My last pregnancy I had lots of food aversions.

Eggs, chicken, chocolate, coca cola, McDonald's are the ones I remember most! Grrr!

No aversions yet. Had cravings for roast potatoes and Yorkshire puds covered in gravy. Same as my first pregnancy but those came much later!

I craved tangerines and fruit last time [shock ].

Baby (singular not plural) including heartbeat all present and correct. I'm 8+5 which is pretty much bang on where I thought I'd be from my temp chart. Sonographer described the little one as "perfect". DH and I are so relieved and pleased Smile. Thanks for all your well wishes and support. Xx Thanks

MrsExtraOrdinary · 01/11/2014 17:08

So glad you updated phryn, I knew your scan was 4 hours before started to worry something was wrong. Was holding out until youd updated.

All good at 8 plus 2. Strong heartbeat and everything looking great. Such a relief and just the one for me too Wink

Phryn · 01/11/2014 17:17

MrsE that was very sweet of you to wait/be concerned! DH and I had lunch and explored Battle after the scan in a happy daze. 3g signal was non existent so I couldn't update till we got home about half an hour ago.

So pleased for you also (am suspecting you might be relieved there's just one Wink). Hope the NHS scan also will provide some health info for you. Rachel (sonographer) was lovely wasn't she? For any of you vaguely kent/Sussex area people Discovery Ultrasound in Battle are well worth a look (good value too at £69 compared to Brighton prices.)

MrsExtraOrdinary · 01/11/2014 17:24

Yes Rachel was lovely! We were early would you believe as the first scan was on time. So we actually got there half an hour early. All that worryGrin the lady in front hadn't arrived so we nipped in front. We will be going back at 16 weeks, might see you in the waiting room Wink

Alisvolatpropiis · 01/11/2014 17:57

Ah so glad you both had happy scans Phryn and MrsE Smile

4 weeks until I have mine. Seems an age away!

TheDetective · 01/11/2014 18:08

I've just come to the conclusion my mum can't be happy for anyone. Ever.

I told her some other good news today and she reacted badly to that too.

I don't think I'm going to tell her about this baby. :)

Jackiebrambles · 01/11/2014 18:09

So happy that your scans were perfect Phryn and MrsE!

I've been feeling dreadful today, so sick although no actual puking. DH took DS out this morning to toddler footie and then when I put him down for his post lunch nap I went to bed and got up at 5pm!! Just sooo tired.

I feel much better though now, I sent DH out for lucozade which is helping. Bit worried about how much caffeine it's got though!

Is it spooky night on X factor?!

Wonderful news on the scenes.
Argh! I'm so jealous. I want one.

GuybrushThreepwoodMP · 01/11/2014 20:00

*scans. Fuck you autocorrect.

Tranquilitybaby · 01/11/2014 20:08

Ah so glad the scans went well phryn and MrsE.

Phryn the scan pic is sooo sweet!

Zaccheryquack · 01/11/2014 20:18

Congrats on the scans Phryn and Mrs E.

Interested to hear everyone is loving tangerines like I am. Vitamin C craving?

Had a lovely day today. First weekend without family visiting/ visiting family in a month. Lovely just to potter with dh and dd. Meeting with friends tomorrow who have children same age as dd so think that will be great too.

DH out this evening so plan to go to bed very soon after finishing watching Strictly. DD keeps mentioning having a baby in her tummy, which is weird as we have not mentioned I am pregnant. She was also breastfeeding her plastic frog in the bath tonight, which was a little odd but very cute!

Sorry to everyone feeling ropey at the moment. Not long now and we will all be feeling wonderful and have perfect glowing skin and proper bumps rather than just looking a bit chubbier than normal and feeling sick. Roll on 12 weeks!

teeniedeenie34 · 01/11/2014 21:22

Evening ladies!

Fab news about your scans Phryn and MrsE, so happy for you both.

Hope all that are out tonight have a great time. I am joining those of you chilling on the sofa in my pjs and watching xfactor. My OH is out with his friends so means I can go to bed nice and early, woo hoo!

5+4 today and time is going super slow, although I do wake up every morning grateful that I've managed another day. It's a worrying time. At least we're into November now though!

TheDetective · 01/11/2014 21:48

I'm enjoying my perkier boobs today Grin. Yay for pregnant tits!

Time is going extra super duper slow teenie and it is REALLY irritating me!
