been freaking me out royally I can tell you!
Went to my GP this morning and he had a good feel around my belly, and reassured me it sounds like normal discomfort from the uterus growing.
I'd say deffo get to your GP or EPU just to get checked out (& hopefully reassured) but from my GP & my copious googling it sounds like the sharper pains (usually to one side around the groin line) can be early round ligament pain, and the duller aches can be just from the uterus growing and shoving other organs out of the way.
My GP said unless the pains grow continuously and get sharper, more painful and happen in the centre of the lower abdomen and start to be accompanied by heavy spotting, then there shouldn't be a reason to worry...
Still, I find it a bit of piss-take from Mother Nature that the symptoms of a healthy pregnancy ARE PRACTICALLY THE SAME as the symptoms of something going wrong. Feel like my body is suddenly some complex machine I've been put in charge of without any of the appropriate training!
