Hello, I am so absolutely useless with keeping up!!

Why can't mango be in season? I'm going to bankrupt us at this rate, I really am.

MrsExtraOrdinary · 26/10/2014 09:44

I've had carpol for years, but couldn't get on with the splints. I need injections I think. I sew for a living so it's quite a massive problem. Was on my list of things to do but the pregnancy has snuck in there first. So I expect as with a few things I haven't managed to sort out its just going to get worse.

HariboBrenshnio · 26/10/2014 09:59

Thanks anything, sounds like a best get it checked out if it's going to get worse! Lifting DS is already a struggle as my back hurts so not helped by a weak arm. Hope your getting lots of rest this weekend.

ots hope you can get it checked too. I didn't think it was pregnancy related but thought a google couldn't hurt!

ots · 26/10/2014 10:11

This is going to sound silly, but its not possible to feel the baby move yet is it? Its my 2nd baby (but 3rd pregnancy if that makes any difference). It just felt like the first flutters you get when you first feel it move. I'm 8+1, I'm being ridiculous aren't I? Blush

HariboBrenshnio · 26/10/2014 10:20

ots Iv felt it too, probably from a week ago so what your at now. Second pregnancy here too. I mentioned it to my midwife and she said it's probably gas, baby is a tiny little mean so we won't feel anything. I'm not so sure though, it really feels like first flutters!

HariboBrenshnio · 26/10/2014 10:23

ots I feel them too! Probably started about a week ago so where your at now & second pregnancy. I mentioned it to the midwife and she said it's probably gas. She said little bean is way way too small to feel anything yet. It really does feel like those first flutters though and more so if I eat chocolate or something sugary.

ots · 26/10/2014 10:24

Yeah it really does doesn't it. I think if it was my first pregnancy I would believe it was just gas, but it feels so much like when I first felt DS move. Eek.

impatienceisavirtue · 26/10/2014 10:28

Ok I've caught up!

Mrsk fantastic news - I have everything crossed for you!

notsoold I really hope that everything turns out ok x

I am so, so sorry ohlordy, chaos, choccy Thanks

MrsE sorry you are having such a rough time of it Sad

Congrats and welcome iwant, glen, thelove, bingo rocking & teenie!

smug STEP AWAY FROM THE ECs!!! I didn't show up on supposedly sensitive ecs for ages after I did on supposedly less sensitive FRER. They aren't as good as they're supposed to be!

So glad to hear about all the positive scan news Smile we have a private one booked for 7 nov although seeing mw on Monday so may send me for one anyway due to the mcs this year.

Pains are normal for those worried, honestly

As are changing symptoms - including boobs. Mine have been so painful since before BFP even and have tripled in size but I had a total panic attack when the pain eased right off the other day- googled the hell out of it and it's normal, and they hurt again! Yay... I think Hmm ha ha

Sorry if I missed anyone!

How is everyone feeling today?

teeniedeenie34 · 26/10/2014 10:40

Morning ladies

Thank you for the welcome, I recognise some of your names from the buses I was on Smile Can't quite believe I'm here if I'm honest.

I have to say it's very comforting to read this thread and know I am not alone in experiencing the insomnia, cramps and most of all the anxiety/worrying.

I am also finding I am losing weight a bit of weight at the moment as I can only eat small meals or I feel so so full and really uncomfortable. I think the little and often route is the key for me at the moment.

I took another clear blue digi this morning as we are going to use it this evening to tell both sets of parents... It came up 2-3 weeks rather than the 1-2 weeks I got on Fridays one. It's amazing how accurate they are! Feeling very, very nervous about how everyone is going to react... Not sure why. But I can see me getting emotional telling my parents.

Zacchery I know! No one I know has had an early baby so it's probably more than likely I will deliver in July but you just never know... Smile

Gr33dyeggs · 26/10/2014 11:04

Hi All,

I'm tentatively introducing myself. I think I'm 9 weeks today with 2nd child. I have a 5yr old DS and had a natural m/c 3 months prior to conceiving him.

I have had a variety of symptoms - nausea, sickness, bloating constipation, sore boobs but all are tailing off now, could be placenta kicking in, but also I started bleeding at 9+2 with the M/C.

