Sorry for double spam post!! Said it hadnt worked the first time Shock

Threesoundslikealot · 25/09/2014 19:13

I'm so sorry to read about more losses on here. Thinking of you all, and those waiting for more news.

Mild nausea, dizziness and tiredness here, and I had to undo my trousers after dinner last night even though it was mostly green veg. I'm fretting that my symptoms are not strong enough - I'm 7 weeks which has been miserable the last two times.

BB01 · 25/09/2014 19:14

So sorry to hear that Space (and anybody else with bad news - looks like some posts have been deleted).

Jenni2legs · 25/09/2014 19:30

Husband - these are some good jacket potatoes you've made hun.
Me - welling up thanks... that just made me cry!

OMG hormones

plinkyplonks · 25/09/2014 19:44

FlowersFlowersFlowersFlowers To Cariad, space and all those who have suffered losses x

LinaDee · 25/09/2014 19:54

Jazzy - that 'let down' sensation is how I knew I was pregnant this time!! It's what made me do the pg test!
It's such a lovely, warm familiar feeling from when I breast fed DD.

Is it weird that I like it? Haha!

bradders85 · 25/09/2014 20:16

thinking of you space and cariad x

Kyz · 25/09/2014 20:16

Evening ladies,

My appt went ok, the doctor wasn't sure exactly why the receptionist booked me in, but he checked my blood pressure and said that was ok, and told me to go and book in to see the midwife, so I have, my appt is 21st October, which feels like FOREVER away!!

red that doesn't sound fun at all, morning sickness hasn't hit me yet - hope yours passes soon, or at least eases up!

You know, I don't actually know what my BMI is! I had lost 9lbs when I last checked a fortnight ago but I bet i've put some back on. I did also make a good start on the 30 day shred but AF got in the way, i'm wondering whether to start it back up again soon, I could do with not putting on as much with this pregnancy as i did with ds (almost 5st!)

Fab news re the scan tits!

aw tori that's lovely :)

oh no space sorry to hear that :( look after yourself Flowers

hi snooky

that's great 2preteen

Gah... 21st october definitely is ages away. And that's just for booking in never mind the scan!!!! Can see me wanting to have an early scan at this rate!

CheerfulYank · 25/09/2014 20:24

So sorry for your losses ladies Thanks

I'm a little worried this time too...I don't feel different but it's just that I know so many who have had trouble getting or staying pregnant in RL. I have two already and it was no problem conceiving them...sometimes I feel like a third is pushing my luck a bit or something. Blush

Also I didn't want to get pregnant this time tbh. I was working so hard to shift the weight (from my seven year old, not my 16 month old, barely gained 10 lbs with her :) ) and we're pretty poor right now quite frankly. But now that I've had a few days for it to sink in I want this baby so much.

Jazzy that is a fun idea, with the turtle eggs :) Let us know how it turns out. I might do this pumpkin thing...I'm American so it's practically illegal not to do a festive pregnancy announcement :o

Sorry to hear space! Xxx

Justyouwaitandsee · 25/09/2014 20:39

Wow this thread is crazy!!

So sorry to hear your news Cariad.

Red & other people feeling sick - I feel your pain. Although I seem to have one bad day then a better one. Managed to eat all my dinner tonight, felt sooo good!

Justyouwaitandsee · 25/09/2014 21:07

Ooh was it something I said le have you all gone to bed?! HmmWink

Justyouwaitandsee · 25/09/2014 21:08

NoRoomForALittleOne · 25/09/2014 21:29

So the past week for me has been pretty awful in terms of symptoms. Having gotten to a point where I couldn't keep anything down at all, I was relieved to be put on some anti-sickness meds that I've had in the past. I can now keep food down but can't keep it in Blush It feels like my body is rejecting food any way it can. I'm fed up of stomach pains from expelling food forcefully from one end or another. And DH is going away for the weekend for work Sad I've bought microwave popcorn in preparation (lazy parenting).

In other news... DD2 has announced that she wants to play the cello. For my next miracle, I shall find her a tutor... Why can't we live in London where I can make these things happen easily?!

It doesn't look 'babyish' but it does look lovely. Our children don't seem to notice anything about their room until they are at least 1 year old. Until then I'm sure the decor is more down to what we think it should look like.

Justyouwaitandsee · 25/09/2014 21:50

That looks lovely Tori - you can always dress it up and I'm sure you'll get lots of stuff to fill it with. I love the colour - very soothing and calming...

fififolle · 25/09/2014 21:51

It'll be a fab baby room Tori, I like the grey walls.
I hope your feel better soon Noroom x

BeanCalledPickle · 25/09/2014 22:18

Jojo do awesome wall stickers. DDs room is covered in butterfly's. They pull off no damage if no longer needed. Ikea do kids furniture which is cheap and quite nice. Chuck a cot in there and it will be looking great in no time!!

First timers may I heartily recommend the babybay or similar cot that attaches to the bed. Co sleeping without co sleeping. It's magic. DD slept extremely well from the beginning which I put down to that. Worth every last penny!

LinaDee · 25/09/2014 22:21

Sorry if this is weird... I think I might've missed some posts. I can see a few people discussing a pumpkin announcement which is intriguing but can't see any original post about it?
Am I being weird???

Gingerbreadlady1 · 25/09/2014 22:50

pmsl at your post Lina even though it may not have been intentional. It was cheerful yank's post above with the pic.
toriB, I think the room is lovely & by the time you add in some baby & gender specific accessories, it'll be perfect.

6 weeks today, this is the longest I've made it in my 3 pregnancies.....fx....

HariboBrenshnio · 25/09/2014 22:51

Sorry to bring this up again but I just had to put my 2 pence in.

BMI has to be the biggest loads of rubbish. I'm a 34jj chest and it's all natural. I've weighed them, they weigh a stone between them. Without them I have a healthy BMI, with them, I do not.

I refuse to believe that one chart can suit the body types of the worlds population. Some people have bigger boobs, some have bigger bums, some have bigger muscles and some don't have any.

Some bigger people are healthy and some slim people are unhealthy. This culture of bigger is bad (I'm not talking can't get off the couch bigger) is completely cultural. In some parts of Africa, slim women are cast aside in favour of bigger women with child bearing hips.

It's not a fact that someone of a BMI of 30 is severely overweight. I would be classed as that just because of having a big chest. It's bollocks.

I know one thing for sure, my body gave me my beautiful DS so I will love it, flaws and all, for doing that. Regardless of what some stupid chart says.
