Just Shagging Grads thread No.13 for upduffed viroids!

Nessalina · 06/10/2014 07:46

Welcome, welcome, welcome to the 13th grads thread... celebrating the success of Just Shagging in getting us viroids upduffed! Grin

For those that don't know, a 'viroid' is from the original JSing thread 1, where someone was trying to type ladies (in reference to all the JSing ladies), but their phone decided to call us all viroids instead!

The name stuck and we've been the JSing viroids ever since.

The thread we have graduated from is here in its 29th outing. WARNING: they're all a bit kerazy not to mention randy! Grin

There is also a Just Mumming thread in postnatal clubs here for once your babies come along, or to keep up with the graduated graduates! It's a bit quiet at the moment, but with all these upduffed viroids hopefully it won't be for long!

There is also a private facebook group (so it doesn't give the game away in your news feed!)... if you want to join to see photos of new babies etc, just ask in-thread!

So, roll call below please, viroids! Smile

Oh my goodness, I just almost wet myself at my desk reading the Balonz thing. GOLD.

splodge77 · 08/10/2014 16:50

Hi chatty viroids, just marking my place on new Fred. Still absolutely knackeroonied. 2 weeks of 1at trimester to go. Have given up trying to entertain DS today & left it up to Tree fu Tom while I loll on sofa (guilt guilt)

splodge77 · 08/10/2014 16:51

Balonz?

laurenamium · 08/10/2014 16:52

It's on the baby names board splodge Smile called something like Sean Daniel or balonz?

BeforeIChangeMyMind · 08/10/2014 17:24

Hi Viroids

Lovely to see you here. I've been posting in JS since the thread when Popz got a BFP and I'm still desperately hoping this will stick posting for now. But I feel a bit in limbo as DH talked me out of an early scan and I'm pretty light on symptoms. On the other hand, I've got to get a blood test and wee in a pot tomorrow, so something is definitely going on.

Luna I know it was a while back you posted but if you can get onto an NCT course, do. My eight NCT buddies saved my sanity several times with no. 1. I don't know how I would have coped without them. NCT should offer reduced fee places if you can't manage the cost.

Good luck with all efforts to turn Ness, fx for you

JuniDD · 08/10/2014 17:36

Ooh, thanks for reminding me before.
luna, I bought the hypnobirthing CD & book off Amazon, think it was about £30 all in. I'm trying to do the CD every day (since 34 weeks) and went through the book. I am starting to feel quite nervous so not sure how much it's helping but reviews say a lot of people feel like that but it kicks in during the labour! I've also just bought the birth music CD as the cues do start me off doing the breathing etc. It's a bit weird! Smile

FurryScoob · 08/10/2014 17:53

Good news on the bleeding lauren

Ness get your arse in the air!!!!
Eating ice cream then dangling over my birthing ball makes my baby move a lot, no idea what she's doing but the ice cream seems to give her a boost!

fresh I had to ask for whooping cough vaccine, I should of had it weeks ago but midwives forgot to tell me about it!

Off out with a few work colleagues tonight but not feeling like moving from the sofa.

Minion · 08/10/2014 18:03

Ooh I could murder some ice cream now! I think the food aversions are back sadly tho.. Booo
Just bought home our chicco next to me Co sleeper, bought from a friend for £100! Looks brand new as well so that's saved a bit thankfully.
Had my mock driving test today, let's just say I didn't pass haha. Nerves seriously got the better of me on that one I think! 3 more lessons and I'll get to fail for real! Eeek

So so glad the bleeding is nothing, I know I've already waffled on about it, but it's something which constantly worries me, I still knicker check, me.
Mad.

Anyone reckon they're gonna be early or late?

wilmabedrock · 08/10/2014 18:52

Late deffo

You know what they say about a bad dress rehearsal Min. What did you fail on?

RPopz · 08/10/2014 19:00

I'm amazed you're managing any jsing gaggia with all the ass rain! Hmm Seriously though, I'd see the GP. Fx all is well.

