Great news. Can relax a bit now.

fififolle · 21/09/2014 21:20

Thank you jazzy!
I'm 7 weeks and this is DC#2.

fififolle · 21/09/2014 21:21

Thank you Mslad and Quin, it was very reassuring Smile

Kyz · 21/09/2014 21:24

Hi ladies,

hoping I can join in here, my edd is either 26th may or 5th june, or maybe somewhere inbetween! Had my implant removed in july and only had one cycle of 38 days to go on so i'm not entirely sure when my edd date is just yet. There's no thread for June and Jazzy pointed me this way, I hope you don't mind me hanging about :) Got my BFP on friday, this is DC2, I have a DS, he's 22 months :)

Titsalinabumsquash · 21/09/2014 21:44

I'd like to join please. :)

This is DC4 and I'm due May 10th 2015.

I have,

DS1 - 10
DS2 - 7
DS3 - 22 months (waves to Kyz from the Nov'12 thread)

7 weeks today, I had an early scan and saw the little seahorse with it's flickering heartbeat so I feel brave enough to say hello.

Kyz · 21/09/2014 21:48

TITS!!! HI TITS!!

ahem, as you were :)

Sunshinesaz86 · 22/09/2014 07:54

Welcome kyz and tits, congrats to u both! Kyz even if u are early June your welcome to camp out here Grin

Great news on your scan fififolle, that must if been nice to have some reassurance.

Anyone else hating the fact it's Monday?......

Thisisrock · 22/09/2014 09:18

morning all
sorry rocking Sad Flowers

am 6+2 now so happy to be at the 6 week milestone. Got my MW appt booked in for a couples of weeks time - I phoned them last week to check they had got the referral from the GP and was told "1 in 4 pregnancies end so we usually leave it until about 9 weeks to book you in"

nice! What a unique to say congrats! [ angry]

TheWildOnes · 22/09/2014 09:35

Id like to join too. Got my bfp Saturday, due around 25th May. Have dd11 and DS7, have had 2 recent losses including a late miscarriage in June so im very apprehensive and unsure of what will happen this time.
Congrats to all and very sorry for the losses.

Titsalinabumsquash · 22/09/2014 09:54

Has anyone else ground they can only keep the sickness at bay by constantly eating?

I've just lost 2 stone at slimming world, I'm going to be the size of a house by the time I'm done with this pregnancy. I can only hold off sickness all the time my stomach has something in it! Confused

I'm terrified of getting HG again, I had it with my 3 other pregnancies.

aberjen · 22/09/2014 10:15

Morning ladies!

So sorry to hear of the losses, take care of yourselves Flowers

Hello to the newcomers!

tits yep, I need to graze all day otherwise the nausea builds up and tips to the point where I can't face eating, and that just makes it worse. Practically shoved my MIL out the way bounding to fridge to find something to stave of the nausea before tea time yesterday! I'd blanked out how crappy the first trimester is from last time, it's really rubbish!

Have a week off this week - hurrah - and DD has nursery settling in sessions, so will have less toddler chasing to do than would normally have had to do - double hurrah! So am snuggled on the sofa catching up on x-factor and downton abbey Smile

Sunshinesaz86 · 22/09/2014 10:29

Hi this is rock I'm the same as u 6 + 2 and went for a scan today after the pains I've been getting and all was fine, even saw the heartbeat! So me and DP feel a bit more relaxed now, fingers crossed everything stays as it should be! Grin also that is not a very sensitive thing to say about the scan dates etc, I do wonder why some ppl are in the job they are in!

Welcome the wildone and congrats! Sorry to hear about your lossss FX this one is a healthy sticky bean.

Sorry to hear your both suffering from nausea tits and aberjen and I hope u enjoy your week off and downton I watched it last night! Such a fan! Smile

jazzyjenbo · 22/09/2014 12:13

Ohh sunshine i bet that was fab seeing a little heartbeat so early on. Did u get the scan
At your epu or private? I'm having afew twinges.. Like a stitch in my left side... Almost like when af is getting ready. I dont remember this from my first 2 kids but had it last time with mmc.. I think i'll b paranoid until i hav babe in arms!!

Sunshinesaz86 · 22/09/2014 12:58

hi jazzy, i had it at the EPU after my first midwife appointment on fri i told her about the af type pains and that at times they have been really strong and ive been taking paracetamol on a daily basis and awake at night so she just wanted to make sure it wasnt eptopic or anything sinister, which thankfully it wasnt, Dp was amazed as it was only a tiny little blob with fluttering heartbeat but so nice to see and has reassured me that these pains are obviously just streching to make room for growing bean, i am v early so it was an internal but that was fine by me for peace of mind.

im not surprised your worried though jazzy especially if you have been through such a tough time previously its only natural, hopefully it is just strechting pains too and they will subside. im sure this is your time for a healthy sticky bean :) x

Mitchey · 22/09/2014 13:16

Hello all! Smile

I'm still not feeling pregnant AT ALL, which I find rather worrying, although I do wake up with a period like cramping every morning just to put the willies up me, lol

I didn't have bad sickness with my first and it didn't kick in until 6 weeks - I'm only 4 weeks at the mo - so hoping its not a bad sign. x

LinaDee · 22/09/2014 13:26

Titsalina - constantly eating was the only way I kept nausea at bay with my last pregnancy.

Thankfully it's not so bad this time although with my DD the nausea didn't really kick in until about 8/9 weeks and I'm only 7 just now. I Hope it stays as just that underlying "I don't feel 100%" rather than going full blown, dry heaving every time I catch a whiff of a remotely offensive smell!!

slightlyconfused85 · 22/09/2014 13:34

Mitchey I am 4-5 weeks also and not feeling one bit pregnant apart from a few cramps earlier this week. Freaking me out as I had every symptom in the book with DD and was sick for 20 weeks. Hope all is okay and I'm just a lucky one...

Spaceboundeminem · 22/09/2014 13:50

Hi all can I join found out today that my coil has gone missing and I'm pg due 28th may by my calculations. This will be dc4. I'm so scared.

jazzyjenbo · 22/09/2014 14:32

Yeah sunshine i think i'm gona be very paranoid .. I decided to ring epu for sum advise, just what to look out for and when to be concerned etc etc, can't c gp based midwife until 8 weeks. Neway they offered me a reassurance scan for nxt tue 30th so i should b around 6 weeks, prob wont see heartbeat but hopefully will see that bean is in the right place etc.
Saves me afew quid neway as i'd of prob booked an early scan.

Deftones · 22/09/2014 14:36

I don't feel pregnant...feel horribly bloated and uncomfortable. I have AF like pains and doing knicker checks every hour. The bloating didn't happen with DD1 but I guess each pregnancy is different. I forgot how much worry there is!

speedbird17 · 22/09/2014 16:01

Hi all, not exactly sure of my due date, got a bfp last Wednesday but went away with work Thurs so left it until today to re-test and had appointment with GP to discuss going on Metformin, but got this fab news!

Not sure of due date as massively irregular cycles but guessing late May for the moment :)

This is #2 for us, DD is 2.3yo!

BB01 · 22/09/2014 16:19

Sorry to hear you're feeling scared Space, it sounds like it was a shock for you. I guess anybody would need time to adjust to the news? Hope you're ok x

I have discovered that Lucozade helps me feel slightly better! I know it's not the healthiest drink (but it nicely compliments my current diet of biscuits, Pringles (can't stomach any other type of crisp!) and cornflakes. I honestly feel much better since I started drinking it. Hope it's not just a temporary blip!

BB01 · 22/09/2014 16:21

Welcome to all newbies!
