chips I doubt they will tell me anything about the MRI tomorrow. I would imagine the scans will go to the consultant neurologist to report, who I think I am seeing next week (or when the baby is born, whichever is first). I am seeing my foetal medicine consultant after, who will be able to tell me about the cord Doppler, and plan re my deteriorating stats/ baby's early distress indicators/my ongoing early labour signs... So I should at least have some kind of plan, AND have all tests fond so it's just a waiting game on results after that...

Roonerspism · 19/11/2014 22:47

omama huge congratulations, and what a beautiful name!

cuppa I hope everything can go as well as it possibly can for you and little one tomorrow. I will be sending all the positive vibes in the world.

Roonerspism · 19/11/2014 22:50

Oh - and welcome figginz. Better late than never :) whinge all you want!

AFM I'm still waiting for date and venue of ELCS. Still feels unreal. 8 days to work. Hoping my arse heals itself in the next few weeks - I developed a fissure after DC2 and it has returned. Going to the loo each day is like giving birth pain wise Blush

CatFaceCrayola · 19/11/2014 23:40

Congratulations omama

Grumpy and fed up here too. Will happily take the next baby slot! No show or anything to report though. Woe is me.

Got really bad pains up top of bump and by my ribs. Both front and back bit only on one side. What could this be?

ChineseFireball · 20/11/2014 00:10

Just sneaking in guiltily after completely abandoning the thread for FB...
Congratulations to Brian and Omama Smile lots of babies in their way now! I'm hoping that enough will be born safely ahead of 40weeks that I'll be able to balance out the bell curve with a slightly late delivery. Boxing day is jolly inconvenient for me!
Sorry that some are so uncomfortable and having a pants time of it these last few weeks. Not too long to go now though Grin

Peaceloveandbiscuits · 20/11/2014 00:33

Just finished packing for epic quest tomorrow. Perhaps I can squeeze in some sleep now as well! Will read and update properly tomorrow from a train.

I keep forgetting to say but if anybody wants to join the fb group too, PM me and we'll sort you out with access Smile

monkeybaby2 · 20/11/2014 08:56

Rooner, just saw your post, poor you, that's horrible. Toilet misery is the pits :(

Cuppachaplz · 20/11/2014 11:11

Morning peeps.

MRI done; none pleasant spending 40 mins flat on back being asked nit to move at all, and periodically to hold breath. Hmm
Been for scan and waiting to see consultant, however scan report looked better than Monday.
MRI report will be next week...

MrsDutchie · 20/11/2014 11:22

Fingers crossed for you Cuppa!!

I'm at work and they've just asked me to write an emergency plan if I go into labour at work :-p

I'm tempted to say be prepared for lots of cursing and screaming!!!

Peaceloveandbiscuits · 20/11/2014 13:39

Well this was the worst idea I've ever had in my life Hmm

Oh no peace, not a good journey?

Can those ladies who have bought comfy bra/cropped tops for sleeping in let me know where you got them from?

MrsDutchie · 20/11/2014 14:19

Espa - I just bought plus size everything. I got an absolute bollocking at M&S because I'm still wearing wired bras but in a much bigger size. I have big boobs which are even bigger now as I'm becoming a milk machine - what am I supposed to do at work?!!! I will buy maternity bras from M&S next week and just be done with saggy boobs.

Hope everything is OK Peace!

Catface - I've had muscle strain under my left boob/rib area since about 20 weeks pregnancy.

Peaceloveandbiscuits · 20/11/2014 14:33

Espa I'm wearing Geni Bra from BHS. They come in dress sizes rather than traditional bra sizes and are so damn comfortable I forget I'm wearing one - and I've got a huge bust!

espa · 20/11/2014 14:35

I've tried nursing bras and couldn't get any to fit but figure boobs will change again anyway so holding off on that. But I'd quite like a crop top type bra for sleeping in. Markies only have in white and nude and I hate nude!

Lucy90 · 20/11/2014 14:53

Im wearing sports bras from primark, they come in all different colours and sizes S-XL. They are only £2.50 and really comfortable.
For nursing bras i went to mothercare

Cuppachaplz · 20/11/2014 17:54

Mothercare nursing bras, and internet cheapie crop tops here :D

MRI done. Not comfy at all to stay flat on back and still, and periodically hold breathe for 40 mins. Baby stayed still and will get report next week.
Scan showed a small growth curve drop, but overall they are happy. Some fluid loss, but enough there and best of all cord ri is better than it was :D so Kessler distress indication.
Trace still sleepy, but good enough.
My stats better.
Plan continue daily ctgs and keep legs crossed!
Neonatologist Tuesday (re downs), and foetal med consultant + neuro plan Thursday.
Think this is about as good as it could have been :)
Thanks again everyone. Hoping LO stays put just a bit longer, but at least all tests done, just a waiting game now...

Hugmonster82 · 20/11/2014 22:42

I've got some crop top bras from Jojo which are comfy for sleeping in and come in s/m/l so don't need to be measured. Bought some proper bras from m&s a couple of days ago which felt lovely when I tried them on.

figginz · 20/11/2014 22:57

Cuppa that all sounds a bit hairy, but good to have it over with I guess! Thanks

When should I get measured for a nursing bra, does anyone know? I'm sure I read somewhere anytime after 37 weeks is ok. But the Nhs breastfeeding witch counsellor said don't buy one until your milk comes in. Can't think of anything worse than popping out to buy a bra with a newborn and really leaky tits frankly.

Peaceloveandbiscuits · 20/11/2014 23:26

2 weeks before your due date for nursing bra measuring, apparently (y)

OP posts:
MrsDutchie · 20/11/2014 23:50

Ah thanks for the heads up. I'll try Primark. I'm genuinely too scared to go back into that M&S after wiredbra-gate.

BigHairyLeggedSpider · 21/11/2014 06:53

Someone on the fb site told me that when your milk comes in you can expect your boobs to increase by a fist size. I'm doomedSad

Lucy90 · 21/11/2014 06:58

Ive always wanted bigger boobs, now theyre growing im not so sure!!
Got 35 week appointment today due to measuring a week ahead and the midwife thinks she is running out of room already! Could this be a reason to induce does anyone know?

Cuppachaplz · 21/11/2014 08:10

lucy at a week ahead! I doubt it, especially not pre term unless there are other issues.

figgin any time now really! as while you may need more! you will probably drop back through a couple of sizes too.

When I went at 39 weeks with DS, I still measured an a cup, and was told to come back nearer his due date. She dropped her tape when my mum told them how far on I was! And promptly ordered me some as they didn't stock them that small :o I went up to a c cup, but only for about a week! Was enormous from about 6w this time though... :/
I can't imagine anything worse that being measured whilst sore and leaking, with a squalling newborn with you.

Off to hospital again for another ctg...
