BB01 · 02/10/2014 19:01

I'm so very sorry Tiny. I really hope it happens for you soon if this pregnancy doesn't work out. Xx

BB01 · 02/10/2014 19:05

Re telling people, I've told a close mum friend who I see a lot (she basically got it out of me, I can't lie!), a friend I used to exercise with, a couple we usually see in the evening (feel too crap in evenings to socialise) plus some close family. Told more people last time as had more on in the eve that I had to cancel and had to tell work people as felt so ill

mrsdiddlydoo · 02/10/2014 19:32

tiny hope you've got lots of rl support. we're all here for you. Thanks

fififolle · 02/10/2014 19:36

That is heartbreaking Tiny, so sorry xx

mrsdiddlydoo · 02/10/2014 19:39

We've told some friends in South Africa and my boss and that's it. Want to share our news with immediate family but I'm rubbish at that kind of stuff at the best of times and sil announced a pregnancy last week and don't want to overshadow her good news. Only close friends know about our MC in April, not families and I'm not sure I can cope being yay and then nay if the worse should happen in this pregnancy.

So I'm 7+1 and have been having slight cramps on/off all day. Trying to stay positive. It's blumming hard sometimes. Seem to be on permanent knicker watch Hmm What has my life come to!! Don't do booking appointments round here til close to 12 weeks. If anyone has a fast forward transporter or time machine, please send it my way...

I've gone right off coffee, I wondered when that would happen, couldn't stand the stuff last time either and i'm normally a big coffee lover

The t-shirt for DS turned up today so we'll be telling close family quite soon I expect :)

glad the scan went well pintsize :)

i'd like one of those machines too mrsdiddly

CostaLotta · 02/10/2014 21:07

elisa and tiny I am so very sorry for you both. hope you are being looked after xx

CostaLotta · 02/10/2014 21:10

Peaky I remember your name from the Nov 12 threads, I was on there throughout my pregnancy but couldn't keep up after DS was born. I was LittleLolly then. So there's 4 of us here!

So nice to read of the positive early scans, I have my follow up one on Saturday, fingers crossed its a good one.

So today I wore maternity jeans Blush but they were sooooo comfy!

CockBollocks · 02/10/2014 21:39

So sorry for your losses Tiny & Elisa Sad

I'm currently laying in bed fantasising about fried liver, mash and onion gravy with a bottled beer Hmm

plinkyplonks · 02/10/2014 22:02

:( Lots of love and hugs to Tiny and Elisa x Flowers Flowers Flowers

KittyVonCatsington · 03/10/2014 06:42

Morning!

So glad it is Friday. Can't wait till I get home from work and can just crash again! Last couple of days have been a bit scary. I'm 9+6 today and on Wednesday, had a small bit of caramel coloured spotting. No pain or cramping and hasn't happened again. But I have had very strange feelings in my tummy (all below the belly button) of tightening and pulling feeling and i swear there is a slight curve outwards, where a bump might be, that feels different from bloating.
Dr Google says it might be the placenta finally taking over but doesn't stop you worrying does it?!
I have my midwife appointment tomorrow morning at the hospital so I'll see what she says. I'll be intrigued if anyone has experienced anything similar at this stage of the first trimester!

Hope everyone has a good Friday. Elisa and Tiny-thinking of you both.

Fluffeh · 03/10/2014 07:06

Oh tiny I'm so sorry xx

Costa I honestly can't wait to have a reason to wear my maternity jeans. They are all over the bump and so comfy I even wore them for around 6 weeks after dd was born!
This kitten is driving me insane. I'm registered blind and the little pest insists on running around my feet when I walk. I must have full stood on him at least 3 times this morning alone. Dd is still asleep so I have no vocal clues as to where he is (she narrates his every move with aww noises haha).
I'm 7+4 today and still haven't heard from the mw, I know the GP did the referral, should I worry?

Sunshinesaz86 · 03/10/2014 07:34

Morning ladies. I hope everyone's glad it's Friday, I know I am!

Kitty of it was only very slight and brownish/caramel hopefully it's nothing serious especially as your not had any pain either. Hopefully the midwife will put your mind at rest. 10 weeks tomoro is that right? I'm 8 Grin I love when each Saturday comes round at the moment.

Fluffeh that kitten sounds like he needs a collar and bell so u can suss out where he is. And it may be worth a quick phone call to doctors to see if they can chase your referal up?

piglet81 · 03/10/2014 08:11

Tiny so sorry to hear your news. I hope you're being well looked after.

Definitely glad it's Friday, sunshine - so tired!

Good idea to chase up the midwife, fluffeh. I had my booking appt yesterday and the mw discovered I had two hospital numbers for some reason, so I actually already had a scan date etc but they'd been writing to my old address!

Hoping for good days for everyone Smile

Justyouwaitandsee · 03/10/2014 08:17

Hi ladies, so sorry to hear your news Tiny. Sad

I am 10 weeks today, and feeling so much better. At times when I felt ill and unable to move, I wondered if I was being overdramatic, lazy or a wuss but last night I came home ate dinner, watched some tv, then decided to deep clean the whole kitchen (which has been suffering in the hands of DH) and by the time I finished I realised it was still only 9pm. I feel so full of energy I sang and even danced a bit on my way to work this morning.

I don't know if it is just natural progress as I get closer to the end of the first trimester, or the fact I have been taking new vitamins (I had been taking basic Folic acid and vit d, but decided this week to use up a free pregnacare sample I got from the midwife). Either way, I think I am going to have to buy some more stock! I want to keep this feeling going. I really wonder if I have been seriously low in iron or something...

Sorry to anyone who is still feeling rubbish. Hope this proves that things can and will get better for all of us at some point xxx