I loved second trimester Pis - had this massive surge of energy suddenly! Was a bit odd to not feel very pregnant tho. Def make the most of it Wink

Welcome back Before Smile Thanks

RPopz · 08/10/2014 19:01

Lol at the Balonz Fred. Sounds like a Disney character or something!! Grin

laurenamium · 08/10/2014 19:29

Fingers crossed its just a bad run today min! Did you fail on much?

Hi before Grin and congratulations!

Finally got the house clean after my afternoon on bed rest yesterday Confused DP is currently eating his tea straight out of the pan on his knee which says it all really...Hmm He means well bless him

gaggiagirl · 08/10/2014 19:36

rpopz its amazing poor mrgaggia hasn't been arse rained on.
I've told him no more shagging so he says he's away to bed early. Poor fella.

Nessalina · 08/10/2014 19:44

Ooh really worried that I've disturbed the internal balance with my shenanigans today Blush I've been getting weird feelings like the baby is pretty much bouncing on my cervix for a week or two, they've got really strong this evening! Anyone else got this?! It'd be just my luck to have started labour off by fucking about Confused

RPopz · 08/10/2014 20:21

Fingers crossed not Ness! I'm guessing the transition from feet down to head down is a pretty big one... so maybe it's that you're feeling, a gradual shuffle round? Maybe just do minimal hands and knees travel tomorrow! Wink

RPopz · 08/10/2014 20:22

Haha, poor Mr G. He'll get over it! Grin

gaggiagirl · 08/10/2014 21:44

ness labour you say? Make sure we have live updates please!
How are you feeling now? Maybe you should take it easy tomorrow.

wilmabedrock · 09/10/2014 06:39

Hope you're feeling a bit less uncomfortable Ness.

MiniWil woke up at 5.30 as she's teething. Work is going to be fun Confused .

laurenamium · 09/10/2014 07:14

How you feeling today ness? It could be a good sign that you've moved him/her!

gaggiagirl · 09/10/2014 07:37

wil I feel your pain, mini gaggia was up 3 times in the night trying to get into mammys bed.

ness hope you are feeling ok today.

Pisghetti · 09/10/2014 08:38

Hope Ness is finally getting a nice lie in...?

DP and I made a list last night. Essentials before birth, essentials that can wait until afterwards and consumables. There's a lot there and I've been quite strict on no frivolities! wibble

teejayem · 09/10/2014 09:19

Mr Tee was up at 4am this morning for a work thing, so although I got tea in bed at 4.30, I would have liked the extra hour and half sleeps - the heating kicks in at 4am and I laid under the duvet and boiled. My baby on board badge turned up from TFL yesterday, but I feel like a total fraud wearing it at the moment so have it stashed in my bag in case of a funny turn on the tube and I can whip it out.
pis lol @ Frivolities. No heated baby wipe warmers then....? Wink

Pisghetti · 09/10/2014 09:35

Good lord no! This baby may be a pseudo PFB but neither of us go in for nonsense like that Wink

I'm not getting a nappy wrapper either after the horror of falling for that frill last time shudder nappy sacks FTW! (they're on the 'consumables' list)

littleluna89 · 09/10/2014 10:14

pis is it possible to get some bits that do multiple things? Like we have a highchair that starts off as a bounce less bouncer so you can have the baby at the table with you (think it's called a sit and relax, it's definitely by Hauck) then you'll have less things to buy...

One frivolity thing I've been eyeing up is the Tommy tippee machine for making baby bottles up, trying to make up bottles as per the health visitors strict rules was a nightmare with Alex! But I'm determined to breast feed this time so I'm hoping I won't need be able to justify one... That does remind me I need to check the breast pump over... Is it too early to start packing the hospital bag?

DH is off today, I've made myself a bed on the sofa and have told him I'm not moving unless his friend David comes over. He's already so exhausted from running round after DD that he's run away to have the worlds longest shower

wilmabedrock · 09/10/2014 10:15

That sucks *Gaggia. I'm keeping her in a cot until she's 12.
