I haven't read through the thread yet - but I feel so sick Sad I feel so terrible all day that I just want to cry.

8+1 now and hoping that it will subside soon (hopeful) although it lasted through to 18 weeks with last two pregnancies!

will read rest of thread when i can focus on a screen without wanting to hurl!!!!!

Love to all

KittyVonCatsington · 05/10/2014 08:49

Thinking of you Tiny through this difficult time.

Lovely scan pic plinky!

Really hope your ms subsides soon Thisisrock-I have the opposite problem at the other end! I think fybogel will take a while to make a big difference but I suspect I have piles, due to some rectal bleeding (nice!) Definitely not from my fanjo but it terrifies me seeing red in the toilet bowl. GP appointment for this Thursday. I will put up with anything as long as my baby is ok!

Hope everyone has a lovely Sunday. It will soon be a countdown to the dating scans!

I had that yesterday tori..it subsided and im ok today. Pregnancy can be very strange with all sorts of weird pains, but if you are concerned get checked out or ring midwife in morning. I was just trying to recall yesterday if id had them early on with my others but I couldnt remember, I did get them lots though abit later I remember that well. Hope they subside soon x

Oh good lord. DP now has DD's bug and spent most of the night in the bathroom. And I've already changed 4 dirty nappies this morning, plus dealing with the apocalypse that was her nappy/vest/sleeping bag/cot when I went to get her up. At least my ms seems better today, so someone in the house is vaguely healthy and functioning! Wish me luck, I think it's going to be a long day.

Tori hope all's well, I seem to remember they reckon old blood is usually not an issue, so fingers crossed for you.

mumxof3x · 05/10/2014 10:10

Have you got a local epu? X

SmileyScooby · 05/10/2014 10:12

Blush Blush Oh my god just looked in the mirror and I've got a super hairy chin!! Before I've tweeted the odd one or two but omg!! Anyone else got this? Should I tweeze? No way I'm going to work with it like this tomorrow the kids will think I'm a man!!

silverpixie · 05/10/2014 13:19

Afternoon all. Sorry that it's been ages since I posted. I was on holiday and then have felt like my brain has been in a cloud since I got back.

So sorry for all those who have has losses :( big hugs all round.

My MS has got a bit better since I went away and I only feel a bit sick all day and sometimes half days of feeling really sick. My tiredness has got worse though. Today I got up at 8 but have been falling asleep betwen then and now and have no energy to move at all.
All the scan pics people have put up are awesome! I have my booking appointment on Wednesday so hoping I might find out a scan date then!

BB01 · 05/10/2014 14:06

Aberjen Oh no, hope everyone is feeling better very soon and glad you feel ok to deal with it all!

Smiley tweezing plus bleach for the finer ones works well on mine!

Oh Tori that sounds so worrying, poor you. Really hope everything turns out ok for you xx

Foetushost · 05/10/2014 17:38

Had first midwife appointment last week and thought I would share.I am terrified of mc and I had the odd spotting. Mw said don't worry if it's pink or brown. Mc will be lots of bright red blood accompanied by pain.

She will schedule a scan for me, and I'll get a letter through the post. Anyone has a scan booked in?

meringue33 · 05/10/2014 20:07

Sympathies to all those feeling sick Flowers

Don't tweeze face hairs, they grow back thicker! Clip with nail scissors, Veet or get them threaded

Anyone taking anything effective for sickness? Am so miserable with it. Doesn't help that half the time when I'm sick I wee myself a little as well pelvic floor clearly still fucked from #1 Blush

meringue33 · 05/10/2014 20:08

Oh yeah had my booking in appointment so got my due date - 11th May and scan booked - 5th November.

plinkyplonks · 05/10/2014 20:27

Titsalinabumsquash · 05/10/2014 20:35

Sorry to everyone going through a difficult time, my thoughts are with you all, please be kind to yourselves. Thanks

WutheringFrights · 05/10/2014 20:45

Evening All!
I've been lurking rather than posting for the past few weeks as I am fairly sure I have had a missed miscarriage as I still have absolutely no symptoms whatsoever.
I am knackered but I don't count that as a symptom because I have a 1yo and a 3yo to run around after Grin
So, my question this evening (because I am hanging on to any ounce of hope) is...can any of you who are around 9 weeks pregnant feel the top of your uterus (fundal height measurement) I can't remember what it felt like at this point with my previous two pregnancies and can't for the life of me remember what that part of me feels like when I am not pregnant.
Looking at images on t'interweb it says at around 8 weeks it is still really really low, so I don't think I should be able to feel anything anyway.
I have my midwife appt on Tuesday and I imagine she will send me off the EPU, I feel like I wasting her time as I am going for my booking in but I don't think I am pregnant. However, if I am still pregnant I'll need to go to my booking appt in order to get the scan at 12 weeks...
Apologies for the rambling but I don't know if I'm coming or going!
Sorry to all of you who had had bad news or who are going through this horrible waiting time, and congrats to those who have already seen their little beans heartbeats!!

Mslad · 05/10/2014 21:05

Hi Wuthering I'm so sorry to hear how worried you are. I'm not much help with feeling my uterus as I wouldn't know how to, and have just had a huge portion of cottage pie & am so bloated I doubt I could feel anything.

However, I'm not sure if this helps at all, but two of my closest friends who have children did not have any symptoms, none at all, apart from some heartburn in the very last weeks. I was just talking to them about it this week, where they reminded me of their complete lack of symptoms in all their pregnancies. Plus, from my mmc, I had symptoms, even after the D&C, so I guess what I'm trying to say is that you just don't know. Every pregnancy is so different. Fingers crossed that everything is still going well for you. I hope you do go to the EPU to find out whats going on. Thanks

BeanCalledPickle · 05/10/2014 21:13

meringue yes I take promethazine. I got it prescribed though you can get it over the counter as sominex. Problem with that is it says don't take when pregnant so they won't sell you it if you tell them. But that's just cos it's not licensed for pregnancy as hasn't been directly tested. However it's perfectly safe and the first thing they prescribe!

WutheringFrights · 05/10/2014 21:37

Thank you Mslad and Tori - I prob should have said that I had a mmc before (5 years ago) which is probably why I am more than a little nervous. I didn't know how pregnant I was (due to just coming off depo) so we went for an early scan and saw a heartbeat but when I went for my 12 week scan we had lost the baby. Two fabulously healthy babies later (both pregnancies with some form of symptoms) I guess I am just comparing and making myself worry.
My lovely DH keeps reminding me that when we got pregnant the very first time I had literally only just come off of the depo injection and we assumed my body wasn't ready.
There is no reason that it should happen again - especially another mmc, as I think that they are probably rarer - are they?...bugger I'll have to go and google now!
I also only just stopped breastfeeding my 15 month old so my boobs probably don't have a clue what to do!
Right I am going to stop panicking...probably...

plinkyplonks · 05/10/2014 21:42

WutheringFrights - if you're very worries, is there any chance you could go to the EPU tomorrow instead?

WutheringFrights · 05/10/2014 21:48

I considered that as I am actually going to hospital with DD to see her consultant, but I just had a look at the hospital website and the EPU is only open between 11.30 and 1.30 (DDs appt is at 3pm) and I have to go to work. I think they only take referrals from MWs or Drs so I may as well wait.
Also, because of my earlier mmc I almost don't want to have an early scan in case it all looks okay now only to find out 3 weeks later that we have lost the baby. I am going round in circles aren't I!?
