Lina and Turquoise I've been having the same occasional crampy pains and it's so unnerving...probably hey I'm prodding my boobs every 2 mins to check if they're still sore!

LinaDee · 24/09/2014 21:38

I'm 7+5 turquoise.

It's awful Hmm I just want to fast forward to May when this baby is here.
This MMC has well and truly messed me up!

Mslad · 24/09/2014 22:31

Lina Turquoise & fifif I'm in the same crampy boat too. It's freaking me out a bit, I can't say I'm enjoying this early pregnancy at all. The mmc has ruined it for me. But there's nothing I can do except take each day as it comes. Fingers crossed for all of us xxx

speedbird17 · 24/09/2014 22:40

Lina Mslad Turquoise and Fifi - trying to remain calm, but these cramps and lack of all other symptoms are starting to worry me too.. Had a mc at 11w last November and an early mmc in May. Wondering if I'll ever have another sticky pg.

Think it doesn't help that I've no idea how far I am, as LMP was 28/07 but cycles have been fluctuating 21-60 days for the last year!!

TinyDancer01 · 24/09/2014 23:04

Evening all!
Re the wedding- Must have been another TinyDancer as I've not been on any other threads but I have lots of wedding and bridesmaid stories nether the less!

Had some sharp pains this evening which have worried me. Reassuring to know other are in the same boat especially with the worry after a previous mmc.

Went to the doctors this eve to register the pregnancy, only in there 5 mins. Was hoping to have a scan before the booking in app but was told that wouldn't be possible. Not to be pessimistic but I think I will find it hard doing the booking in when I have the doubt that everything might not be ok and go the same way the last one did Sad

Hi again.
I haven't posted for a while as I've been having a lot of cramps and had a tiny bit of brown when wiping which scared the crap out of me. I have no mw yet so I've no idea what to do etc.
It's been a few days since I had the brown when wiping so I'm hoping everything is ok. I still feel sick a lot, my boobs are so sore, everytime dd latches on I could cry. I thought she was biting me but no it's just sore haha.
I'm hoping to hear from a mw soon so I can check if it's normal. I don't remember this with dd but to be fair I don't remember much from pregnancy apart from how uncomfortable I was with pgp at the end.
I hope you're all doing well.

BB01 · 25/09/2014 06:38

I've had brown discharge on wiping in both pregnancies fluffeh and it was fine last time and so far seems to be fine this time too so fingers crossed all is ok x

BB01 · 25/09/2014 06:40

Hi Quin!! Are you on the Facebook group?? DD is fifteen months (she was early)

Fluffeh · 25/09/2014 06:53

Oh thank you BB that has reassured me a little.
I still daren't get excited like I was early on but I do feel a little better if everything was ok for you.

jazzyjenbo · 25/09/2014 07:25

Morning, sorry about the cramping and spotting. When i rang epu and got my reassurance scan booked they told me that if there is any pain or spotting they always scan. Might b worth ringing them and if necessary say the pain is worse than it is (they will need to rule out ectopic) so should offer a scan.

I think after the experience of loosing a pregnancy we can never truly relax.

Sorry i can't remember who posted it now but whats the info regarding stronger strength folic acid? I'm just taking the normal 1 tablet once a day that i got from the chemist. (When i remember)

Mslad · 25/09/2014 08:13

Tori I have also spent this morning worrying about my lack of sore boobs, it occurred to me that last time I could only wear my sports bra by this point, but they aren't particularly sore at all. It feels like there's one thing after the other to worry about!

Justyouwaitandsee · 25/09/2014 08:26

MsLad / Tori - I haven't had sore boobs at all, only some occasional sensitivity in my nipples.

Sickness seems to have ramped up a bit since yesterday. Retched all evening. Could only eat half my tea. And then couldn't leave the toilet bowl when I was trying to go to bed. I am trying not to blame DH who I asked to make tea for 6 but who only started making it at 7. I seem really dependent on regular mealtimes, but not really up to cooking myself!

It is also taking much longer to get up and out in the morning - from not being able to wake up, to forcing myself to eat, to not being able to decide what to wear, to toilet stops. All while trying to keep the sickness hidden from work colleagues! I am hating this stage to be honest and hope it gets better as people promise. (According to the MW I am 8+6 now) Sad

bradders85 · 25/09/2014 08:46

morning ladies. hope your all well and I am sympathetic to the worries! I am 8+5 today and have had no sickness. occasionally I have had sore nipples but that appears to have eased off and had some constipation. I have increased cm and have been sleepy! I have been bloated too but not putting weight on yet so I too am worrying!! don't know if this is all normal!!

bubalou · 25/09/2014 08:53

Hi all.

When / what did you all do when you found out you were pregnant with regards to the doctors and setting up appointments etc?

Is it not worth letting them know until you're a certain amount of weeks?

I hated seeing midwifes with my DS 6 years ago. They were horrid.

Hmm
jazzyjenbo · 25/09/2014 09:17

Thats interesting tori, never seen that info before, i also hav bmi of 30, mit need to look into that. Is it ment to help prevent mc? Just looked at the numark ones i hav and it says 400mg?
If u have a link to that report could u share it please.

Deftones · 25/09/2014 09:21

I hated the MW's too due to their constant attacks of 'you're fat'...They are NOT ruining this pregnancy, I'm older, wiser and less vulnerable this time (I was a lone parent, as in DD has never and never will meet her father). I'm not booking my MW appointment till I'm 8-9 weeks.

Feel quite teary today and mildly bloated. boob pain has lessened, no nausea and mild tummy pains. All very scary really. I don't wish for the sickness but I found it reassuring last time! I'm only 5+4 so still very early, who knows...what will be will be I guess!

I'll be back bemoaning the fact I'm sick soon enough I'm sure ha

bubalou · 25/09/2014 10:26

Although I'm sorry deftones - it's also nice that I know I wasn't over sensitive about the midwifes.

I too am older now and more determined to have no interference.

I am having a private scan at 7 weeks as I refuse to wait until 12.
It's cruel. I know why it's 12 but I don't want to wait.

I have started research into private midwife care too. Does anybody have any experience with this? Would be interested to know the difference.

Smile
Mitchey · 25/09/2014 11:33

I also have 5mg prescripotion for folic acid (I have a BMI of 15) I take it as I'm diabetic - I wasn't aware that people who are severely overweight also had high risk of birth defects??!! Shock

TinyDancer01 · 25/09/2014 11:41

I also have a high BMI so would be very interested to know more. I found this article
www.gofolic.co.uk/higher-risk-groups.aspx
But the link to the Royal College within it didn't work.

I've been told for the last 3 years that my weight was why I couldn't conceive so surprised they didn't mention this anywhere along the line.
I'm sure they use that as a line to fob you off with!

Hi I'm still only getting faint positives. They will only show up half the time and only on early pg tests. My bloods are due back at 12:30 I'm really scared.
