Sorry to everyone who is having worries, fingers crossed for you. I've stressed myself out today, hopefully unnecessarily. Bloody Internet cheapy bag burning a hole in my draw! So I poas 2 days ago fmu and strong pos, did one today before school pick up and much lighter than control line:/ I'm feeling really sick all day today, boobs ok but they've not really hurt anyway much, constipated still so plenty of symptoms and no pain or blood or anything! My sensible head knows that everything is probably fine but that nagging voice keeps telling me oh shit! Wish I hadn't bothered now! And I'll have to do another on tomorrow to try and convince myself!

Tranquilitybaby · 23/10/2014 16:40

Chaos, choccy and MrsK, I feel so sorry for you all xx

Phryn · 23/10/2014 16:42

MrsK thinking of you and hoping you get a phone call soon with positive news about the HCG level.

Smug step away from the Internet cheapies! Your sensible head is saying sensible things, you have clear pregnancy symptoms and unless I've misread things you last tested with non-FMU which could easily explain the result. Try not to worry, totally understand your desire to test tomorrow am with FMU but then maybe stick the IC/poas bag of paranoia back up with lots of sellotape and stick it in a drawer where it can't tempt you for a bit! Wink Wink

TheDetective · 23/10/2014 17:04

I'm very sorry to hear all the ladies having bad news. Thanks

MrsK I think you might be having some unnecessary worry. I went through similar in my last pregnancy. I had a scan at 6 + 0 which showed a sac, nothing else. I was told I was no more than 5 weeks pregnant, which I knew was completely wrong, or I'd got a positive test at 3DPO! I went back the next day to a different EPAU, and got another scan. At that scan there was a fetal pole and a heartbeat!

I went on to have a successful pregnancy. :)

From what it sounds like, you are under 6 weeks. I know it is difficult, but I think it is just too early on scan yet.

TheDetective · 23/10/2014 17:08

I would just like to announce I have slept for over 16 hours out of the last 24 Shock. I think the first real pregnancy symptoms are hitting me. A strange kind of fatigue that is sending DP to irritation gee, you think I like it?! and the nausea is very very mild, but I am aware of it, as soon as I feel it I know I'm about time to take another cyclizine. I've also been aware of needing to eat to keep it at bay.

It's super mild, and bearable. Fingers crossed it stays like this.

I can feel a row coming on with DP over his lack of sympathy. He knows I don't do early pregnancy well. He swore he would be understanding and supportive. Hmm

MrsKrios · 23/10/2014 17:21

Thanks Detective. Maybe you're right, though I did see the scan and there was nothing in the sac to see so I don't think it was a mistake by the sonographer. It could still just be too early.

It's just so similar to what happened last year that I'm having a hard time not expecting the worst.

Still waiting for a phone call Sad .

Smugfearnleyshittingstool · 23/10/2014 17:24

Thank you phryn I need a firm voice telling me, yes today's IC was not fmu either. I know I know and breathe!

If you bear with me, I'll go and find my scan pic from last time.

AnythingNotEverything · 23/10/2014 17:41

Detective I'm exhausted too. It's hit me like a bus today. I don't mind as it's the only symptom I have. Keep meaning to POAS just to make sure.

Sorry to all those having worries. So heartbreaking to be so close and so far. Big hugs xx

MrsExtraOrdinary · 23/10/2014 17:58

So because I'm bigger than an elephant already ive booked an 8 week scan for next Saturday. Just want to be sure everything is ok. I might be just pumped full of water. I'm not weeing for Britain yet at all. Think that's the only symptom I don't have. Glad it's Saturday so dh can come with me.

AnythingNotEverything · 23/10/2014 17:59

MrsE that sounds like a good idea.

I don't know why I've not paid for a private scan in my other pregnancies before? But for £69 I think it's money well spent. I'll be 8 weeks exactly and ill be 14dpo exactly. We didn't dtd after that so I can't be quite confident about dates.

MrsExtraOrdinary · 23/10/2014 18:49

Should say I am confident about dates* stupid phone.

I'm just letting the day pass today. It's my eldest child's bday today he's 16. The day he was born was a Friday, was grid lock day. Remember it like it was yesterday. I thought me and the baby we're going to die that night, but here we are 16 years later. I'm so proud of him. I couldn't believe how much you could love a baby. I didn't sleep the following night at all, just couldn't take my eyes of him. But of a land mark day today.

Tried to post this before but something went wrong.

Anyway, right. I've had the results back, they are 1347 and I'm not sure what to do with those results. The nurse said that those could fit with being four to five weeks pregnant (seems a bit high though?) and that in turn, would fit with what showed up on the scan.

I have to go back in on Saturday to see if the number has doubled and if it has they will book me in for another scan. All depends on Saturdays results really I think. Could still be ok.

Happy birthday to your eldest MrsE ... Made me well up a bit, I'm SO emotional at the moment!

Hope you've had some news by now MrsK x

I'm feeling sorry for myself tonight. Cooked a lovely (according to DH) chilli and have been looking forward to it all afternoon. I managed 2 mouthfuls :( . Seriously running out of things I can eat now!

ots · 23/10/2014 19:16

Sorry x post Mrs K. Sounds good if those levels fit with 4-5, I have to admit I know nothing about hcg levels. Fingers crossed for Saturday :)

MrsExtraOrdinary · 23/10/2014 19:21

Thanks ots and sunbathing. Smile

MrsK can I just recommend when you go in for the next blood test it is definitely over the allotted time, but under. My results last time didn't quite double because they did the second test too early. So be careful about the timing of the apt. Even so mine didn't completely double and they prepared me for mc he was born 7.5 months later perfectly healthily. It sounds as though it's just early to me. Keep positive.

rosabeth · 23/10/2014 19:25

Hi all. Very sorry to see some sad news on here. Sending out as much love as I can.
Mrs K - sounds promising? I will be thinking of you come Saturday.

TheDetective · 23/10/2014 19:31

I had a lot of searching to do! Eventually found it! This was 6+0 last time.

Thank you so so much for taking the time to find that Detective. My scan looked a lot like that but without the white inside, which I guess would fit with being about five weeks?

I'm feeling slightly more positive now Flowers
