Just Shagging Grads thread No.13 for upduffed viroids!

Nessalina · 06/10/2014 07:46

Welcome, welcome, welcome to the 13th grads thread... celebrating the success of Just Shagging in getting us viroids upduffed! Grin

For those that don't know, a 'viroid' is from the original JSing thread 1, where someone was trying to type ladies (in reference to all the JSing ladies), but their phone decided to call us all viroids instead!

The name stuck and we've been the JSing viroids ever since.

The thread we have graduated from is here in its 29th outing. WARNING: they're all a bit kerazy not to mention randy! Grin

There is also a Just Mumming thread in postnatal clubs here for once your babies come along, or to keep up with the graduated graduates! It's a bit quiet at the moment, but with all these upduffed viroids hopefully it won't be for long!

There is also a private facebook group (so it doesn't give the game away in your news feed!)... if you want to join to see photos of new babies etc, just ask in-thread!

So, roll call below please, viroids! Smile

Oh god Juni, good luck!! Hope all goes brilliantly and baby just slips out Grin . Very exciting.

RPopz · 19/10/2014 07:49

Eeeeeeeeeek Juni Grin Good luck!!! xxxxxx

JuniDD · 19/10/2014 08:03

Waters gone but cervix not playing. Sad. think we're going home for a bit then have to come back. all guns will be out to get dilating! Ideas much appreciated xxx

RPopz · 19/10/2014 08:13

Think of your Lazy Daisy training Wink Rotate to dilate!! Grin

(that is seriously all I have taken away from these classes haha)

wilmabedrock · 19/10/2014 08:15

It's tricky because I would say keep active but then you must be knackered and it may be your only chance for a rest. Maybe have a little sleep and then get up and walk around/tidy up? 'They' say using a breast pump to stimulate nipples can work. Never done it myself though!

They surely won't leave you more than 24 hours though which means baby Juni is pretty imminent!Smile

RPopz · 19/10/2014 08:18

Yeah I was just thinking actually, you might be better going back to sleep if you've been up since 4! Tricky one x

Nessalina · 19/10/2014 08:28

Ooh how thrilling!!!! GrinGrinGrin

Are you having contractions? If you can, I'd definitely say get a couple of hours sleep, you've got all day to get things really going! Have a snooze, then get up and get on that birthing ball! Grin

Exciting juni!! GrinGrin Get bouncing and running up stairs!

My DSis had a baby yesterday, she's only just turned 18 and we have different DMs but same Dad. My dad rang me to tell me it was 12 pound 4!! ConfusedConfusedConfused He had to ring me back an hour later to tell me it was actually 8 pound 2 GrinHmm can't believe they're trusting him to pass any kind of message on!

FurryScoob · 19/10/2014 08:38

Yay juni get bouncing, hope he/she shoots out soon! Grin

JuniDD · 19/10/2014 08:58

hello!
Thanks for the support, it's lovely. Smile

So, we're home now, having a massive bowl of cereal then planning to get some sleep. Then, we've got all afternoon to get things moving so going to take a shedload of Evening Primrose Oil before lying down, then maybe a walk (if not raining), bounce on the ball and burn some clary sage! I am getting pains, they just don't seem very strong/efficient so will do my best. Have to be induced tomorrow morning if things don't get going which I feel quite calm about but would prefer to avoid. Baby no longer back to back although I was laid down for about an hour in the hospital.

Will keep you posted! xx

ChatEnOeuf · 19/10/2014 09:05

Good luck Juni!

Cookie, I'm with the others - that's outrageous from your DH. Mine had to go away for a week when DD was 6w (ish). At the time, she was a demanding, reflux-y, cluster-feeding, bottle refusing screamer. He spent the whole week before he left calling our friends, cooking dinners and freezing them, and essentially setting up a rota of visitors so I was only alone overnight for three nights. He also left early the morning it started, rather than the night before. Bloody lovely of him.

TabbyTurmoil · 19/10/2014 09:19

Good luck juni! Exciting!

TabbyTurmoil · 19/10/2014 09:24

chat I'm going to bookmark your post to show my DH if I ever need to, as he has to travel for work fairly often so there's a strong chance I'll be left holding a littlie!

Nessalina · 19/10/2014 09:48

Aww Chat that's lovely, what a star Grin

Sounds like a good plan of action Juni! All my hypnobirthing reading suggests making yourself a snug safe labour zone in your home, low lighting, chilled music, get your DH to stroke your back and try different positions to encourage dilation. Get that oxytocin flowing!

He sounds great Chat, sigh.

You sound lovely and calm Juni. Great news that baby has turned round, you're good to go. I'm actually properly excited!

Congratulations of becoming and auntie Lauren. Was it a boy or a girl? I know someone who had a baby over 12lbs. Crazy!

wilmabedrock · 19/10/2014 10:34

Sorry for typos on and an.

couldbeanyone · 19/10/2014 11:34

Good luck Juni! My first labour started like yours although I just phoned hospital and said waters have broken not coming in yet thanks Wink but had very mild contractions for quite some hours until it got going proper so all sounding promising for you!

TheBooMonster · 19/10/2014 11:49

ooh! exciting times Juni! How far along are you again?

minimooo · 19/10/2014 11:55

Oooo, exciting times juni! Hope you can get some rest this morning and then get on that ball! Grin

Hello chat! Congrats on your bfp (sorry I'm a bit late). Lovely to see you here x

Congrats lauren on becoming an auntie! How's your sickness doing now you're on the medication? I came off mine last weekend and have been horribly sick all week, so started taking them again last night. I'm so hoping this wears off for us both soon. I want to feel glowing goddammit!

Sorry to hear that dh is being a twonk cookie. Hope you manage to get it resolved soon.

Off to see dh's cousin and her newborn today so will be having lots of baby cuddles today. Lovely lovely lovely!

JuniDD · 19/10/2014 13:15

Hello, I didn't manage to get much sleep in the end. Lay down with DP and had 3 contractions in 45 mins. They've been going on and off since then and feel quite strong but not regular. I am 39w5d today. Really thought I'd go over and was stressing about being offered a sweep on Thursday (idiot), obviously baby tuned into that! Just hope what's going on now is actually getting the job done.

laurenamium · 19/10/2014 14:34

Exciting juni Grin Grin live birth updates!

Mini my sickness is much better with these meds thanks Grin I'm dreading them running out mind you!

Wil she's had a boy! Still no name as yet, although the front runner was Hendrix all the way through pregnancy so we will see! I'm hoping the name Hendrix is a grower and ill grow to love it Wink

Off with DM to go get some farm kittens, we've never been allowed cats growing up and I can't have them at mine because of work and my dog so I'm actually a bit excited I've turned back into a child

ZylaB · 19/10/2014 14:34

Good luck juni Grin

laurenamium · 19/10/2014 15:18

Change of plan...DD has drawn all over the leg of my DMs wooden dining room table in biro Confused totally out of character and she definitely knows better, so we are off home. No kittens today is her punishment Hmm

RPopz · 19/10/2014 15:47

Great news he's flipped round Juni - I know that was worrying you. Onwards and upwards! You sound very calm Smile

Had our Lazy Daisy birth partner class today. It was brilliant and even DH liked it and engaged with it. So pleased Smile Actually excited for the big day now... is that a thing!? Hmm

wilmabedrock · 19/10/2014 17:55

Haha Popz no that definitely is not a thing you loon Wink .

Oh no Lauren, how disappointing you didn't get to see the kittens!

How's it going Juni? Hope you can get some more rest before the contractions get more regular.
