Morning ladies sorry I haven't posted in a while I been so tied with work dds and sleeping or puking Hmm but I'm happy to say my sickness is slowly going I wasn't sick at all yesterday Smile and I found something for the nausea anti sickness bands the ones you wear while traveling
I had my booking in apt on mon and they have put me under a consultant because of the size of dd 10lb.6 Blush and iv been told I'm not aloud to go over due date Grin iv got my scan on 4th nov

Foetushost · 10/10/2014 08:41

Good morning

Thank you for your messages everyone. Just thought I would give an update as I wait for a call back from my midwife.

I called Maternity Helpline last night. They said I'm not bleeding enough to go to A&E and call EPU in the morning. It's only if I am soaking a pad each hour that I should go to A&E.

I called EPU this morning. They operate on voicemail ALL the time. So I left a message and asked for a callback.

I also left a message for my midwife.

It's crazy but it is impossible to actually speak to anyone. I'm sick with worry!

Sorry for the long rant, I had to get this off my chest.

jazzyjenbo · 10/10/2014 08:50

Thinking of you today Foetus, i hope you get an epu appointment and scan today, the uncertainty is very worrying. I really hope it turns out to be ok for you x x

mumxof3x · 10/10/2014 09:11

Hope you get a call back foetus, and hope you are ok xx

Titsalinabumsquash · 10/10/2014 10:05

Good luck foetus. Thanks

I have my consultant appointment today at 12.45, I'm already sat here sobbing I'm so anxious and I think I'm beginning to get quite low already. Sad

Fingers crossed please ladies.

Fluffeh · 10/10/2014 10:12

Good luck today foetus and tits. I'll be thinking of you both xx

BB01 · 10/10/2014 13:04

Really hope all turns out ok, Foetus. I've had a few bits of spotting and discharge again this week plus most, but not all, of my symptoms have subsided a bit. However I had very similar last time, if a little later on in the first trimester. Haven't called anyone but will if the bleeding gets worse. My mum had similar things in both her pregnancies and was fine so fingers crossed! I honestly just don't get as much time to worry this time what with DD keeping me on my toes.

I am showing a bit but it's probably water retention. I looked like this early on last time then didn't get a visible bump til very very late on and it never got large really. Would actually love a bigger one this time!

aberjen · 10/10/2014 13:12

foetus poor you, hope an actual human gets in touch with you very soon

tits good luck, deep breaths, fight your corner Smile

2preteens great to hear you're doing a little better, long may it continue

fluffeh My GP sorted my scan, so here that can certainly be in the system without the midwife team knowing about you (but here it's also up to mum-to-be to make appointment with mw directly for booking in etc). They recommend booking in at ~10 weeks here, but I can't imagine it's change too much where you are since you were pg with DD. Reckon chasing them up is entirely reasonable.

My new secret weapon is...chewing gum! Gets rid of the horrible taste in my mouth, stops the weird excess nasty saliva thing I've got going on (nice) and the constant chewing seems to stop me feeling sick, and hopefully will be better for my waistline than constant eating, which is the other option that works well for me. Does anyone know how much I'd need to chew to count as 'excessive consumption'?

Titsalinabumsquash · 10/10/2014 13:54

Well that was embarrassing I made it a few steps through the door before sobbing uncontrollably on the poor woman Blush

She did however say that I can have which ever birth I need to feel comfortable and sane and if that's an ELCS then so be it. Smile
I just need to see the birth trauma MH midwife first and then when I go back in Dec she'll book a date for me to go have my baby!

I'm exhausted now, can't wait to flop into bed tonight.

FeelingBlessed77 · 10/10/2014 14:02

Hey. I was just wondering if anyone is from the dartford area.

Mslad · 10/10/2014 14:27

Great news Tits you must be relieved, though sorry you were so anxious beforehand

Thinking of you foetus

aberjen · 10/10/2014 14:35

Great result tits, sounds like you've got a v understanding consultant, hurrah! Hope you're able to relax a little now Smile

TheWildOnes · 10/10/2014 14:49

Just posting as this thread has slipped off my 'threads im on' list.
Finally seeing my midwife on Wednesday, think ill be 8 weeks. I have managed to get this far with no bleeding which is a huge thing for me, im actually starting to believe I may end up with a baby this time.
Cannot stop eating though, ive gained half a stone, im eating everything, think I must be bored!