I have read most of this thread, and am sorry for the early losses.

I'm a little annoyed that my dating scan isn't until 13+3, especially as the GP had me book in at 6 weeks! I doubt it can be changed either, because I was given 13+5 but had to change due to work commitments but was told it couldn't be before my midwife appointment at the hospital (21st november). According to the booklets I should still be OK for NT test, but that's providing my dates are correct....

Looking forward to getting to know everyone - my calculated EDD is actually may 31st, but went over with DS by 1 week ish. So will see what the dating scan says - it feels like an awfully long wait!

JennyOfOldstones · 26/10/2014 11:16

Hi guys hope everyone is having a lovely Sunday! Just had my early scan, size was good and saw the heartbeat! Due date estimated at June 6th instead of 4th. Feeling a bit emosh...

I'm sure you'll get a scan date soon Tori, when is your EDD? Maybe chase it up if you dont hear this week?

Glad your stomach cramps have gone sun, maybe see how you go over the next week or so to make a decision about a scan. Not long at all til your NHS one. Mine is 4 weeks and 3 days. I do feel like the time is moving faster now though.

We're no longer the newest... Just seen there is a July group Grin

Phryn · 26/10/2014 13:50

Lovely news Jenny

I'd definitely chase Tori. The letter could have got lost in the post or for some reason you're not on the scan list yet.

Ots - I saw the July thread too! It's so nice to no longer be the newest kids on the block Grin. Feels like our bus is well and truly on the way now.

AnythingNotEverything · 26/10/2014 14:02

So glad there's a July group. Feels less precarious here now if that makes sense. I know that's silly.

Slacktacular · 26/10/2014 14:32

Hi all! Been hovering for a bit but need to blurt out to someone other than DH! Am 5+3 with baby #2. We have a DD 2.1 and this baby's due June 25 so before DD's 3rd birthday as I'd really hoped. So anxious though - think I was actually more relaxed 1st time round!! Just seems too good to be true. Bit of spotting which isn't helping me to chill out much, but no drama yet and boobs still sore so crossing fingers all is normal. Congrats to all others on this bus!

Welcome slack and congratulations. Hope the spotting stops (could it be implantation?) Your local EPU might scan if you're worried but some don't scan until after 6 weeks.

So I've got my booking in appointment on Monday. I didn't get to get to this stage last time and have ignored the forms till now. Finally am starting to fill them in and feeling really happy about it. Smile

Errgggh, I feel so ill today. At the edge of vomitting all day. Headachy. Am super sensitive to all smells - went into town and braved Ikea this morning, had to pull my top over my nose to block out the traffic fumes. Car stunk. House stinks. As for DD's pooey nappies....

If I wasn't pregnant I wouldn't go to work in this state, which is making me wonder why I am still planning to go in tomorrow. Better to go in, look like crap and get sent home (and raise everyone's suspicions?)?

sparkle17 · 26/10/2014 17:34

Hi everyone. Not posted for a few days. Welcome to the newbies. More the merrier. It is good to see the july bus get going!

I'm 6 weeks tomorrow
Bean is a size of a lentil! Started getting quesy a few days ago. The time it takes for it to come back after eating is getting shorter. Yesterday i was feeling very flat, low, fragile and teary. Hormones definitely at play as was not down about anything. Dh asked if i was feeling teary and i just started crying over nothing. He was like this is science in action but gave me a big hug.

MrsExtraOrdinary · 26/10/2014 17:39

Sparkle I could imagine my eldest son saying that! Wink Hope you're feeling brighter today Smile

AnythingNotEverything · 26/10/2014 17:44

Sparkle I'm 6 weeks tomorrow too. Constantly pushing food in my face seems to be the only thing keeping the nausea and fatigue at bay. Just trying to keep my weight down until my booking in appointment next Friday ... Need to keep my BMI within the "overweight" range!

sparkle17 · 26/10/2014 17:49

Yes feeling brighter today. I am a very lazy pregnant lady though. Not done anything this weekend. I'm doing a course at work and need to do an essay for it so the next two weekends can't be as lazy. Course ends 2nd june. Will just have to see how things go. That will be the 3rd module so may not complete it and have to do it on 2016 instead.
