I've seen the group for May or June, but are there any other definite Junes yet?
Been getting faint positive lines for a few days but today have got a definite line, giving me a due date of around 6th June :)

Trying to stay cautiously optimistic at the moment as we had an MMC in May at 8 weeks.

So, who else is out there? :)

I slept too, Mrs!

My husband is 6'6" with a big head and I think DD will take after him! I'm asking for a c-section: previous section last year, DD's weight and 99th percentile head hopefully good enough reasons.

Chookford · 09/10/2014 08:22

I slept too.... Although I needed the loo so badly it hurt, but hey sleep is fabulous!

My daughter just asked me why my tummy is bigger this morning! Blush so I am now getting fat great! But then I do tend to show early I had a bump with her by 8 weeks... Oooh birth stories I love them, I will share mine when I get to work as just running out for the school run!

bubalou I feel your pain we sold our house and bought a new build that will be ready in March and I will hopefully be due end of May beginning of June so that should be fun!!

jazzyjenbo · 09/10/2014 08:29

Morning, thankfully i'm not in the insomnia club, i could sleep for a year i think!!

Perceptual - internal scanning isnt so bad, doesnt increase miscarriage or nethin like that and can give a much clearer picture of baby and reproductive organs in general. For those that havn't had them the scanner is i long wand (dildoShock) and they cover it with a condom and gel. Its abit uncomfortable (cold and excuse the pun hard) but doesnt hurt. However if they do need to check ovaries etc they may push the wand side to side which tbh is painful. But its worth it to check bean.
I've had about 6 internal scans.. 36 weeks with ds, 4 with mmc in jan and 1 last week. I'm expecting to hav another nxt week at reassurance scan.

Feeling very sick today, doesnt help that the house stinks of the cakes i made last night to decorate today... I make cakes as a hobby but tbh i wish i didnt whilst i feel like this!... Mite post a pic tonight when its finished for any 1D fans out there!

Perpetual not perceptual sorry x

fortywinx · 09/10/2014 09:32

Morning all! Glad you managed to sleep cup and MrsE. I'm back at work today Sad Sleeping alright but just exhausted all the time anyway.
Also had bad dreams last night so poas this morning to reassure myself, and it said 3+ weeks so that made me feel better as I'm 5+1 today by my calculation.
And I agree with you sunbathing, just keep thinking happy thoughts. There's still time for them to invent some kind of teleportation device to get baby out, right?! XD

MrsExtraOrdinary · 09/10/2014 09:35

So glad you slept too chock. My tummy is looking remarkably pg too. I'm not sure my keeping it under wraps until February is going to work. I think I need to go shopping and find lots of loose things.

I've just realised I'm due when ds is doing his gcse's. Which will be another reason my mother has a go at me. Knowing me though I'll just wait until he's done his last exam. Grin

Chookford · 09/10/2014 09:57

thanks Mrs I dont think I will be able to hide this belly much longer its ridiculous! I do tend to wear loose fitting tops anyway to hide my enormous boobs so that wont arouse suspicion just yet!

Why would yuor mother have a go at you? because this is no 6? dont listen to her or anyone, you have been through enough and you are on your way to your happy ending so ignore all negative reactions!

PeppermintChaiLatte · 09/10/2014 10:33

Thanks Kyz for adding me to the stats - I'm 31, edd 15th June, called the GP surgery this week and basically I can't book appt with midwife until I'm 7 - 8 weeks (which is probably normal but an awful long time for a worrier like me!). Am 4+3 today. The tingly waterfall in my uterus has mostly stopped but plenty of cm, tingly boobs and back ache. No nausea - yet!

Chookford · 09/10/2014 10:53

Hi Peppermint

Welcome to the nut house! Glad you said about cm, Im having loads of it making me feel wet so have to keep running to the loo to check its nothing sinsiter, roll on June when we all have these babies in out arms!

Chookford · 09/10/2014 10:53

haha yeah do it! Grin mmm Malteasers... I want some now..

Im hoping most of mine is just bloat otherwise I am going to be absolutely massive! I wasnt too bad with my dd put on 2 stone overall and belly only really became quite big right at the end she was 8 days late so the last few days I seemed to double in size!

not daft at all. I feel the same way.... like the more people that know the more likely it will go wrong, which rationally I know is ridiculous but that the way my mind wants to play it!

At least with the weather turning we have the excuse to cover up in loose jumpers/cardigans and long scarves etc it is a little bit easier to hide a bump through winter as apposed to summer!

Hi all I hope the insomniacs get some sleep soon. In the first week or so I kept waking up in a panic but it seems to have worn off now.

I am also very bloated, am in my 'fat' jeans most days and can't stand anything right round my middle.

Went to see my new GP today and she filled in the forms for my 12 week scan. Booking appt on 28th October. It suddenly felt real when I said it out loud to someone other than DP and I had a little happy cry in the car.

Think I might book an early scan while I am on a roll!

JennyOfOldstones · 09/10/2014 13:13

sunbathing I think if a mc is suspected in early pg they can do a blood test and HCG should double every day.

Jenny

Congrats on the booking appt makes it all real indeed 28th not long now! I am going to book an early scan too but need to get an appt at my docs first which is a nightmare!

Im in my fat clothes too and still feel like everything is a little tight! Blush

Sunbathing I have blood tests every 4 weeks but that is due to my graves I'm not sure how often they normally do them, from memory as soon as I registered with my docs last time I was sent for a blood test straight away to check my hcg levels before seeing the midwife, then she took over a few weeks later...

Yes I would def give them a call sun sure they will want a blood test done especially if you do have any Thyroid related condition.

JennyOfOldstones · 09/10/2014 13:46

sunbathing I second what chookford said, if you don't ask you don't get!

Forgot to say, my doc said the only foods to avoid are liver, raw meat and raw eggs. Ignore everything else. Not sure I can be that relaxed about it but might stop beating myself up for drinking herbal tea with liquorice root in!

fortywinx · 09/10/2014 14:46

I've had to utilize a pair of elastic bands to extend the waistband of my trousers at work Confused Think it's mostly bloating and to be fair these trousers weren't the loosest before, but they were pressing in just the wrong place. I didn't think I'd have this problem for awhile yet!
