Thanks Cuphat & Sunbathing! It's really reassuring this happens for other people too.
Freakouy continues this morning - my sickness seems to have fallen right back again & I can still feel the cramps on & off - they are a dull rather than sharp pain, but Im still very scared.
Think I might have some cystitis comong on too (cloudy wee, sorry if TMI) so have booked into see the dr tomorrow.
Im hoping this panic is just a sign of pregnancy hormones! Feel so anxious & unable to concentrate, even though Im at a key stage of my field research Confused

ohlordyplordy · 22/10/2014 11:20

Hi ladies, unfortunately I've had a cp so I've been unceremoniously kicked out of the club.
I wish you all the best of luck.
detective I'm going to leave the fb group and unfriend you - no offence meant but I'm sure that you can understand that I don't want to be faced wuth all of your posts.

Choccywoccydodah · 22/10/2014 11:37

Oh Lordy I'm so sorry. Cp are just awful and cruel. You just get excited and it's all ripped away from you. I truly hope your next pregnancy if the one.

So, I've started spotting and totally pissed off. It's brown and only a small amount. This CANNOT BE HAPPENING A FUCKING GAIN!!!! I think this would be enough to push me over the edge to not try again. 8 would be a joke!!

ohlordyplordy · 22/10/2014 11:50

choccy I really hope it isn't happening to you again. Can you get to an epu?

Tranquilitybaby · 22/10/2014 11:51

Oh chaos what a worrying time for you. Try to keep positive and hopefully all will be just fine.

ginger try peppermint tea, it works wonders for wind pain. X

HariboBrenshnio · 22/10/2014 11:51

ohlordy i'm so sorry, i hope you get your little bean soon.

Choccy have you had brown spotting before? I'v been told brown spotting is fine as it's old blood and only bright red blood is an issue? I really hope it's not happening again. It could be left over implantation blood?

I had my booking in appointment today, i'm 8+6. Midwife was nice but she said she wouldn't see me again until 23 weeks?! Glad i'm jumping ship to one to one midwives!

DS has a second UTI in 2 months, it's being investigated at the hospital but i'm exhausted - i feel like i didn't sleep at all last night.

Hope everyones feeling okay today.

Tranquilitybaby · 22/10/2014 11:53

choccy it might be fine, brown spotting is common. Hang in there.

When are you all having or had your booking in appointment with the midwife? I haven't got mine until nearly 10 weeks!

ots · 22/10/2014 11:53

So sorry to hear that lordy un-mumsnetty hugs Thanks xxx

Choccy sorry to hear you're spotting, I'm not going to tell you not to worry, because given your history of course you're going to. Fingers crossed it's just something like an implantation bleed though Thanks xxx

ots · 22/10/2014 11:57

Tranquility I'll be 10+4 at my booking in, not til the 12th November. Seems quite late, I'm sure I was around 8 weeks last time. It's not ideal either as the screening booklet says that the sickle cell blood test is ideally done before 10 weeks. That won't affect me as I have previously had that test done with DS, but may affect some first time mums? Worth looking into maybe.

PerpetualStudent · 22/10/2014 12:13

Oh lordy that's awful. Im so sorry, sending you Flowers

choccy as others have said light/brown spotting may well not be anything to worry about, though of course you will Thanks hope you can see Dr or epu soon & will be keeping F firmly X for you

So sorry lordy

Hi choccy, poor you you must be worried. Are you at work? I'd be heading to the EPU, though like pps have said it sounds like old blood x

Choccywoccydodah · 22/10/2014 12:33

I normally start brown then it turns to red.
My cervix has almost disappeared into myself and it's up there more than anything. More pinky now :(

Not at work, but have ds today. I'm just going to see it out. They'll be nothing they can do anyway

cuphat · 22/10/2014 12:54

So sorry, Lordy.

I hope everything's ok, choccy.

Phryn · 22/10/2014 12:57

I'm so sorry to hear that ohlordy. Really hoping that you have a sticky bean in the near future. Also hope that you can find support IRL - coping with loss can be so hard no matter the stage it happens at.

Choccy thinking of you and hoping this is just a worrying bump in the road rather than something worse xx

Loiterer · 22/10/2014 14:22

Thinking of you choccy and hoping your bean hangs in there

Smugfearnleyshittingstool · 22/10/2014 14:50

So sorry lordy thinking of you and choccy hope you have lots of rl support . X

chaoscausingboys · 22/10/2014 14:58

Oh Lordy I am so sorry that you have gone through this. Hugs too.

Choccy, am really sorry too. I hope it is nothing but some old blood. I am handholding you too as I started brown spotting this morning too. Not much but noticeable and it is still happening this aft. Phoned docs who have arranged an appt at epu for Tuesday. Tbh I kind of expected it with the early scan result but it does not make it any less stressful or horrid. Am trying to keep calm and distract myself.

MsJupiter · 22/10/2014 15:04

So sorry to those of you having blood and bad news. xx

Choccywoccydodah · 22/10/2014 16:16

Chaos sorry you're having it too. It's just shit. Makes no sense to me whatsoever when ds was so easy to conceive!! (3rd month).
If this one doesn't take I'm not sure I can try again. It's so hard emotionally and it's not fair on my family. It takes over your whole life (in my case anyway) ttc, especially when this happens every time I catch.
I was so relaxed when I wasn't trying and so at ease doing things, not in the internet looking at signs and looking up spotting etc.
I've got a 3 year old to think about and a wonderful dh. If I can't hold into this one I think I need to accept that ds will be an only

Chookford · 22/10/2014 16:17

lordy I'm so sorry to hear your news, I hope you have lots of support in real life Flowers

choccy really hope this isn't wsnt you think it is, I will keep everything crossed for you.. Flowers

Chookford · 22/10/2014 16:19

chaos I'm sorry to hear you are having a rough ride too, will keep everything crossed for you too Flowers
