turquoise yes! a tiny profile of a face and I think a foot for a split second. lots of movement, and a heartbeat.

mamaslatts I am waiting until twelve weeks to tell my two, purely because I want too show them a picture to tell them and I didn't get one today. How old are yours, why do you think they might not be pleased?

Having a look plinky, I thinking someone sorted us in order of Location alphabetically, probably by accident. Tried sorting it out but just made a pickle of it so some are in Location order and some of us are not! Think we are all still there though.

Jenni Brilliant news and so great to hear baby was a wriggler and happy!!

Sorry I missed your post mama Great news too! How about telling your little ones they are going to get a new friend to play with although not sure how old they are so may be a bit patronising!

Had a scan and am confused as ever, 4+1 weeks ago I had a private internal scan it put me at 5+3. Today I had an external one with an empty bladder and my womb already tilts backwards and it put me a full week out...i mean she did mention it wasnt accurate for me right now as scan was short notice so bladder was totally empty and my womb is already in not a very good position that she wasnt taking any notice of that measurement but I dont know whether to be confused or worried that its not growing right? But everything looked fine other then that x

I'm feeling like I'm in a weird limbo. I had my 8 week early scan 3 weeks ago and my booking the following day. Feeling nauseous sometimes but it doesn't feel real other days. Got my 12 week scan next Friday and I can't wait to finally tell people!
I watched that silly bbc3 show 'don't drop the baby' while i was catching up on ironing and I was an emotional wreck! But it got me so excited for labour and my baby finally being here (a bit early, I know!)
One week tomorrow, god willing, I will hopefully be able to relax!

Sorry for the ranting but I haven't really been on for a while and I seem to have a lot of emotions and feelings today, I thought it'd be a good idea to write them here.

Hi Ladies, pleased you had a successful scan Jenni I had my first scan today and it was amazing. They have dated me as 12 weeks exactly so edd now 30th April but I am staying on here! The waiting was bad, I was nervous but also desperate for a wee!

To make it worse after waiting nearly an hour (and having been to the toilet twice already!) I asked what the delay was and there was a mix up with paper work and they didn't realise I was still waiting. So eventually got seen and midwife commented straight away on my very full bladder so quickly checked for a good heart beat which there was and then sent me for a wee......the relief!! :) It was great to see baby, sleeping at the time so I had to do lots of coughing to get baby moving which was great to see. And just to reassure ladies I have had no morning sickness what so ever, no nausea even. I have however been tired and had constipation and wind!! so having few symptoms is not always a bad thing x

Swear I'm getting the first signs of a bump too! My normally innie belly button as now flush with my tummy and just below my belly button, my tummy seems to curve in. Hard to explain but it is more than just bloat as it isn't completely rounded but goes out from above belly button, to in again, IYSWIM? Getting excited!

When is your scan kitty? Mine is Friday next week. Feels like forever away still!
I'm definitely going to feel like I've been pregnant forever this time. Since I found out I was pg in May all I have done is think about having another baby. At the moment this baby is due on the same date that I found out I was pg with my lost baby. There's something bittersweet about it.

Well after a really bad couple of days, resulting in me sleeping most of the afternoon, and yes I do have a full time job. This morning I have woken up feeling almost human again. Woo hoo.

Hi ladies! Could I jump in?

I'm a newbie round here! Just starting my journey and somewhat scared/excited.

We think I'm roughly 10ish weeks so I'll be a borderline April/May due date! (still waiting for scan date).

Having an awful time of sickness and there seems to be no light at the end of the tunnel!

If you're 10 weeks, I'd say you're in the right place on the May thread. Sorry you're feeling so rubbish, there are a fair few ladies here who will empathise with you on that one!! Hope you've had a nice healthy start to your pregnancy otherwise Smile

In honesty I have no idea when my due date will be! No idea when I ovulate and I can't for the life of me remember my last af dates so we're going on guess work!
Just hoping I get a call through with a scan date asap so I know everything is going okay and where I actually am! :D

Jenni - Congratulations - really happy for you :D Glad it all went well x

mumxof3x - When you went for your scan did they say the baby had a strong heartbeat or give you any indication there may be a problem? It may be worthwhile contacting your midwife if you're very concerned. I think it's normal for your dates to change forward and back - but if you have any concerns it's worth bringing up to get reassurance.

LinaDee - Every day is a ranting day for me. Don't worry about it! Hope your scan goes OK next week, not long now!!

FeelingBlessed77 I know the feeling! Hope you feel better soon. Things seem to have eased off since around week 10 x

lumpyparcel Welcome and congratulations! Really hope you feel better soon. I got my scan letter at week 11 - fingers crossed you should have yours too x

Plinky, no everything else was fine good heartbeat, just was measuring one whole week out, but like I said also bladder was empty and I have a retroverted uterus too so am sure thats affected it. But still am just confused, there is only one time I could have fallen pregnant and that doesnt match up with the 8+4 at all. My 12wk scan is in 2 and half weeks and I will obviously have a full bladder this time and apparantly tilted uterus's straighten out in the 11th week so hoping it will match up abit. I just dont know now if to say am 8+5 or 9+5 lol x

Good morning (well just!) ladies.

I am walking around like I have 2 Watermelons strapped to my chest, seriously I always have big boobs but they've gone round and high like I've had a couple of grands worth of surgery. Shock

I'm still doing the random dry heaving whilst walking around which is nice, although I'm 11+1 now and my scan is on Tuesday.

I plucked up the courage to tell my Dad (via text Blush) I have no idea why I always turn back into a naughty teenager when I have to tell him stuff, he was chuffed and May is when he finished his advanced photography course so he's going to do some photos for us Smile (teary emotion)

Hi everyone, great news about people's scans. Hope there are more positive stories next week. Welcome to new people too.

Having a little brown spotting again today, which is a bit of a worry although they said at the EPU the other week that it might happen again and not to fret. Have had some stretchy/crampy sensations the past couple of days so hopefully it's just that things are moving around inside. Scan a week on Monday - hang on, little bean!

Was anyone else given a Bounty pack by the hospital? Have you signed up for any of the stuff in there? DP is reluctant because when he and his ex did it with DSD they ended up being inundated with loads of junk mail. Has anyone else found that? I only ask because my sister got a hamper sent to her (this is like 11 yrs ago) and I dont remember there being any junk mail..
