Does anyone know if 11+1 or 11+2 is too early for downs testing? My scan date has come through for Mon and although I would like it as soon as poss I don't really want to be sent away. I have a reassurance scan on Wed anyway.

according to the nhs website it's between 11+2 and 14+1. HTH x

So today marks 13wks does that mean I'm officially in the second trimester now? My body needs to get the memo as I'm still being sick boo haha.

Thanks ladies. kitty yes DP mamaged along even though he's not on fact better, but he wasn't going to miss it so that was fab. Still keeping FX I don't get what he has, so far so good.

Being moved by two day means I'm also 13 weeks tomoro! Is that when the 2nd trimester officially starts? The ladies at scan worked out yesterday I'll be 20 weeks Xmas day and 2nd scan is day before DP's bday on 29th so exciting!

I'm 15 weeks today. I think the Ovia app only counts 2nd trimester from 14wks but is it a bit up in the air? My sickness didn't stop till then either way.

Apparently baby is now the size of an avocado and the app said I might start feeling kicks sometime soon...

I have had some full blown projectile sickness today (sorry for tmi ) wouldn't be so bad except I get no warning!
I'm going to go home after doing the school run and have a long bath and a rest.

Sunshine that's the date of my next scan too! I'm excited for that one as hopefully he or she will reveal their gender and I can start shopping properly!

Last 2 pregnancys ive had my 20wk scan at 19wk so basing it around that time depending on what date my scan gives today il either be just before christmas or after boxing day.

Hi gang. I had my 12 week scan this morning. Scan was perfect, baby had really grown, really strong heart beat, sleeping at first & then jumping about, neck scan was perfect. We were so thrilled! But then he told us that my blood tests have put me in the higher risk zone of Down's Syndrome. 1/157. I don't know how I feel now. Mostly frustrated that we now have to wait another few weeks for the harmony test result. I had been really looking forward to relaxing a bit about the pregnancy & now I feel we're in limbo still....

mslad glad everything ok with the scan. not good about blood test. fx everything will be ok.

All good at the scan! I'm 10+6 so need to go back next week for NT test. Baby was wriggling all over the place which was lovely to see.

mslad that must be really worrying but that's still really low odds if you think of it as a 156/157 chance that everything's ok. Fingers crossed x

I know some who are on phones cannot easily go back to the beginning to look at the stats link so here it is

Lol costa, i was going to try and copy it across to the fb page in abit so we can add rl names on

Rite i have updated the mn stats list and have also added the link to a fb version which we can add our rl names.
Will just have to keep both upto date but once the fb group is more active we could maybe have both lists on a pinned post?

I think its tits who is the admin on the fb group, if u pm her she will add you. Its completely private so none of your friends will see and cannot be searched for.
