sunbathingcat these worries are totally understandable, but try not to think the worse. Keep positive x

Deutschybaby · 25/10/2014 10:48

Wow, I've missed loads! We broke up for half term yesterday too, so hopefully I can catch up a bit! I've been so tired the last few weeks that I've completely forgotten about housework, it's going to be a bit of a mission to get things sorted again!

Sorry to hear that so many of you are worry right now, I really hope that everyone gets positive follow up news. It's all so scary isn't it!

I've got an early scan on Monday, but I'm beginning to worry that it will cause me more worry than relief! I'm about 7 weeks I think (!) but my cycle is pretty long and part of me wishes I could just bury my head in the sand for the next few weeks with everything crossed instead!

Anybody got any nice (distracting) weekend plans? I'm taking DD (4) pumpkin carving in a bit, and then we're going to deliver our top secret wedding invitations Smile

Alisvolatpropiis · 25/10/2014 11:15

I didn't quite take that deep breath I said I would. Called the EPU this morning and was assured that as there had been no further pain and no bleeding all was very likely to be ok.

So just need to wait out the next 5 weeks until my scan

Good luck to everyone with tests/early scans ?? Hope everything turns out well.

Nausea kicking in now and if it gets worse over the next few weeks I don't know how I'll get through a working day. My boss (kind of half joking) has said a few times to me don't even think of getting pregnant and he said it again this week - previously I've laughed it off/ignored it but now it does genuinely make me worried about telling him. My bonus and salary gets decided next week so want to get through that without having to tell him I'm pregnant. Just worried I'll be having time off if nausea/sickness gets worse. It's worry I don't really need! Sorry to go on but it's playing on my mind and nice to get it out of my head and written down x

Sun

The lady I spoke to said if I was still very concerned then I could go to the gp and see if he/she would refer me for an early scan but added that on the information I'd given her the gp may well not think it necessary. I was initially affronted but then actually heard what she was saying.

It made me feel much better calling to be honest. Even if you do get told the same thing as me, it might give you some peace of mind to hear it first hand?

We can definitely bite nails together Smile

I am sorry to read about all the concerns people are having and the anxiety it's causing. I am keeping my fingers xed for good news for you all and that worries turn out to be unfounded. Several of you have evidently have difficult journeys to get to this point so I do hope this time is the one that sticks.

My doctor said she wanted me to have an early scan as I bled earlier in the month but I am sure it was implantation, I had exactly the same with DS and the bleed was a week before I got the BFP. So I guess I will hear soon if that's happening. If I am having an early scan then I'll hold off telling anyone for the time being. By my dates I'm less than 5 weeks still so there wouldn't be much point for another week or so. By the GP's dates I'd be 6+2 but that is just from LMP so doesn't take into account my very long cycles.

Tranquilitybaby · 25/10/2014 13:09

I'm feeling very anxious about it all today. I'm reasonably confident this one isn't ectopic, none of the symptoms are the same but even if we get through that hurdle, I still have another scan and Harmony test at 10 weeks, nuchal at 12 weeks etc. Pregnancy after loss is so hard isn't it? Sad I just feel terrified and unable to enjoy it.

BingoBonkers · 25/10/2014 13:51

I'm prematurely marking my place.

Have yet to POAS but have symptoms. Feeling bleurghhhhh and horrid plus AF late. I'm never late. Didn't realise either as been very busy with day to day life. If the differ calculator is correct and I am actually pregnant then due date is 21 June. However I am still in huge denial.

Typically just as we decided no more children as TTC wasn't working out and nothing was happening. Boy I feel mega rough. Really need to get a test and find out one way or the other. Plus I have been drinking Allsorts recently. Shock

ots · 25/10/2014 14:04

tranquility yes pregnancy after a loss is so hard Sad . I have my 12 week scan on 26th November, and while I'm looking forward to it, I'm terrified at the same time in case there is no heartbeat. I don't have any signs that anything is wrong, but can't help but worry. This will be my last pregnancy (providing nothing goes wrong) as we have decided to stop at 2 DCs, so I know I should enjoy it but I'm not at all Sad

sun so sorry you're worrying again, and it must be hard not to compare it to last time. Just stay positive for now. I think lots of us are having random aches and pains and I think it is quite normal. Would your period be due around now if you weren't pregnant? Mine would and I think that's why I'm getting these pains. I'm trying to feel positive today. I'm 8 weeks today, and while I made it to 8+4 last time, my baby only made it til 6+5 so 8 weeks is a mini milestone. 9 weeks will be a definite milestone for me :)

MrsK hope your blood test goes OK today, and hope you find out more about what is going on too notsoold

ots · 25/10/2014 14:06

Bingo yes POAS and come back and update us :) . If you are try not to worry about drinking, it won't have done any damage this early on.

MrsExtraOrdinary · 25/10/2014 16:28

I'm having a bad day, so far managed 3 opal fruits and one ginger biscuit! :-(

htf2 · 25/10/2014 18:04

Marking my place. Hopefully will join in more when feeling better. Good luck to everyone :)

I slept all afternoon too Sun. We certainly seem to be having similar symptoms!

Formally marking place now. POAS and it is affirmative. Mixed emotions and mainly shock.

Alisvolatpropiis · 25/10/2014 19:11

Erm, without asking too private a question Sun, have you been constipated this week?

I only ask because that has definitely been the source of a couple of my cramping episodes. Blush

Alisvolatpropiis · 25/10/2014 19:11

Congratulations Bingo!

MrsKrios · 25/10/2014 19:11

My HCG has doubled Smile . Feeling a lot more positive now. Now have an agonising 10 day wait until my next scan to be 100% sure.

BingoBonkers · 25/10/2014 19:15

Thanks Alis.

Tranq I've found every pregnancy to be stressful and a worrying time. I can't say I've enjoyed them. I try to take it day by day and immerse myself in other stuff otherwise I find it so completely overwhelming. Here for handholding.

Great news Mrs.

I had 10 minutes or so of pain on my right side earlier, I couldn't move or breathe properly. My early scan showed I have a corpus luteum cyst on my right ovary so it might be to do with that. The sonographer said it is nothing to worry about (and in fact a good thing) but of course you still do. Googling shows that people in the US seem to be given progesterone as standard when they have one as if it ruptures it can affect progesterone levels so I'm panicking a bit about that but I don't think there's anything anyone here would do. Baby is more on the left so hopefully ok.

ots · 25/10/2014 19:29

Congratulations bingo

Great news MrsK, have been thinking about you today.

bubalou · 25/10/2014 20:21

Great news mrsK.

Keeping everything crossed for you. Smile
