Had 31 wk appointment today, baby is still measuring little, around 3lb8oz she said but my belly is at 32 wks so must be a lot of water!
Baby is in with us for the foreseeable, she was a little surprise and im worried to leave her in her own room even though its all decorated and ready for her!
Had a horrific day yesterday at work, everybody is usually paired up due to it being a manual job but i was the only person not paired and left to work on my own! The manager wasnt in so i rang her and said ill be taking all my 5 weeks annual leave before i go on mat leave as ive had enough. This means about 2 weeks left in work hurrah!!
31+4 and really feeling it :(

Its nuts that some of our Christmas babies have become halloween babies! Thats four now,....

Aside from a dressing gown and some toiletries my bags are now packed just in case. Shock

omama · 24/10/2014 21:45

congrats Ladylel!!! They are beautiful!!!

Not been on for ages, just checking in to see how everyone is?

Am 34 weeks today, had scan this avo to check if low lying placenta has moved & it has Grin, and baby is head down this time so fingers crossed am all set for a normal delivery this time - eek! He said baby is really low down in my pelvis, hoping that means the head starting to engage as it'll explain the horrendous pelvic pain I've been having. Finish work next week & it can't come soon enough.

Peaceloveandbiscuits · 24/10/2014 22:07

Four?! Did I miss one?

BigHairyLeggedSpider · 24/10/2014 23:11

Updated mine earlier! Grin

Roonerspism · 25/10/2014 01:26

Me. I'm always late. Always!!!! If I have a csection I guess it might be 39 weeks. But child one was 42 weeks (induction) and child 2 was 3 days over. Maybe this time I will be done by 38 weeks (which wld be scary as I am still working probably)

It is really exciting though. Babies are arriving!!

Chipandspuds · 25/10/2014 07:45

I can't believe we have all these early babies on the thread! Hope that all the babies and mums are doing well and getting lots of rest ThanksBrew

I have a refresher antenatal class tomorrow morning, I'm looking forward to it but a bit nervous. It's a woman only one so hopefully everyone will chat more, the ones we went to for DS we're great but the couples didn't mix or stay in contact etc afterwards at all. We're going to go to Mothercare in the afternoon and get the last baby bits.

DS is sleeping really badly (for him) at the moment so I'm getting woken up at night by DH getting into bed, then probably another two times by DS...I just want to sleep! Still one more week of work, then DS will continue 3 days a week at nursery and I'm going to sleep in the day Grin In January DS will change his hours to the free 15 hours per week and go to nursery 5 afternoons a week.

I've stupidly managed to hurt my knee as I've been kneeling down on the hard floors at home too much - thought I was being clever by not bending over and getting back ache! So now I have housemaids knee and have to rest it Sad DH is going to have to take over the household jobs now and I'm going to have to do the sitting about being frustrated routine. So annoyed with myself as I'd tried so hard to be careful. I'm feeling a bit sorry for myself too as I've got no family nearby, they're about 4 hours minimum away and DM has some hospital appointments in the next few weeks which I don't want her to miss. DM is still coming up as planned when I'm 39 weeks so I just have a few more weeks to get through and if the housework etc goes to pot so be it I guess!

35+1

Fraggle31 · 25/10/2014 14:16

Afternoon ladies, sorry I haven't posted in a while

Congrats to all those who have had their jingle babies already - sending them all grow big and string vibes. Seems crazy to think they're here!!

Ended up in maternity last night till late after I got visual disturbances on the train in the way home from work. A trace of protein in my wee but otherwise everything they checked out was normal so not concerned about pre-eclampsia just yet. Have midwife appt in tues next week where she,ll check Bp and urine again anyway, and they suggested to go to MAU at some point when 32 weeks to have it checked again. Heard Junior on the monitor chugging along like a train

Went to baby show today. Was disappointed...but did get a deal on the cheeky wipes I had planned to buy so that's another thing ticked off the list!

Hope you're all having a good weekend x

Peaceloveandbiscuits · 25/10/2014 20:12

Hi Fraggle!

I feel like every time I don't check this for a couple of hours another baby might have arrived!!

Think I've developed sciatica :( woke up in the night and my hip was really painful, struggled to walk on it to the bathroom. Today I've got shooting pains down my thigh and it feels like a dead weight - funnily enough, exactly how my shoulder and arm felt last week - same side too. Is this what it feels like, to those in the know? I'm seeing midwife on Tuesday so will tell her.

We spent last night at ILs and today was very surprised to be presented with the cot they bought at car boot, and a mobile as well! MIL said it was too beige and boring, so she has been knitting bright little jumpers for the animals hanging from it Shock I'm in shock; she is usually an ice queen towards me.

OP posts:
BigHairyLeggedSpider · 25/10/2014 21:29

Sounds lile sciatica to me. Are you getting pain in your buttock too? I realised I had 4 weeks till I-day earliet. There were tears.

Peaceloveandbiscuits · 26/10/2014 08:29

Yeah it's sort of hip/buttock area. So painful!

OP posts:
BigHairyLeggedSpider · 26/10/2014 12:14

I was advised in physio to get a tennis ball, sort of stand against the wall with it between the affected area and the wall and sort of move your bidy to roll it like you are giving your buttocks a deep massage. can try sitting on it too...Grin

Peaceloveandbiscuits · 26/10/2014 14:08

That sounds kinky

OP posts:
BigHairyLeggedSpider · 26/10/2014 15:24

As kinky as it gets in pregnancy!

Peaceloveandbiscuits · 26/10/2014 16:00

True fact
