Course completed, phew! Glad I remembered even if it was last minute. Fortunately there was water on the table so I managed to sip all afternoon to ward of sicky feeling.

dietcokeisgreat · 27/10/2014 17:26

Hi,

I am 6+6, due 16th june. So far, i have had tummy pains which have now gone and morning sickness. This started at 5+2! This is my 2nd pregnancy and didnt feel sick til 8/40 last time so am feeling cheated already.

I have an appt with my gp tomorrow to announce the news and hopefully get referred to the mw. Last time i had my dating scan at 13wks somthing and it was too late to do the nuchal measurement. Hoping for an earlier one this time.

Am coninuously munching salty snacks...dread to think what the scales might say in a few weeks if this continues...

Of course i am totally paranoid about whether or not ther is anything in there and if it is okay!mgood luck to all.

Welcome new ladies! I am relatively new myself.

I'm not due til 21 June. Feels like a long road ahead til June. There are twins in our family. Not sure I would cope with four under five if it is twins. I'm thinking just the one though I already look like I'm carrying multiples.

Making the DC their tea tonight and it was all I could do not to heave.

I'm shattered and nodded off earlier for 20mins. Got to get through the bed bath for the DC and then the evening is my own and I shall be mainly snacking and sleeping.

Bazza2 · 27/10/2014 18:20

I think I'm a tiny bit older than most of you - I'm due at the beginning of June around my 38th birthday! My first too. There seem to be quite a few of us pretty similar though. croon I know what you mean about waiting ages for letters and things, and about it seeming like a bloody long wait til 12 weeks. Like some of you I am also extra worried because of a previous loss (ectopic). And dietcoke I am practically living on salty snacks. Frazzles are currently topping my list.

TheDetective · 27/10/2014 18:29

Evening ladies. I've made it to 5+6 with only very mild nausea. No other symptoms still.

I'm praying that things stay this way. I was 5+6 and 6+3 with my previous pregnancies at first vomit...

I'm in the danger zone!

Welcome to the newbies! I'm glad there are a few more due at the end of June. I promise I'll be the last one to have my baby. Due June 23rd, and I went to 42+6 last time. So that puts me to mid July really! Confused Eeeek!

Welcome newbies Grin

Croon, mine is due 6th June too. My scan is on 26th November at 12+3, so yours should be around then too :)
With my last pregnancy it took ages to get appointments through (and actually had a letter for my booking in apt the day I had an ERPC following a MMC Hmm). This time it has all gone quickly though. Met my midwife on a Friday afternoon and she made an appointment for my booking in there and then (12th Nov), then the following Monday I had my appointment in the post for my scan.

Had a really rubbish afternoon, feel so sick and tired today. Tried out some travel sickness bands for nausea, but all they did was make my wrists itch. They've gone in the bin! Managed to eat a jacket potato with beans for dinner, it was the first nutritious meal I've had in ages! (Although I did follow it with 2 mince pies!)

GuybrushThreepwoodMP · 27/10/2014 19:25

42+6 TheDetective! you must have been grumpy and uncomfortable!

BingoBonkers · 27/10/2014 19:35

Bazza not long after my EDD I will be 40.

Jackiebrambles · 27/10/2014 19:49

Omg frazzles, I need to have a pack now! Been staving off nausea today by swigging lemonade. I have to have fizzy stuff!

Today is my day with DS, and I also saw my gp to get the ball rolling, I should get my booking in and scan appt in 2 weeks ish.

Going to gp with a toddler is hell! He was everywhere, wouldn't sit still and then grabbing blood pressure thingy :-/ she seemed to not mind but was probably thinking 'can you cope with another?!' Grin

MrsExtraOrdinary · 27/10/2014 19:50

Well my babies have gone from 8 days early to 10 days late. The problem is with that for about 3 weeks daily I'm asked is today the day? Coz I am just a performing seal. I like the duchess's idea of having a due month. Grin I think it depends whose on duty as to whether I go overdue of not. I waited on my 4th baby until the nice midwife came back on duty. So was in slow labour for 4 days Wink was on my own then too, so had to carry on doing normal school runs etc. Quite funny looking back. Last time baby 5 I know my body was waiting for baby 4 to start school in reception. I just managed it. 5 was born that night.

Jackiebrambles · 27/10/2014 19:51

Good luck to everyone with half term kids at home this week. DS back in nursery tomorrow and I'm off to work for a rest!

MrsExtraOrdinary · 27/10/2014 19:51

I'm pretty convinced this time I won't go into labour until my eldest has finished all his gcses. Knowing me I'll get going while he's in his last exam Wink

Kyz · 27/10/2014 20:54

Evening all :) Been a busy weekend and DS isn't well so i won't be about long, back ache really going for it now and i'm struggling to sleep, nausea not too bad atm but keeps coming in waves which is lovely!

welcome newbies :), have added you to the STATS LIST and have been updating bits and pieces where I can for everyone :)

Once again i will try to keep up a bit better this week!

Chookford · 27/10/2014 21:20

diet congrats and welcome

mrsE glad course is all over. If you can cross your legs until he finishes his last exams sure he would appreciate that Grin.

Frazzles are awesome.. I'm also addicted to monster munch!

I was 8 days late with my dad and that was more than enough, detective I hope this one is on time!!

Chookford · 27/10/2014 21:21

Ha dd not dad bloody auto correct!

Thelovecats · 27/10/2014 21:23

Thanks kyz.
Today I have endured a really rough ferry crossing, on top of pregnancy nausea. The room is still moving- bleurgh!
Going shopping for snacks tomorrow to get me through- salt and vinegar crisps. Never eat them apart from when pg!

sun high five for the trolley full of crisps!

I had a KFC on sat, my first in about a year god it was great!!!

ots · 27/10/2014 21:32

I bought salt and vinegar McCoys and a bombay bad boy pot noodle today, really into salty and spicy things at the moment.

Phryn · 27/10/2014 21:40

Another on the crisp train - hula hoops for me... if my wallet extended to regular kettle crisps that'd be my poison of choice. Frazzles also sound like a genius idea.
