Just Shagging Grads thread No.13 for upduffed viroids!

Nessalina · 06/10/2014 07:46

Welcome, welcome, welcome to the 13th grads thread... celebrating the success of Just Shagging in getting us viroids upduffed! Grin

For those that don't know, a 'viroid' is from the original JSing thread 1, where someone was trying to type ladies (in reference to all the JSing ladies), but their phone decided to call us all viroids instead!

The name stuck and we've been the JSing viroids ever since.

The thread we have graduated from is here in its 29th outing. WARNING: they're all a bit kerazy not to mention randy! Grin

There is also a Just Mumming thread in postnatal clubs here for once your babies come along, or to keep up with the graduated graduates! It's a bit quiet at the moment, but with all these upduffed viroids hopefully it won't be for long!

There is also a private facebook group (so it doesn't give the game away in your news feed!)... if you want to join to see photos of new babies etc, just ask in-thread!

So, roll call below please, viroids! Smile

Oh and I quite like Hendrix, but you'd have to have a cool surname to pull it off.

laurenamium · 19/10/2014 18:07

No cool surname unfortunately Grin I've had an awful afternoon with DD. her behaviour is horrendous at the minute, we've had a chat and I've put some new sanctions in place as time out just isn't working she sees it as a big joke. So tomorrow is a new day, she's in the bath now being extra well behaved Wink

RPopz · 19/10/2014 18:45

Haha didn't think so... Hmm

I'm so tired tonight. My arms and legs feel really weak and heavy. Plus I'm hungry but there's literally nothing I fancy... junk/ healthy/ otherwise Confused Confused

wilmabedrock · 19/10/2014 19:09

I went out for lunch and it was great. Still full now.

They are sent to try us Lauren! MiniWil was terrible yesterday when we were out and she doesn't really understand the concept of consequences so hard to know what to do.

cookielove · 19/10/2014 20:01

Hello all, fx juni it all starts for you!

We went to London Zoo today specifically to see the baby tigers and they were all asleep on the back wall at the far end of the enclosure although Eli was awake to stare at them and the Gorilla's :)

Things are fine with dh at the moment, he came back that night and had ds till 2am and after he was sick helped me clean him up. Ds actually slept till 6.30 after all that so it was actually quite a good night.

One of the main issues is that we live down south and dh is from the north so rarely gets to see his mates. So when he does see them it's almost always a weekend away instead of just a couple of hrs. Of course I want him to see his mates but I need his help to.

For the nearest weekend thing I said he can go during the day but come back to help in the evenings, it helps that this one is local. There is another thing at the beginning of November which he has said he is unsure if he can do

laurenamium · 19/10/2014 20:26

Excellent that DP has realised you need some support cookie!

How's things juni?

Wil it's so frustrating isn't it! DD is nearly 4 and definitely has the understanding of what she should and shouldn't be doing. I'm taking heart at the fact that I think I got through to her a bit this evening with the chat. She went to bed in a positive mood and had been helpful and polite since the chat. Fingers crossed tomorrow will be a good day!

wilmabedrock · 19/10/2014 20:33

I think 3 is quite a tricky age. You forget how wee they still are. I bet once she turns 4, you'll start to notice a big change in her and she'll seem much more 'grown-up'. until then drink vodka.

Cookie, he clearly needs to learn that parents of newborns no longer see their friends Wink .

laurenamium · 19/10/2014 21:50

I've only got another month of 3 left wil Grin she's growing up too quick!

ChatEnOeuf · 19/10/2014 22:04

Completely agree. My 3yo suffers a bit because her vocab is so varied that you do forget that her impulse control is shit very much still that of a toddler.

Any news from Juni?

Pisghetti · 19/10/2014 22:34

Ooh Juni ! Hope all is going well and you'll be enjoying squishy newborn cuddles soon!