Mslad · 10/10/2014 15:03

I agree with you wildones about eating through the boredom, it seems like without drinking, and being too afraid to exercise or have sex, the only fun thing to do it eat!Blush

FeelingBlessed77 · 10/10/2014 15:06

This is my 1st pregnancy, and am frantically checking for blood every time I go to the loo. so scared to do anything or eat anything before checking online first. I am 9+3 weeks. can't wait for my scan.

fififolle · 10/10/2014 15:59

I'm out. Lack of symptoms and some bleeding this week combined with a sense that something was wrong led me to phone the EPU. They told me that the earliest scan they could give me would be next Wednesday. I've just been for a private scan which showed a sac far smaller than it should be with no heart beat. Lots of love to everyone for healthy, happy pregnancies- I'll be a few busses behind! X

Foetushost · 10/10/2014 16:13

Fifi I'm really sorry for what you are going through. I can feel your pain. I hope you get some real life support as well.

Tits I'm relieved for you. There is no need to be embarassed about crying. I think we all have hormones all over the place.

Tori Grin I've gone up one size and one cup. Lingerie shopping is fun though. Am I correct to think that breast size will increase even more over the next few months?

Thanks for all the messages everyone. Just wanted to give an update. Found out that my MW is on annual leave until next week. A real person from EPU called and said she booked me a scan for Monday. Fingers crossed all will be well.

kittiker · 10/10/2014 16:15

Hope everyone is well this afternoon. I'm sitting here knackered but happy as I'm on holidays now for the next fortnight. So looking forward to the rest. Hopefully, I'll be able to get caught up on my marking, too, as I've unsurprisingly fallen behind this term.

I got outed today at work as one of my friends asked me outright! A really random assortment of people know now but not yet close friends or family. I'll have to get on that.

Bit nervous as I ate some lamb last night that was probably pinker than it should've been. It had been previously frozen so that mitigates the risk a little. Oh well. But that probably explains the terrifying murder nightmare I had last night.

Anyone else been getting twingey pains in their nethers? Not crampy at all, more a stretching sensation. I'm nearly 11 weeks.

FeelingBlessed77 · 10/10/2014 16:16

foetus. hope everything is ok with your scan

BB01 · 10/10/2014 17:00

I'm so so sorry to hear that Fifi

That's great news Tits that things went well with the appointment. Don't worry about crying - I'm sure it's not unusual

Great to hear you're feeling better 2preteens

Hope things continue going well for you Wild

mumxof3x · 10/10/2014 17:01

Really sorry to hear your news fifi, take care of yourself xx

Good luck with your scan monday, foetus xx

LP20140 · 10/10/2014 17:40

So sorry fifi. I hope you're okay xx xx

jazzyjenbo · 10/10/2014 18:05

Really sorry to read that fifi, take care x

Well i hav had an eventful day, and abit stressful but thankfully not pregnancy related. At about 1pm i get a knock at the door and the police r stood there and start questioning me about my car! Apparently it was involved in a drive off from a petrol station and they needed me to account for my movements. Of course it wasnt me or my car but it looks like the reg has been cloned. I've had to inform my insurance, dvla and i'm a childminder so all the parents as it will potentially flag up on anpr so the kids might b with me.
Total nightmare, its a brandnew car aswell!

Sunshinesaz86 · 10/10/2014 18:13

So sorry to hear your news Ffifi! Thinking of you. Look after yourself x

Glad your now booked in foetus I hope everything goes well on Monday.

Kittiker I've been getting low abdomen pains on and off since I found out however they've eased ok the last couple of weeks which is good but I have been getting lightening crotch/vag lol! Funny shooting/twingey pains down there assume it's normal! Grin I hope u enjoy your time off.

Feeling I think a few of us have been exactly the same. It's such a worrying time up until the scan it's natural to worry. If your 9+3 only a few more weeks to go, hopefully it'll come round quickly for all of us.
