Any June mums to be yet?

I've seen the group for May or June, but are there any other definite Junes yet?
Been getting faint positive lines for a few days but today have got a definite line, giving me a due date of around 6th June :)

Trying to stay cautiously optimistic at the moment as we had an MMC in May at 8 weeks.

So, who else is out there? :)

Evening all, I'm super duper tired. I went to bed at 9pm last night and didn't get up until dh woke in at 7am. Why is it when I least want to have sex dh finds this attractive and yet if I'm gagging for it, which I expect I will be in a few months he won't be very bothered? I just want to sleep and sleep at the moment. Trouble is I was aneamic before the pg started with a continually low feritin count. I have an apt to see the consultant heamatologist next week. But God knows what they'll do now. As oral iron is no longer an option for me after 20 years. Also my thyroid is bound to be playing havoc. Already on high dose thyroxine. Sad

Sunbathing I'm in complete denial and have done nothing except get anxious about this massive can of worms I'm about to open! It's exceedingly crap and I need to deal with it, but I'm scared.

notsoold · 14/10/2014 22:45

Notsoold - I've just announced on the Facebook bus. I know you from there...

silversixpence · 14/10/2014 23:22

Can I ask how much private scans cost? We haven't done one before but might consider it this time.

I am mainly suffering from horrendous bloating Hmm it has been really painful this evening. I am sure my diet is not helping - we have been eating starchy carbs and lentils! Nausea was bad a couple of days ago but was ok today.

Morning ladies. Hope everyone is OK.
So I haven't bled any more from my bum so whatever that was seems to have gone! I had been constipated for a few days so that was probably why. And haven't noticed any more pink blood when doing a wee so remaining positive at the moment. It does seem a coincidence that I had blood around that area anyway due to my bum cut Blush so I am pretty sure the blood was from that and not anything to do with the baby.

My godmother took me out for pizza last night and I told her I was pregnant again. She was so supportive when I had the MMC, so I decided I would want to have her around if it all went pear shaped this time too.

I feel so bloated though! Obviously didn't help having a large pizza, dough balls and cheese cake! And my dad is taking me out for breakfast this morning so more crap! Really going to start watching what I eat. I feel so much better on the days I eat well.

This week is national baby loss awareness week, and tonight DH and I are going to sit together and light a candle for the baby we lost. DH doesn't talk often about the MMC, and he said he feels like lighting a candle tonight will really help him to move past it, especially knowing that parents all across the country will be doing the same thing

Morning, so glad sunbathing you are feeling more at ease? So has that had an impact on the insomnia. I'm feeling pretty rough tbh. I don't think this pg will be a breeze sadly. Onlookers would probably think me a bit odd for having 5 already considering I hate the physicality of being pregnant. Don't get me wrong I love babies to pieces and was filling college application in with my eldest last night and got very emotional. My dc now 14 has just got into the police cadets and goes to her first concert tonight. Her dad bought her Ed Shearan tickets for her birthday. I've really enjoyed being a mum, I wouldn't change anything. And now they are growing into lovely people I'm very proud. I don't mind the actual birth bit, but the growing bit I'm a bit crap at tbh. I expect the fainting will kick in soon. Already very light headed. Every time i move it feels like my stomach muscles are going twang like guitar strings. I've also been prone to pre natal depression. The good thing as as soon as the baby is born I will feel like me again. I've just got to get through the next 7.5 months Grin maybe I might write a diary. This is most definitely the last pregnancy. A picture each month as a record of my last pregnancy Ever.

HariboBrenshnio · 15/10/2014 07:37

Hi ladies,

Do you mind if I join this bus? My EDD is the 28th of May but I'm likely to give birth in June. I feel like in 'know' some of you from the TTC boards and 2 of my lovely October 13 ladies are here too and I'd like to do this second journey with them. Iv been keeping up to date with you all anyway!

I've not got any major symptoms which compared to my last pregnancy is strange. Very tired, boobs occasionally sore, occasional heartburn but that's all. I'm coming up to 8 weeks. Sorry to all those suffering, mrsextra that sounds really tough but it's good to be thinking in the long term!

Iv it a doctors appointment this morning to ask for a referral to 'one to one' midwives, no scans or midwives appointments as yet.

Hey all. Smile

I have read all the updates and am glad to hear that everybody seems to be progressing well.

A tiny bit better here. I actually managed to go out somewhere other than the school run yesterday. I have literally been housebound for over a week. Haven't even been to tesco because the smells, light and temperature changes do not help at all.

I've only been sick 3-4 times but the stomach ache / nausea, heaving and wretching is awful. It literally never stops. Hmm

Oh well. Only 9 days until my private 8 week scan and then I can hopefully relax a bit. At least then I will know all this sickness is for a great reason.

Has everyone booked in with their midwifes yet? I haven't even spoken to them. Will probably call them after my scan. Smile

AnythingNotEverything · 15/10/2014 08:00

Big waves to Haribo!

Bub that sounds really tough. I haven't caught up on the whole thread yet (you ladies are chatty!) do you know what's making you so I'll? Is it likely to be HG or could it be twins? Either way I hope you find something that helps and gets you to your scan.

No contact with midwives yet. They don't book in here until 8/9 weeks which is ages away. It seems too early for that sort of thing. I'll leave it a week or so I think.

Still too early for symptoms I think, although I'm watching careful to changes to my milk as I'm sure DD will let me know if she's not keen ...

sparkle17 · 15/10/2014 08:32

Welcome haribo nice to see you here. Glad things are going well for you.

Jackiebrambles · 15/10/2014 08:58

Morning ladies!

Welcome Haribo!

Ots glad the bleeding has stopped! I have had similar before, it’s because of the constipation. Very scary when you see the blood on the toilet paper.

Bubalou glad things are improving a bit on the nausea front, god it sounds dreadful for you.

MrsE great idea to take a picture each month, my DS is only 20 months but its amazing how motherhood makes you forget things. I can’t remember when I started to show last time or how I got my free NHS treatment card!

I’m feeling ok but then again I’m only 3 weeks! I didn’t find out I was pregnant until I was about 5 weeks before so this time is dragging like mad! Managed to make a docs appoint for Monday after next (first time I could get in!). Seems daft when all she will do is ask when my LMP is and then refer me to the midwife team.

My lower back is really aching at the moment but that is pretty much my only symptom! My boobs feel heavy but not too sore at the moment.

bubalou · 15/10/2014 09:25

Hi anything Smile

I don't mean it in a harsh way but I hope it's not twins! Don't think I could cope.

I didn't suffer this badly with DS but that was over 6 years ago now.

I do hope it passes soon. I'm still able to eat and drink - although only certain things so it's obviously not anywhere near as bad as some peoples but I'm literally getting 10 minutes of relief every 4 hours - maybe.

Oh well. I keep reminding myself I am lucky and it won't last forever Smile

AnythingNotEverything · 15/10/2014 10:15

Bub I think that's fair - particular if you've already got children. Huge shock when no2 becomes no 2 and no 3!

I have backache and am bloated. I'd forgotten how scary this first trimester is. Every twinge feels like a potential miscarriage. Roll on 12 week scan!
