How many weeks are you spaceboundeminem?

Spaceboundeminem · 25/09/2014 12:04

5 weeks today.

Titsalinabumsquash · 25/09/2014 12:06

Wow this thread is massive!

Good luck in your bloods Space.

I have been summonsed to an emergency scan at 3.30pm, it's in by he same bit as my DS has his consultant clinics, I hope no one from there sees me!

TinyDancer01 · 25/09/2014 12:31

Good luck to you both tits and space x

Spaceboundeminem · 25/09/2014 12:34

Great just had a stroppy receptionist refuse to give me my results even though previous receptionist said call at 12:30. This receptionist refused on grounds it's not 2:00 and I'm not supposed to call for results till then. Then she hung up.

MsMittens · 25/09/2014 12:47

Hi all

Trying to catch up on everyone's news on the thread. So sorry to learn about those who have mc hugs and hope you are getting the love and support you need.

All is uneventful here. My already sizeable knockers are threatening to eclipse the sun and I am generally exhausted and moody. I have been given my booking in apt and it is not until 20 October - don't they know I am highly impatient Wink.

I also have a BMI over 30 (thanks DC1 Wink) so have been taking additional folic acid.

space hope your blood results are positive. I cannot believe the receptionist hung up on you Angry.

tits good luck with the emergency scan.

Cariad2014 · 25/09/2014 13:00

Good luck Tits and Space - I'm rooting for you. Sorry to everyone who's feeling anxious. Here's hoping you get good news.

Just popping in to say that I've been thrown off the bus. Had a scan at EPU this morning and they're fairly confident my pregnancy was ectopic. They also saw loads of blood so I've been admitted to hospital for emergency surgery this afternoon.

Wishing you all a happy and healthy journey on this bus.

MsMittens · 25/09/2014 13:03

Cariad Flowers I am so sorry. I hope the procedure goes ok this afternoon.

Thisisrock · 25/09/2014 13:07

Thisisrock · 25/09/2014 13:09

TinyDancer01 · 25/09/2014 13:59

Sorry Cariad, take care x

LinaDee · 25/09/2014 14:03

Cariad I'm so sorry to hear your news.
I hope the procedure goes ok this afternoon.
Thinking of you

Kyz · 25/09/2014 14:03

Cariad i'm so sorry, look after yourself, hope it goes well this afternoon x

glad everything went well yesterday plinky

kittiker I find symptoms reassuring also, I still haven't had too many though, though i've noticed my lower back aching a fair bit when I first wake up.

you know kitty i hadn't even thought of the negative effects of a facebook announcement. I feel bad for that now :(

that sounds like a lovely way to announce it jazzy. I'm not sure whether we'll find out the gender. We did with DS, so I expect i'll not be able to wait again!

fluffeh I had some brown spotting type stuff earlyish in my first pregnancy and all was completely fine :) Hope that helps to reassure you

Buba I rang the doctors this week (am only 3-4 weeks i think) and asked what to do regarding booking in and they said they usually do booking in after about 7 or 8 weeks but before that they require that i see a doctor to confirm my pregnancy. I'm not sure if they want me to poas at the doctors or what so I did another cb digi today and i shall take that with me, lol, just in case that counts enough as evidence!

good luck with the bloods space

good luck with the scan tits

I'm considering a private early scan too, i'd rather know earlier on if things weren't working out than later

GetTheRedOut · 25/09/2014 14:07

Has anyone had to take time off work for morning sickness? I've been hugging the toilet all day so far, had to call in sick. Yesterday was slightly better but tues was and appalling day Sad am so shattered and nothing is staying down, not even water. Was in tears on the phone to my supervisor earlier. She's been understanding but she didn't have time off for ms with her daughter and lots of women in my office seem to have breezed through this stage. I don't feel like it's really acceptable to be taking time off but I haven't been away from my bathroom for more than 10 mins today and really couldn't face trying to hide this at work. Am 9 weeks so still have weeks of this left. Has anyone else had to take time off? I'm feeling so alone Sad

aberjen · 25/09/2014 14:27

cariad so sorry, be gentle with yourself Flowers

space what a rude cow! Hope you've for your results now and all's well

tits good luck for the scan

red if you can't keep water down, perhaps see your GP? Don't blame you at all for taking time off. I'm on hols this week and bloody glad about it as think I have called in sick earlier I the week otherwise as felt so rough, and I'm not actually being sick much

Am also in the no sore boobs club. It's so weird, they were agony last one and completely normal this time. 'Cept I often look like I'm smuggling peanuts Shock

aberjen · 25/09/2014 14:29

Really need to start previewing posts...

Got, not for

I would have called in sick earlier in the week

Think that was everything...

Mitchey · 25/09/2014 14:36

Tiredness has just hit me like a truck. I went to bed at 8.55pm last night and slept through to 6.30am. BUT AM STILL KNACKERED. I also feel sick.

I'm 4 +3 - it started around 6 weeks with DS I'm sure!

fififolle · 25/09/2014 14:45

So sorry Cariad I hope that all goes well this afternoon, wishing you a speedy recovery xx

fififolle · 25/09/2014 14:46

Have you managed to get any results from the evil receptionist yet Space?

speedbird17 · 25/09/2014 15:01

Oh Cariad, so sorry to hear your news, please take care and look after yourself.

Mitchey I'd hardly say 'severely overweight' is the same thing as a BMI over 30! I do a lot of physical activity and have vast glutes - due to my 'weight' I should have to take extra folic and should get a glucose test, but due to my health and fitness I won't need to.

Hope all you ladies suffering are feeling much better and please don't worry about taking time off. In my first gp I got 'pg isn't an illness' from my manager a lot and I stood up to her and it ended. Make sure you let them know that you are unfortunately suffering badly and if necessary get gp/mw to give you a note.

Happy healthy sticky sick free vibes to everybody.
