CallingallEngels - it's a really complicated language, isn't it?! I'm hoping to pick bits up as DH will only speak Dutch to PFB and I'll only speak English. FIL doesn't speak any English which is why they were pushing/panicking that they wouldn't be able to communicate with GD. I love that PFB will be born with automatic dual citizenship.

Cuppa - I had a McDonalds last week and did the best one ever!!! Ironic, huh?!

can't wait for updates on the shows!!!

Peaceloveandbiscuits · 19/11/2014 11:35

And now I can smell toast but no one has made toast Hmm

Baby feels so low down i think she might drop out! Also feels like she is punching me in the vag Hmm

espa · 19/11/2014 15:02

Midwife appt fine, she doesn't seem concerned about me and my ailments but did say to phone if I needed or anything changed. Baby's head is also apparently well engaged so I am measuring a little smaller.

figginz · 19/11/2014 15:51

Hello can I come and join you all please? 36+4 today with first baby and a bit fed up! Smile

Chipandspuds · 19/11/2014 16:08

Hi MrsDutchie & figginz BrewCake

I'm officially bored of maternity leave now...I have checked through my kitchen cupboards for out of date stuff and made the worlds most boring grocery list Hmm

Tomorrow is my last day 'home alone', then will have family staying to keep me company/help look after DS if I ever go into labour Wink

figginz · 19/11/2014 16:21

Hello Chipandspuds. I have a similarly boring to-do list which involves sorting out our house (moved in two months ago and so much still to do), stockpiling food like I'm preparing for a zombie apocalypse and trying do a tax return before the baby arrives. SO DULL, I definitely need that Cake so thank you!

MrsDutchie · 19/11/2014 16:30

Peace - your midwife sounds AWFUL - can you book another appointment sooner or see antenatal doctor soon? I've had similar situations where I've had to kick up a fuss (I can get a bit stressy sometimes - not precious, but panicky) once or twice after doctors or mw were really dismissive - they tried to fob me off. I had to beg them to examine me and it turned out I had an infection.

Lucy - how do you know?!!

Thanks Chip! Hi figginz!

I'm also nesting but running out of places to clean Confused I've also watched all the crime dramas on BBC iPlayerBlush DH happy as I've had time to cook home cooked meals!!!

peace what a bint! So sorry you've had such a dreadful day Thanks
Hoping you get to see someone nice next time, and get proper plan in place.

hi fig, I think we're all fed up too, so welcome to the last few weeks of crazed whining ;)

Trace ok (eventually) but they kept me on for 90 mins as practically no variation/movements and baby really sleepy, so that's how long it took to see what they needed to... Very few movements since.
He was transverse today, just to keep everyone guessing Wink
My stars worse today, but urine clear.
MRI tomorrow ( having nightmares about waters going whilst in the coil. Eeek!), and consultant after, given the ways monitoring is gone this week, feeling panicky about what will be said Sad, however unless things start with a rush in the night it looks like whatever happens LO will get in uterine MRI before making an appearance.

Peaceloveandbiscuits · 19/11/2014 17:26

She is a bint. She's the one who is desperate for me to have some kind of weight-related complication. She didn't say a word when I told her the result of my GTT Smile

Everyone seems to be in the same moany boat, hope things improve for everyone soon. And those of you with nothing left to clean, please come round and make a start on my house. Thank you.

I'm glad this is a safe place to whine.

I need to ahem visit the loo so bad it's painful and I'm SO UNCOMFORTABLE.

Cuppa - are they scanning for UTI? I'm sure symptoms will go once PFB is here. Flowers Flowers for you Smile

espa · 19/11/2014 17:45

Missed your post, peace. Add another bint comment here!

I have so much I need to do (like pack my bag, clean, Christmas shop) but I am just so tired and only been out for quick lunch with colleagues then midwife. How will I get anything done with baby?!

espa · 19/11/2014 17:51

Ugh and just stirred from my nap to find I'm pretty sneezy and feel like I'm getting a cold. Just had flu jab yesterday. Yuck.

omama · 19/11/2014 17:52

Hi ladies. They decided to induce me yesterday but as expected it failed. So....

Elsie May arrived safely by c-section this morning weighing 6lb 1. GrinDS came to meet her this avo & was a very proud big brother - it was lovely to see Smile.

I'm a bit sore but doing pretty well considering. And my bp has already come down so def the right decision to deliver her early.x

MrsW27 · 19/11/2014 18:02

congratulations omama Grin Grin Grin Grin

espa · 19/11/2014 18:04

Omama! So glad she is here safely, and that you are feeling better already. So exciting that the babies are coming now. Smile

Hugmonster82 · 19/11/2014 18:09

Congratulations omama!

monkeybaby2 · 19/11/2014 18:13

Congratulations omama! That's such great news!

Cuppachaplz · 19/11/2014 18:13

Huge congrats omama, wishing you a speedy recovery xx Thanks

mrsdutchie I was in with urosepsis and pyelonephritis a couple of weeks ago, which progressed to full blood sepsis requiring aggressive treatment which may have harmed the baby. very poorly and on labour ward for a couple of days. Since then there have been lots of complications, and I am given to expect pre term delivery, but they are monitoring me very closely as I am waiting on a number of tests and results which they would ideally like before delivery. Whilst a lot of my issues will probably improve after delivery, the baby has a brain lesion which has yet yo be gully assessed and I discovered a couple of days ago ghost he has downs. Hence the current juggling act between mine and the babies needs. Past 34 weeks now, now things looking better each day for LO.

Lucy90 · 19/11/2014 18:24

Well done omama!

Chipandspuds · 19/11/2014 18:26

Congratulations omama glad you and baby are doing well Flowers

Cuppa will they be able to tell you anything tomorrow after the MRI scan or will you have more waiting to do? It's good to get past that 34 week mark. Hope that you manage to get a good rest tonight.

Peace although not long to go now, but would it be worth requesting not to see this particular midwife? Mine is lovely she always makes me feel cheerful just by her manner! I would be really upset too if I had to see someone like yours.

I'm hoping and hoping I'll be next in the queue to have a baby! I'm really fed up of being so big and grumpy, I honestly think juggling DS and a newborn will be better than the state I'm in at the moment! Sleep deprivation with a newborn won't be any different to what I've got now, I considered 5 hours broken sleep last night good!

AziziRose · 19/11/2014 18:49

Huge congrats omama! You have chosen a really beautiful name :) fingers crossed for a speedy and low pain recovery.

Oh Peace! Sounds like a rubbish appt. Try not to worry about anti coag injections atm, there's plenty of time to question it before they'll be dished out, and ultimately it's your decision to inject or not. So frustrating when people don't listen though :(

Welcome MrsDutchie and figginz! Hope your pregnancies have been stress free!

Ooh a baby! Congrats omama, and what a lovely name. And hello everyone, thanks for being so welcoming. So far pregnancy has been ok and stress free. I know I've been v lucky. But that's not stopping me feeling humongous and fed up and a bit nervy and whiny. Blush
Hopefully you all won't mind my whinges!
