Yes, the toilet situation up Fuji was a bit dire, haha!!

MsMittens · 25/09/2014 16:24

Wow things have got a touch heated this afternoon!! Hands out low calorie fruit snacks to everyone except those likely to throw it up Wink.

As someone else said, it would be nice if we could all be respectful of each other and our differences. It is highly unlikely that we are all going to agree on things but unless anyone is medical expert, super psychologist and is fully cognizant of others personal circumstances and situations perhaps we can try to avoid saying things that could be interpreted as inflammatory (whether or not they are meant that way).

As someone who has been both skinny and over weight - hurrah for eating disorders - I know I would be grateful for some understanding and support on what is sensitive issue for me during my pregnancy and not any judgment.

And on a happy note - yay tits what great news!

ToriB that is so exciting and positive! I love the satisfaction of building flat pack furniture (I am such a weirdo).

My blood results were not good. The Dr said they were barely there so I am waiting now to see what happens.

Snooky17 · 25/09/2014 16:45

Hello,
May I join? Have to admit been stalking this thread since I got my BFP, I'm 6 weeks today, taking each day as a positive since having a MC in dec 13 and then my 2nd April 14. Due 21st may.
Looking forward to getting to know everyone

Snooky17 · 25/09/2014 16:48

So sorry space

Welcome snooky

MsMittens · 25/09/2014 17:01

ToriB so one can get too much of a good thing Wink.

Space I am so sorry Flowers. Please take care of yourself.

I cannot imagine the pain you and others on the thread who have suffered from mcs have gone thorough. I think you are so right to be positive and think sticky thoughts, after all a positive attitude is said to help those recovering form serious illnesses so maybe it helps with sticky little beans too.

kittiker · 25/09/2014 17:18

Had to leave assembly today to go and throw up - so glad it's in-service training tomorrow. My managers have all been very supportive - I'm glad I let them know early as I'd been feeling pretty crappy and they were brilliant. There's another girl in my department who's 14 weeks pregnant and no one's even mentioned the fact that getting 2 maternity covers is going to be blinking impossible. Our headteacher even offered us designated parking spots if we wanted!

Have booked an early scan for next week as I just can't wait till the end of October. Also I had some cramping very early on and that's been a worry in the back of my mind since them.

Titsalinabumsquash · 25/09/2014 17:21

I'm really sorry to hear that Space Thanks

Cariad2014 · 25/09/2014 17:46

Sorry to hear that Space. Enormous hugs Flowers

LinaDee · 25/09/2014 17:49

Really sorry space.
Be kind to yourself.
Welcome snooky Smile

fififolle · 25/09/2014 18:01

Sorry to hear that Space Flowers

KittyVonCatsington · 25/09/2014 18:08

Cariad Absoluetly gutted to hear of your loss. Thanks I hope they can save your tube xx. We are all here if you need us.

KittyVonCatsington · 25/09/2014 18:14

Sorry about your news Space (((hugs))) Waiting game is horrible. Did the doctor give any advice?

Welcome Snooky

Glad your scan went well Tits!

Big hugs to anyone hugging a toilet bowl today. It's still the 'other way round' for me Blush

Woke up at 3.30am last night for a wee. Got back into bed after and sneezed. Oh the pain!!! My bottom right hand side below my belly button hurt like hell! Genuinely hope I didn't hurt little Kitlet!

It's good you got your higher dose Frolic Acid Tori x

KittyVonCatsington · 25/09/2014 18:18

I know I'm Secondary kittiker but at the moment there are 11 pregnant women at my school and I am the 11th, yet to tell the Head...not looking forward to that conversation Grin To be fair, 5 of those are going on maternity leave in the next couple of weeks.
Kinda takes the shine out of my news-especially as I've been TTC longer than any of them! Wink

LinaDee · 25/09/2014 18:24

Kitty - I'm the 3rd person in my dept to be pregnant (in a dept of 6).
We've also got a new head who I'll have to inform when I go back from my sick leave. It's a bit uncomfortable but to be harsh - it's not our problem. We have jobs, yes, but it's also our right to have a family and no one should put that off for work or other people at work.
The place will still be standing and you certainly don't get any thanks.
You'll retire one day - your family are for life and will be there forever. Smile

jazzyjenbo · 25/09/2014 18:59

Tori... Its funny that you say you sensed sumthing wasnt right last time, i was the same.... Not got that sense if dread this time so lets hope its a sign.

Cariad.. I'm so sorry and sending you lits of hugs.

Space.. Thinking about you aswell.

Sorry if asking about the folic acid seemed to trigger a disagreement this afternoon. Like i say my bmi is 30 and i am size 12/14 clothes.. physically fit and hav a lot of muscle mass. I had the ggt test in both of my successful pregnancies and i'm sure i'll b asked to attend clinic again this time. But i will look up that info and my see if i can get a prescription.. It might not be making my chances much greater but doing sumthin to encourage a health bean would make me feel better.

Hope all who have bad sickness and cramps are ok, i've been nauseous but not sick and apart from feeling tired seem to be ok. Boobs r killing though!.. For those who have b/f i keep feeling 'letdown' type tingling. Didnt feel that in previous pregnancies.
