Any June mums to be yet?

I've seen the group for May or June, but are there any other definite Junes yet?
Been getting faint positive lines for a few days but today have got a definite line, giving me a due date of around 6th June :)

Trying to stay cautiously optimistic at the moment as we had an MMC in May at 8 weeks.

So, who else is out there? :)

To be honest, I worried throughout my last pregnancy. You were supposed to feel so many kicks in an hour and I was lucky if I felt 10 small movements in a day due to an anterior placenta. However, having a Doppler at home kept me sane. On a couple of occasions my midwife struggled to find the heartbeat and my husband had to tell her where to find it!

MrsExtraOrdinary · 16/10/2014 14:30

The sick feeling has been so debilitating today. I have just managed to eat half a pineapple melon fruit pack from tesco. I managed a whole 63 calories! Go me! I've bought some gaviscon hoping that's going to settle this stomach. I feel so rough have not managed any work at all today.

MrsExtraOrdinary · 16/10/2014 15:35

I knew it was only a matter of time....mum have you seen how fat you're getting? Look at the size of your stomach! Oh hells bells that was 7yr old ds. Blush

Hello ladies. I got my BFP this morning and the internet tells me my due date would be between 30th June - 2nd July, so hopping on the bus if there's any seats?
I'm 34 and this is my first dc.
I have absolutely no clue what I've let myself in for.
Left dp looking a bit dazed this morning when I set off for work.

Phryn · 16/10/2014 16:29

Congrats purple, belle and ohlordy. Plenty of seats still available but I'm very excited to hear that soon we won't be newest AN bus!

Random question but is anyone else finding their temperature a bit up and down - or at least more intolerant of being too warm than usual. I'm 7+1, been feeling nauseous (but not thrown up) for a week. Feel very sensitive to temperature but I often am of I feel sick so wonder if that's connected Confused

Welcome ohlordy congrats!

Hope scan goes well perpetual thinking of you....

RIGHT.

Had first midwife appt today (actually thought it was booking appt, but evidently not). Went through my confusion about dates with the added detail that I vaguely (very vaguely) remember the "period" that I now think may've been implantation as being 22nd August (I remember this because I was getting p*ssed at a beer festival that weekend. Classy.). She seemed fairly convinced that was implantation and working back has me as 13 weeks, with a due date of 17th April! She's put me down for an urgent scan (within the next 10 days hopefully) to get it confirmed.

I'm pretty dubious (seriously NO symptoms except teeny night time bladder until two weeks ago) but it looks like I may yet be leaving you...will wait until the scan to confirm things until I do.

In two minds about all this - on the one hand I am very relieved to have potentially skipped a long wait until we have first scan/can start telling more people/relax a bit but on the other that beer festival was...ahem...not my only night out in August/September...and I was smoking a bit...and dieting (because we had decided to stop TTC until I had lost some weight, oh the lols)...AND I was working late in London at one point and went MENTAL on half price sushi for the train journey home...(diet going well then).

Sorry stupid question. So is there a Facebook group?

Also is it a secret one as we obviously haven't announced yet so I don't want to join and have it show up! Haha

Will be lovely to put some faces to the names and have somewhere else to chat. Smile

MrsExtraOrdinary · 16/10/2014 18:47

Buba, there is indeed an fb page. If you pm detective your name and description of photo she can send you a request to join. Think she's been working today but she will get to it if you pm her. I'm not sure how to add anyone myself. It's very secret so not visible to your friends on fb.

ots · 16/10/2014 18:54

Yes the group is very private, I asked my sister to search for it just to double check, and it doesn't even come up in the search results Smile
It is nice to put faces (and real names!) to names!

Feeling really sick this evening, and DS had the mother of all tantrums at dinner. So I've left DH to deal with him and am currently having a long (but lukewarm) soak in the bath.

Thank you ladies.

Will pm her now Smile

ohlordyplordy · 16/10/2014 19:07

Thanks for the welcomes ladies x
I'll have to gradually read back and get to know you all!
Will pm detective my details and join the fb group.

PerpetualStudent · 16/10/2014 19:24

Thanks chook
Had my scan & after a day of feeling seriously panicked - there it was!!
A little smaller than we thought, about 6+5, but a happy bean with a heartbeat!!

MrsExtraOrdinary · 16/10/2014 19:26

So pleased to hear that perpetual. Thanks

Great news perpetual. Thanks

I've tried to pm but it won't let me on my phone, not even on the desktop site.

Will have to try tomorrow from my laptop.

Smile
Chookford · 16/10/2014 20:33

perpetual that's fantastic news! I'm so pleased for you!!!

ots · 16/10/2014 20:40

bubalou they've changed how you pm from a mobile since they updated it. You need to tap the mumsnet icon to take you to the homepage (rather than just the talk homepage). Then you can see your inbox and from there you can send a new message. Hope that works :)

perpetual great news about your scan, so pleased for you.

Got my first midwife apt tomorrow. So glad I'll be 'in the system', although I don't think it's my booking in, just general questions, but at least from there I will hopefully get a date for booking in and scan. I'll be 7 weeks on Saturday, feels like another mini milestone for me :)