Hendrix eh? Biscuit

So after a couple of week of wondering 'was that a kick or am I about to fart' I've had proper baby wriggles this weekend. It's been lovely! Started last night. We were out for food and I was staaarving but food took an age to come. When I did finally dive head first into a bowl of nachos, a party started in my womb. Baby must love nachos like I needed an excuse Smile

KatoPotato · 20/10/2014 00:09

Sending love and pain free hugs juni!

I remember DS as a 'threenager' it's hard, because in some ways they seem so grown up and with it and you're communicating like a pair of adult friends then BOOM!

Screaming and big ploppy tears because the lego is too slack or you won't let them run with pointy things!

Nessalina · 20/10/2014 00:47

Hurrah for baby squirms Pis! Smile

Really hope all is going well Juni - I expect no news is good news...
Oh good grief, once Juni's sorted then I'm next! Blush

Eeek how exciting Ness.

laurenamium · 20/10/2014 07:24

Hoping everything is going well with juni! Grin

I forgot to take my anti sickness meds last night Confused ill see if I'm still sicky or not I suppose!

wilmabedrock · 20/10/2014 07:31

That sucks Lauren, hope you're ok. I have heartburn and reflux. Does anyone know what you're supposed to avoid eating?

ZylaB · 20/10/2014 07:51

Hope everything's going well juni :)

I'm still not 100% sure I've felt movement pis had several times when I think I 'might' have, but nothing definite :(. Stupid anterior placenta :(

Off to London today to look at the poppies around the tower then going for a cuppa in the houses of Parliament (DH has a good friend who's an mp so we can get in to go see him!)

Back this evening, hopefully to good news of a lovely baby Juni :)

Pisghetti · 20/10/2014 08:24

I think you have to avoid eating food Wil or at least it seemed that way when I last got it towards the end of my pregnancy Confused but generally fatty and spicy foods are a big no-no.

Ooh lovely Zyla I have meetings now and again in the Houses of Parliament and Whitehall but never get a cuppa - austerity and all that Hmm was the baby show last Friday?

RPopz · 20/10/2014 08:26

Aaargh Juni you're killing me!! Shock (What do you mean you've got more pressing matters to attend to than updating mn Wink Hmm ) Hope you're snuggling a mini-Juni by now Smile

Hope you have a good day Zyla

No rhyme or reason to foods that give me reflux Wil .... I usually just have a glass of milk and that shifts it Smile

Hope you have a vom free day Lauren xx

wilmabedrock · 20/10/2014 08:43

Stop eating?!!!! But that's the only pleasure we have left Sad (need a tantrum emoticon). Ok off to drink a jug of milk before I go out for lunch later.

Check out you high fliers in parliament! If you see DC or GO, give them a swift kick in the bollocks ankles from me Wink .

couldbeanyone · 20/10/2014 09:10

Wil, I am also getting terrible heartburn/indigestion/wind...gaviscon(liquid) is my best friend. Milk also seems to help, peppermint tea is good too. No pattern to what food causes it as far as I can tell. Blimming uncomfortable though!

wilmabedrock · 20/10/2014 09:57

I've never had it before except on one occasion after a chippy at about 8 months pg, and that disappeared by the morning, so wasn't really sure what it was. It is annoyingly uncomfortable isn't it?

Can't wait to hear from Juni!

Nessalina · 20/10/2014 10:26

Still no Juni update?! The suspense is killing me!! Grin

I was very heartburny yesterday, I just pop a couple of Rennies when I feel it starting and that usually sorts me out. No particular foods that seem to do it either Confused There's no way I'm not eating!!

How do the sickness meds work Lauren? Do you stop them every now and again to see if the natural vom has stopped??

teejayem · 20/10/2014 11:16

How is it Monday already!? Who stole my weekend?!

Soooo excited juni!! hope it's all going well...

After last week's bovril-fest, I've gone right off it and can only think about jam tarts. Struggling to eat them though, the pastry is making me dry heave :(

Nessalina · 20/10/2014 11:34

Tee - disaster!! I love a jam tart Smile

OP posts:
wilmabedrock · 20/10/2014 11:41

So Rennies are allowed?

Will have to stock up.
