I just had a minor panic.

I got an appointment for day surgery in March, no explanation or anything. Confused

I had to call the hospital and track down why I had been booked in for surgery I didn't know I was having... It turns out they're sending me to see the anaesthetic consultant ahead of my section. Blush

I had all sorts of things running through my head! Grin

jazzyjenbo · 23/10/2014 13:11

Hi all, sorry i've been quiet for a couple if days, not been feeling great and am exhausted.
Kitty, glad to hear your scan went well, think we'll b on a roll of good scan news for the next 4 weeks now whilst everyone reaches 12 weeks+... I'm still waiting on a date for mine.
Can't join in with the London or cloth nappies chat but sounds likes theres afew of you close together.
I'm due end of May/beginning of june (can't recall who asked for similar dates, possibly lurker?)
I'm in north manchester (close to bury) if anyone else is.

plinkyplonks · 23/10/2014 13:16

Been away for a few days and missed so much already!!

tits Congratulations - lovely pictures, really glad the scan went well. I couldn't see the nub clearly in any of my photos so will be getting a gender scan at 16 weeks instead (any excuse to see the beanie :D)

wild, sarah speedbird longest Congratulations on your scans :D

Fluffeh - Happy that the midwife situation is sorted, even if the midwife assigned to you isn't ideal :*

Gingerbreadlady1 To be honest, I haven't used them before and my first delivery won't be until November so no idea if they are worth it or not. You pay an amount either upfront for one month fee or do a monthly subscription. They then send you baby items that match your baby's age. MSE has an offer on for £9 for the first bundle, so figured it was worth a go!

Kitty beautiful, clear scan pictures! Congratulations!

lumpy Sorry for your loss x

Anyone else had their combined screening results yet? Got mine back this morning 1:8300 for Downs syndrome. Wasn't sure if that was good or not, but from what I can see on the net, anything over 1:250 is considered low risk.

2 weeks and a bit until my next scan (NHS scan options around here aren't great - £5 per photo and you only get to choose one photo).

Also been feeling rough! Went to bed before DD last night at 645pm!!

Today is her one full nursery day and I am so grateful, in my pyjamas and not getting out of them for anything. Pfft. Wish this headache, general ache, tiredness would jog on!!

GetTheRedOut · 23/10/2014 18:05

Had my scan yesterday and found out I'm further along than I thought and due on 28th April instead of 2nd May. Anyone else had this? Don't know whether to stay on this thread or head off to the April one!

May 2015: Thread 3 - Let's do this :)
Turquoisetamborine · 23/10/2014 18:07

Congratulations Get the red out! Nice to lose a few days of pregnancy.

I'm getting ready to go out to the school Halloween party. Exciting!

MrsS010814 · 23/10/2014 18:27

Get the red out- My due date is now end of April, but had been moved to may on an earlier scan. I'm on both threads as it's so close.

plinkyplonks · 23/10/2014 18:45

GetTheRedOut Lovely scan picture :) Congratulations! My dates also changed from 2nd May to 28th April :D EDD has already changed three times already (2nd May, 30th April, 28th April) so fully expecting it might change forwards or backwards a few times more during this pregnancy!!

I'm keeping an eye on the April thread so I can see what I have to look forward to! I like the company on this thread though :) -plus being due so late in April, and given that first timer is likely to go overdue anyway, thought it was best to stay here :)

Hi Gettheredout - what a great pic! I have jumped forward too! From the 4th May (my calculation), to the 1st May (midwife) and now 28th April (sonographer). It's like we're running a sweepstake! Wink

Haily111 · 23/10/2014 18:57

Tits i am West Sussex ??

Titsalinabumsquash · 23/10/2014 19:04

Hooray! A local friend Grin

I'm due 4th May but I'm having an ELCS so baby will be born in April. I'm comfy here though so I'm not moving to April, although I'm sure they're a lovely bunch. Smile

I'm parked in a side road with a coffee and some biscuits, my DCs are at the school disco and there's not point me going all the way home, we aren't local so by the time I got there I'd have to turn around again so I'm listening to the radio and reading a trashy novel on the kindle. It's blissful! Grin

Fluffeh · 23/10/2014 19:13

Jenbo - I'm about 20 minutes from bury! We're practically neighbours haha.
Had my booking today and it was so reassuring. The usual clinic midwife was on leave so I had a lovely one. She was amazed I was on community midwife care and has promised to swap me to caseload care asap. She's also rushed my bloods and booking info through so it will all be sorted for my scan next week. She also said if I did decide to have a home birth the midwives would totally support this and advocate for me with the consultant (who is the same lovely woman as last time).
I feel so much more positive about everything after my visit.
She gave me my first bounty pack too (although there's nothing useful in there just some decaf tea and pregnacare).
Lovely scan pic get the red out.

FeelingBlessed77 · 23/10/2014 20:16

WigglyWigglyWoo · 23/10/2014 20:42

All was fine at the scan today- hooray!! Also got my Harmony results and they've come back with the all clear- lowest risk possible. Such a relief!

WigglyWigglyWoo · 23/10/2014 20:43

Oops forgot to say. 12+3 not 12+1 as we thought so new due date is 4th May.
